Raph knocks heavily on the door before trying to open it. When the door doesn't budge he hits it again before putting his forehead to it.

"Lana. Open the door."

Lana sits on the other side with her head on her knees staring at the floor.

"I want ta talk ta ya…ya know how hard that is fer me ta do."

Lana sighs and flips the lock before sliding into the room a few feet. She continues to sit with her head on her knees as Raph comes in and shuts the door behind him. He looks at her and sighs at her defeated expression. He cracks his neck before sitting on the floor in front of her but doesn't say anything. Lana stares at his chest and traces the grooves with her eyes.

"…Lana."

She glances up at him but doesn't say anything.

"…are you okay?"

She moves her head to nod before putting it back.

"Okay well that's a lie."

Lana nods again before letting a few tears escape her eyes.

"Shit Lana…"

He moves over to her and wraps a big arm over her shoulders. Lana leans into him before letting more tears fall. Raph looks down at her and shakes his head.

"I could kill him fer makin' ya cry."

"It's not him."

Raph sighs but doesn't say anything for a little bit.

"If I had known that was what you were goin' ta say I wouldn't have told ya to say anythin'."

"No I'm glad you did. This would have gone on for weeks."

"…I don't think we could have lasted a few more weeks of this."

Lana punches his shoulder with a choked laugh.

"…it figures I would tell him I loved him after basically telling him to leave me alone forever."

"It's Leo…he'll get over it. Hell, he'll probably go and meditate and think it's some part of our cosmic journey."

Lana chuckles through her tears and nods.

"True."

Raph chuckles back before his face falls.

"…did you mean it?"

"…ya I did. I've been trying to convince myself I don't love him since he left."

"Long time to hide your feelings."

"Coming from you?"

Raph grunts.

"We're not talkin' 'bout me"

"We never do."

Lana sits up and wipes her face before looking at him with still red eyes.

"I shouldn't have said anything."

"Betta now then later."

Lana shrugs.

"Debatable. I have to live down here for a little less than two months."

"Ya well ya fucked yerself up on that front, but it could get betta. Now that everythin' is out in the open you two can avoid each other."

"The lair is not that big."

"True but it will be now that both of ya don't want ta see each other."

Lana shakes her head.

"He's in charge of my training Raph."

"Then ya talk ta him tomorrow."

Lana shakes her head.

"No way."

"Ya know how many times I've come back thinkin' I could avoid him and end up talkin' to him? Trust me, it's betta to just get it over with."

He pats her leg before standing up and pulling her up too.

"Get some sleep."

"It's like 2 in the afternoon."

"I can tell yer tired."

"No you can't."

Raph points to her eye.

"Yer eyes get puffy. Now go lay down and sleep."

Lana rolls her eyes before climbing into the warm bed. Raph watches her before walking out of the room and heading down the stairs.

"You're still awake Raph?"

Raph gives Donnie a look and his younger brother just laughs.

"Is Lana okay?"

Raph nods to him and grabs a seat by his computer.

"Really?"

"Well I mean as okay as she can be."

"Ya I don't think any of us expected her to say that…"

"Well we've all said stuff we didn't mean in the heat of the moment."

Donnie nods and glances at Raph.

"True…"

"…but there's a difference between sayin' I hate ya, and I love ya."

Donnie sighs and looks at his brother.

"Are you okay?"

"I'm fine brainiac."

Donnie smiles slightly and shrugs.

"If you say so."

Raph nods and watches him work. Across the lair Mikey and Lexi is sitting on the skateboarding ramp watching Mikey do cool stunts. Eventually he stops and lands next to her with a giant smile. She smiles slightly back before focusing on something else.

"What's up dudette?"

Lexi sighs and looks at him seriously.

"What happened between Lana and Leo?"

Mikey makes a face before rubbing the back of his neck.

"That's not really for me to answer babe."

Lexi wrinkles her nose at the nickname before nodding.

"I was just curious because no one seemed surprised she told him she loved him."

Mikey shrugs.

"It's just one of those things I think we all knew but no one ever said. Mostly because Lana would kick our asses."

Lexi laughs and nods.

"Makes sense…"

Mikey looks at her and can see something bugging her.

"You okay?"

Lexi nods but cautiously looks up at him.

"…can I ask you something?"

Mikey nods with a smile.

"Were he and she…you know?"

Mikey makes a face before laughing.

"Involved?"

Lexi nods with a blush.

"Uh I'm not actually sure. She never said anything and he most definitely never said anything so it's anyone's guess."

Lexi nods slowly but is still blushing.

"Do you have another question? I'm here to answer girl."

Lexi smiles at him before making a face.

"Are you guys…how-ugh."

"What is it?"

Mikey looks at her closely and watches her play with her fingers.

"…how human are you guys?"

She asked so quietly he almost missed it. He starts laughing and watches as her face gets even redder.

"Mikey!"

Mikey stops himself and just smiles at her.

"Um minus the green skin, shell, and three finger situation, we're pretty human. Like we eat human food, you know, and we do other human things."

"I figured that but like anatomically you're…pretty human?"

Mikey smiles and nods with a wink.

"You know it."

Lexi smiles and laughs. With a blush.

"I can't believe I just asked you that."

"I'm surprised how long it took you, being a scientist and all. Lana asked like the second day of knowing us."

"Of course she did."

They both laugh and look over at Donnie and Raph. Lexi watches them and looks at Mikey again.

"What's the deal with Lana and Raph?"

"What do you mean?"

Lexi thinks it over before answering.

"Were they a thing before her and Leo?"

"No way. I always thought Raph liked her but she didn't like him like that. At least I don't think so. They're best friends though. He knows more about her than any of us do and when Leo was gone, Raph was the only one she would really talk to about anything."

"Oh really?"

"Like don't get me wrong dudette, she's like my sister, but Raph I think understood her better than us because they were going through the same stuff."

Lexi nods and looks at Mikey closely. His smile seemed a little forced talking about all of this,

"…are you okay?"

He smiles and nods.

"Of course. Nothing really bothers me for too long. The perks of being the cool turtle."

Lexi laughs and nods.

"Can't deny that."

He smiles at her and gets comfortable.

"Can I ask you something?"

Lexi nods with a smile.

"Of course."

"Well are you okay with being down here?"

Lexi shrugs.

"Well I mean I'm not happy some crazy stone lady is after me, but you guys are awesome so it's been fun so far."

"Okay good. I was worried you just pretended to like us…"

Lexi makes a face.

"No way dude. I never pretend to like people."

Mikey smiles at her word choice and shakes his head.

"That's a rare word to hear."

"What?"

"People."

Lexi's face drops and she looks confused.

"What do you mean?"

"Well most of the time we just get called freaks. Used to bother us, Raph the most, but we got over it.

"You guys aren't freaks."

Mikey laughs at the certainty in her voice.

"Oh we're not?"

"No way. You guys rock. End of story."

Mikey smiles and nods.

"Good to hear babe."

She smiles back before turning and lying on his plastron getting comfortable. She smiles at Mikey before shutting her eyes and resting. Mikey smiles at her before staring down at her hair looking over her peaceful face. He sighs and lies back getting comfortable too with his hands behind his head.
