"Oh yeah, Mihawk was years before Shanks was a Yonko. They started twelve years before he became one, or was it thirteen?" Ben scratched his chin thinking hard
"I see, so I'm guessing you were in love with him the whole time?" Zoro asked taking a sip of water
"I'm not sure I would have stayed with him if I weren't, back in those days he was a real wild card."
Zoro scanned the fond smile that snuck its way onto Bens face. "When did you know it was love?"
"Well, there never was a time when it was just a crush. Pretty much from the day I met him it's been love. It just felt right, to love him you know?"
Zoro smiled sadly, his stomach twisting in knots "Too well I think."
Ben's smile faded as he caught Zoro Looking over to where Sanji was still in a coma. "Hey, listen to me kid, he is gonna be fine, he has a fighter in him, and an army willing to protect him."
Zoro smiled, but wasn't convinced. Some things feel right, others feel wrong and sometimes you know that whatever they feel, there true, and like some cosmic warning system, something in Zoro was telling him to brace for the worst.

Law placed the last band aid in place then closed his aid-kit. "There we are, your all fixed up." Law looked over his work once more before nodding to himself. "How are you feeling?" Law met eyes with the crossed legged Luffy, who in return looked away. "Strawhat-ya?"
Luffy let his head droop then looked at Law and motioned with one finger for him to come closer
Law abided and leaned in closer assuming Luffy didn't want to talk loud.
Luffy watched carefully and waited until Law was just the right distance, then with a sudden swing of his arm and a turn of his head Luffy slammed his and Laws lips together. Law completely surprised by the action lost all air and pulled back coughing. As he slowly regained his breath he looked up with furrowed brows at the confused Luffy. Then having full lungs, he plunged back in, toppling Luffy over, and landing on him, snaking his right arm under the shorter mans back, his left arm supporting him, along with his knees, which were in-between Luffy's.

Shanks lay on his bed in the back of the warehouse, closed off from everyone else, only the red haired's medic was there, working. Praying, hoping. "You lost too much blood Shanks." The doc said to the unconscious Shanks. His own voice and the hum and beep of machines the only sound he could hear. The doc wiped his brow after finishing sewing up the sword wound when something on the machines caught his eye. "no… no no no fuck! Shanks come on, don't do that!" the doc moved quickly as a machine started to dull below a hum. The doc grabbed a syringe and filled it with a liquid from one of the many bottles around. "Come on you bastard." Doing a quick swap the doc injected Shanks with the liquid then waited. With no change after a minute he cussed loudly. Taking off his gloves he got up and walked towards the door opening only wide enough to call in Ben with a monotonous voice.
Ben entered quickly shutting the door behind him he looked over at Shanks then the doc "What's the change?"
"Sit down." The doc motioned at his recently abandoned chair, Ben sat down feeling a slight wave of nausea. "Look Ben, he lost a lot of blood. I patched him up and gave him blood, but there's trauma. Physiological trauma. And I can't treat that with blood bags and needles, unfortunately his mind collapsed into the trauma and… and he slipped in a coma, I gave his mind a booster as soon as I noticed it. But the way it sits right now, his mind is decaying more and more the longer he is in it. There's nothing I can do." The doc stood still while Ben cried softly, Grabbing Shanks' hand and looking at him. "Thanks" Ben said. "I just need some time alone."
The doc walked for the door, placing a hand on Ben's shoulder in an act of comfort, then left.
Looking out across the floor he spotted Zoro moving towards the bus which Sanji was still in. he quickly followed.

Usopp crossed his arms across his chest as he leaned back against the front of the bus "I don't care"
Yasopp ran a hand threw his hair "everybody cares though; I mean I grew up without my dad too, and I still wonder what he was like."
"Well good for you, but I grew up with a dad, just without my father." Usopp spat
"Look I'm just trying to connect with you. Why are you making it so hard?" Yasopp asked partly annoyed, partly concerned
"Why do you feel the need for us to connect?" Usopp shifted from one foot to the other
"Because we are blood, we are family." Yasopp tried
"Look at your life dude, there seems to be plenty of blood to go around, and the way I see it, we're no more than passing folks in hell. I understand you're faced with me and you feel guilt and a urge to connect, but I connected with my family many years ago, and I ani't looking for any more friends." With that Usopp walked off, turning down the side of the bus and went into it to find Chopper eating breakfast, slowly at the makeshift table/counter, Zoro by Sanji's beside, and the doc looking over the machines.
He slid into the seat next to Chopper and looked at the young boy, who, put best, was a mess of tears. "hey hey hey, what's wrong little guy." Usopp gently rubbed the boys hair.
"i-i-I, my d-d-dad, i-i-is he gonna live Usopp-p?" Chopper turned to look at the elder boy.
"Pfft, you kidding? Of course he is. People like his cooking too much, they won't let him go away."
"R-r-really?" Chopper looked up with wide eyes
"Oh yeah, see our stomachs are magic. My stomach, your stomach, Zoro's stomach, and your dad's stomach!" Usopp smiled when Chopper's eyes lit up
"Magic how so?"
"Well it started in ancient times, back when the only thing to eat was moss and slugs." Chopper made a grossed out face "one day a village was so sick of moss and slugs that they couldn't eat it anymore. And everyone started to get really hungry. Several days passed without anyone eating, the peoples stomachs ached and groaned and were about to cry when suddenly a white light appeared in the center of the village. All the people gathered, and when the light disappeared there was a blonde man left behind, he carried with him a basket, the basket was full of great foods, bread and fruit, vegetables, spices and more, and he quickly fed the village, appeasing everyone's stomachs, and he continued to do so, cooking and baking, he slowly taught everyone his secrets, but no one could ever do it better than him, so the village vowed that a magic would bind their stomachs together forever, so that they would always have their magical cook. And their stomachs would never have to taste moss and slugs ever again. So you see Chopper, you dad is the great great great great great great great grandson of that cook, and our stomachs are binded to him, if we are here for him, then he can't leave."
Chopper stared in jaw dropped glory "Really!?"
"yeah, no kiddin'!"
Chopper squealed in delight and ran over to his father's bedside "Did you hear that daddy, you're going to be alright, cause I'm here, and Zoro is here, and Usopp is here." Chopper beamed with happiness
Zoro moved before Chopper rushed over, effectively dodging what would have been a very painful collision , he looked over to Usopp and smiled giving his son a thumbs up, then they both looked over to the doc as he got up smilingly slightly, then began to walk out of the bus.
Zoro turned to Usopp "hey watch Chopper for me" Usopp simply nodded then Zoro walked after the doctor "Hey doc, any change?"
The doc stopper turning around "well, yes actually, when the boy rushed over and said those things, Sanji's mental activity increased by a sizeable portion, which leads me to think that he can hear us. But the life support battery won't last too much longer."
"I see. Is- I know this is stupid, but is there anything I can do to help him?"
"Just be there."

Mihawk strode into Akainu's office, securing his sword in place on his back.
"You ready hawk-eyes?" Akainu asked donning his cape
"Yes." Mihawk answered briskly
"Good lets be on our way then" The admiral grabbed a radio off his belt and spoke into it "all units, proceed to the minimal safe distance and stay out of sight, prepare to attack." He then put the radio back on his belt as multiple commands started coming threw on it. "let's move out."

*knock knock knock*
"shit he ani't opening the door."
Just then Ben opened the door his rifle in hand, his eyes red and puffy "this better be a emergency"
The two red haired thugs look at each other then back at Ben "it is, Rockstar went out for a smoke and he ani't come back yet!" the first one rushed out
"How long ago did he go out?" Ben asked resting his rifle on his shoulders
"Half an hour ago!" the second stammered
"Shit" Ben said looking around the warehouse "Yasopp! Scout out the docks see if you can't find Rockstar, as for the rest of you, pull our armor up to this room and form a wall, I got a feeling some marines are about to get stupid."
"You got it!" some red haired officers said grabbing their keys
"Damn, hey Ben! Tsunami teams moving into position just outside our range, dumb bastards are trying to hide."
Luffy Sprung his head up at that then quickly got out from under Law "Fuck, how many Yasopp?"
"Screw the numbers, who's out there" Zoro shouted tying his bandana on his head.
"Looks like the dick himself, and hawk-eyes, bunch of tough names out there Ben, what's the plan?"
"We defend. Yasopp set up a nest for yourself"
"You got it boss."
"Any other sharp shooters get to the back and pick of their commanders, send them into confusion."
From the ranks were many 'on it's' 'you got it's' and it's done's' Ben looked around spotting Luffy and Law "Luffy get to the van, that's your priority, same for you Zoro and Usopp, get inside and lock it up"
"Alright!" Luffy got up
"I'm coming with you" Law said getting up fast and both of them ran towards the bus.
"Ben, they are forming up for a scorpion assault for the front, but they got a pincer secondary force, holy fuck, they got tanks a mile or so out!" Yasopp called out from the war house beams, near a window.
"You boys hear that! Spread out, we get to blow shit up this time!" Ben shouted out
Plenty of cheers were called out as anti-armor weapons got broken out.
Ben jogged towards the bus and walked into it finding Zoro, Luffy and law grabbing weapons from the closet.
"What can we do for you? Law asked handing Zoro an assault rifle.
"I just wanted to tell you guys. They got us beat. We can't run with Shanks down, and even if he wasn't we don't have the force here to do that. Sanji is still our mission though, so we could provide a distraction and you guys could make a break for it, but I got nowhere for you guys to run. I'm open to suggestions at this point."
Luffy hit a button and the cannon seat started to lower "nothing from me, but I'll kick some ass with this" Luffy said hopping in.
"I got a submarine docked on the far end, right on the other side of the marines." Law spoke up pulling out a Rilfe of his own. "But as is that's useless."
"How'd you get a sub?" Usopp asked off handily
"black market in Russian" Was the simply answer.
"of course you would" Zoro said back
"What? It's a could place"
"Okay I have a idea." Ben said and everyone turned to him. we will pull them in as much as we can, then when their pincer hits we will destroy their right flank quickly, then we will rush the left while you all slip off down the dock in that armored rig, if anybody notices you just blow them away, plus, they won't be able to divert and real force to you, we will have them to tied up."
"Sounds solid" Luffy said then punched the button to raise his seat
"Alright good luck" Ben walked out of the bus.
"Oi!" Zoro called after him "Thank you for this…"
Ben looked back and smiled "Don't mention it."
Ben walked to the door again then looked at the ranks. "Alright, we still got a job to do. Here's the plan, we're gonna pull them in until there pincer hits us, then we all are going to destroy the right flank, once that's done, I want everyone one of you people to charge the left, bring this fight onto the docks, into the streets, don't let them, at anytime regain their footing! Keep them confused!"

"Do you think they will fight?" Akainu asked Mihawk, standing up from a crate he was sitting on.
"To the death, whoever's that may be." Mihawk answered back
"I see. Well then, let's get going"

"Ben!" Yasopp yelled then started firing his rifle rapidly "they're coming!"
"Everybody! Unleash hell!" Ben yelled. Before the first marine even came thought the door the red haired army started firing throw the doors tearing holes for the snipers to fire while the marines scattered for cover.
From the ranks a shout emerged "Tank!" and without a second to think a blast came into the ware house hitting a car and sending a chunky rain of red into the crowds nearby. Cries of hatred and shock came in reaction and several anti tank rounds were sent out of the warehouse, one hitting the side of a building, exploding and sent several maimed marines into the ocean.
"Draw them in!" Ben shouted shooting a marine from a roof top
"Jeeps!" Yasopp yelled from the beams, and a few moments later several fifty caliber endowed jeeps swarmed the interior of the warehouse putting a spray of bullets into the front of the red haired defense.
One soldier from the red haired got sprayed with the blood of a fellow soldier and went into a frenzy like daze, charging from the cover and jumping onto a jeep, dropping a grenade down by the drivers feet, then when trying to jump off was shot threw the head.
The driver fumbled trying to grab the grenade and ran right into another jeep, then the grenade exploded ripping through the driver, and a piece of shrapnel hit the other jeep's gunner in the eye, tearing him from the gun, but trying to catch himself grabbed the gun, but feel out of the gun seat, causing his hand to slip onto the trigger.
"Screw you bastards! Squad fire!" a marine shouted and 20 marines rushed into the ware house firing randomly and got to the cars, both sides began firing over, under and threw the cars at each other. A few cars exploded sending pieces of people flying.
Before long a tank rolled through each side each side of the warehouse firing at the core of the defense.
"Now!" Ben yelled and all the red-haired's began firing heavy weapons at the right flank. The tank quickly went down due to Luffy firing several tank rounds into it.
The marines fled to regroup away from the right.
"Charge!" Ben shouted, and at once the red haireds jumped over the cars and ran deep into the enemy ranks

"Don't let them leave the warehouse!" Akainu Yelled down to his men, just then a bullet grazed his jacket. "All squads push back! charge!"
The remaining marines on the outside began to run towards the ware house, a few climbing onto the tank to gain a firing position only to be shot and killed halfway

"Law go now!" Zoro yelled from one of the gun windows.
"Got it" the bus started to roll away from the fight and out the new hole in the warehouse.
"Wahoo!" Luffy cheered from the gun while he fired again "I got the other tank!"
"Oi Usopp you got Chopper!"
"Yeah he's good" Usopp answered Zoro while he and chopper were on Sanji's bed, chopper hiding under the blankets scared.

Akainu, spotting the bus started moving towards it quickly "Mihawk, on me!"
Grunting Mihawk quickly cleaved through several red haired's. they quickly made it deep into the ware house, approaching the Bus but Ben and Yasopp quickly interrupted their charge.
"Die ants!" Akainu yelled firing at the two, who promptly took cover and fired back.
"How about you fuck off!" Yasopp yelled back
Akainu and Mihawk made quick eye contact. Akainu pointed towards a door in the back, Mihawk read the words on it then nodded and started to charge.
Yasopp spotted Mihawk first "shit their going for Shanks!" without hesitation Ben started running after Mihawk while Yasopp kept Akainu pinned.
Mihawk turned and blocked a bullet from Ben just barely, then ducked under Ben who tried to knock Mihawk in the head with his rifle but, Mihawk keeping his momentum spun and quickly slashed out, but Ben managed to jump over it and placed the end of his gun against Mihawk's Head.
"Stay the fuck away from him"
"Fuck!" Yasopp cried out as a bullet from Akainu's shotgun found its way into his stomach, tearing him backward and down.
Akainu quickly fired a second shot finishing Yasopp off than aimed towards Ben.
Reacting quickly Ben kicked Mihawk back and dove to the side firing at Akainu, but was out smarted and took three bullets to the torso. Luckily his aim wasn't outsmarted and he saw as his bullet blew a hole right into Akainu's skull. Ben turned upward just in time to see the end of Mihawk's sword racing towards him.

Slowly opening his eyes Shanks looked around. A bare room, that seemed to be sound proofed. A few machines lurking around him, a few needles connected to bags that were in his arms, and not much else. Suddenly plenty of noise, including guns and war cries was heard; he whipped his head towards the entrance just to see Mihawk entering and closing the door behind him.
"Hey babe, what the hell is going on?"
That stopped Mihawk in his tracks "What?"
"I asked what's going on out there, it sounds worse than our visit to Ireland"
"you called me babe…"
Shanks smiled "Right I forgot you don't like that, how about sexy?"
"um… what's the last thing you remember?"
Shanks frowned "uh, crazy anniversary sex after I gave you that cross. Speaking of which. I thought you weren't gonna take it off?"
Mihawk smiled slightly then frowned as he took a seat. "I ani't sure how to tell you this. But… uh well, you fell into a coma after a pretty bad fight. It's been a few years.

"fuck more marines!" Zoro yelled spraying bullets out the side of the bus while marines shot at them
"I got some worse news!" Luffy shouted "We got a tank!"
Suddenly the whole bus Shook and a explosion was heard just outside, "Fuck!"
Zoro looked to where Luffy was only to see flames engulfing the upper bus. Luffy hit the descend button and jumped off the seat, bleeding plenty. "The gun is destroyed" he coughed out.
Another explosion shook the bus
"We can't tank much more of this that Tank is blocking our path, we need to take it down" Law yelled from the front
"Get me closer!" Luffy yelled standing up and walking to the gun closet.
"you got it"
"What the hell are you thinking Luffy?" Zoro asked following him
"Not quite sure" Luffy responded grabbing as many grenades as he could hold and find places for. "But I don't think I'm coming back, cover me!" Luffy smiled brightly then opened the door
"Wait Luffy come back!" Zoro shouted after him, shooting the marines aiming at him, but the boy didn't listen. "Shit, Luffy!"
Law watched from the front camera as Luffy jumped onto the tank knocking out the gunner in one punch, then, keeping the hatch open took off a grenade and pulled the pin. It almost looked as if Luffy was about to jump off the tank after throwing the grenade in, but a bullet went through his legs. Luffy fell down onto the top of the tank, and seeing the grenade get thrown out, he crawled inside, closing the hatch. The tank soon erupted into flames
"Strawhat-ya… Okay the tank's down we are almost there!"

"Shachi Bring us up the captain is outside under attack!" Bepo yelled
"on it" Shachi replied
Penguin quickly climbed the ladder and as soon as they broke water he opened the door only to see a armored bus outside. The door of which quickly opened and a green haired man rushed out of it pushing a bed that held a blonde, a child and a long nosed teen. Soon after that Law came out yelling to open get the bed down to the infirmary.

*72 hours later*
"Japan" Zoro said to Law
"No, the navy knows you have roots there. Also they are the military force there"
"Germany" Usopp spoke up pointing to it on the map
Law leaned back into his chair and looked back and forth between the two "neither of you could blend in."
"Hey captain we found him!" Bepo announced descending the stairs into Laws room
"What the hell is this all about? Who the hell are you folks, oh… Zoro?"
Zoro looked up at the familiar voice "Zeff?"
"Good you two know eachother" Law said
"What the hell is this about, you have my son here?"
"Yes. He is in a Coma and yet to wake up. But since he can't stay on my sub forever we are looking for a place to put him and his son, along with these two." Law pointed to Zoro and Usopp. "Thought you might want to join them. Any ideas?"
Zeff put his chin in his hand for a second. "Take us to France"
"Hey captain, his signs are up, I think he is waking up" Shachi said from the door way
Zoro shot up and practically ran to Sanji's room, soon followed by Zeff and Law.

Sanji looked around at the unfamiliar faces "Who are you all?" he said slightly panicked then he heard the stomping of heavy boots, and looking towards the doorway he say a green haired man enter.
"Sanji? Oh my god your awake." The green haired man said
"I'm sorry, but who are you?"
That's when Zeff entered and Sanji instantly perked up "Dad, what the hell is going on?"
"You're in a hospital… of sorts, you were in a accident."
Soon Law entered carrying Chopper who squealed in delight "You're awake!" Chopper jumped onto the bed from Law's Arms
"Who's kid is this?" Sanji asked smiling "He is so cute"
Choppers heart broke and he started crying loudly
Law quickly went to the machines looking them over "Well I'm sure you all guessed he had amnesia, but he also isn't forming any new memories yet. I need to put him back under; his brain needs to heal more."
"Wait what?" Sanji asked
"Just do what you have to" Zeff said grabbing Chopper
"Sanji I just want you to know that I love you" Zoro said
"He won't remember anything that just happened Zoro" Law said bringing over a needle
Sanji watched from his bed as he slipped back away into a sleep. Soon the dreams of a talking deer, sword wielding Marimo and long nosed painters…

(20 years later)
Sanji finished writing down his shopping list, then took a final look around his beautiful French kitchen.
"Alright old man, I'm off to go shopping, and don't worry I'll go to the good store."
"Well good for you eggplant, see you soon."
Sanji grabbed his Wallet and tore off the shopping list and stuck it in his breast pocket in his suit and walked down the hallway, he stopped by his marimo tank to grab his keys. He looked above the tank at a painting he bought a few years back at a flea market. He left and walked down the street, deciding that he would rather walk.

He got into line for his favorite cashier, before long the cashier started ringing up his items
"Ah Sanji, how are you doing today?"
"Just fine Roronoa. Glad I caught you before your shift was over" Sanji looked up at the hat the cashier was wearing "Uh oh, didn't like this week's hair color?"
Roronoa laughed "ah not really, I don't think it fits me"
"Oh come on, you survived that pink hair fiasco, this color can't be any worse, take off the hat, let me see.
Roronoa frowned, his age lines showing clearer "fine fine" he took off the hat to reveal green hair, green as grass.
"Oh my" Sanji smiled showing his age lines "You are as green as my marimo's at home"
"See I told you, it doesn't fit me"
"no no, that's not what I meant, if anything it compliments you quite well" Sanji gave a little wink, and slide his card. Then signed on the pinpad. "Well have a good day Roronoa
"You as well Sanji" the cashier said handing over the receipt
Sanji smiled, placing the receipt in a bag and grabbed his things. On the walk home he bumped into a tall brown haired man, and had a nice little chat, apparently the boy was a doctor rushing back after his lunch break.
"Oi old man, im back!"
"Welcome back, have a nice outing?"
"Yes I did, you will never guess what color the cashiers hair is this time, green as marimo's!"
"Really?" Zeff asked quietly
"Yes, really, he seemed so shy about it to, I don't see why it is quite a fitting color for him."
"I bet"
"Oh and I met the nicest doctor on the street today, I sort of just bumped into him as he was rushing back from his lunch break, doctor tony or something. He works at that hospital just down the way"
Zeff lumbered into the kitchen where Sanji was, and he stroked his gray mustache. "What are the chances Sanji. What a day"
"yeah, you know I think I would've named my kid tony, if I ever had any, to bad about the accident though."
"Sanji, think really hard for a second. Can you remember anything from before the accident?"
Sanji started unloading his two bags "We have been over this, no I don't."
Zeff sighed, then he noticed the receipt and grabbed it, reading it
"What, worried about my diet now?" Sanji mocked starting to put things away.
"Sanji, you sighed this receipt"
"um yeah that's what you have to do"
"No Sanji, you sighed it blackleg."
"Well yeah, remember I had to change my name because…" Sanji dropped the jar he was holding. Within seconds he was running to the hospital.
He got inside and ran to the receptionist "Excuse me miss I need to know where doctor tony is!"
"Well he is on the third floor with a patient right now, if you'd like to wait I can-"
She didn't even get to finish her sentence before he was booking up the stairs…
For him it was like no time had passed, everything just started coming back all at once. Looking into each room he finally found the boy he was looking for "Chopper!" He called into the room, the doctor quickly spun around in pure shock and surprise
"D-dad?"
"Oh my god I've missed so much!" Sanji started to cry, looking at his boy all grown up.
"Dad!" Sanji rushed into the room and hugged his son, who was now much taller than him.
"Sanji?"
Sanji looked over his sons Shoulder to look at the patient
"Usopp?"
"Whoa I guess your memory really is back if you remember me. Wait till Zoro hears about this."
Chopper and Usopp nodded at each other, and suddenly the world around Sanji came down like a town of bricks. "Zoro…"
The younger men looked at him confused for a second
"dad you okay?"
"Sanji?"
"Zoro…" Sanji repeated… "green hair… Listen Chopper, I'll be back I have to g-"
Chopper just laughed causing Sanji to be quizzical "Just go already! You missed out on the four of us and a house already, go get him before any more time passes."
Sanji just nodded and ran to the store.

Zoro said goodbye to his coworkers as he left the store with his day's groceries. "See you all tomorrow"
He turned to start walking but a panting hunched over figure leaning against the wall caught his eye "Sanji? Did you forget something?"
Sanji simply held up one finger as in to wait.
Then took a few deep breaths then stood up looking his favorite cashier in the eye. "im sorry."
Zoro stood confused "About what?"
"Making you wait 20 years for this."
Without another second passing Sanji locked lips with an all too willing cashier.
When they finally parted they simply looked into each other's eyes and let the chemistry sparks fly
"Not another day will go bye without one of those." Sanji said "Now take me to your place, we got twenty years worth the sex to make up for."
