A few days later Mikey walks into the kitchen with a yawn. Leo smiles slightly at his younger brother before going back to eating his breakfast.
"Are we training today?"
"Of course."
Mikey nods before sitting down. Don walks in with his coffee cup and sits with them sipping it quietly. Mikey watches them before filling his bowl with cereal and milk.
"Is Raph awake?'
"No idea."
Leo sighs and nods before standing up.
"Training is in 15 minutes."
They both nod and watch him walk off. Leo quietly walks through the lair before running up the stairs and walking over to Raph's door. He knocks loudly and waits a few seconds before hearing nothing. He goes to knock again but before he can the door opens slightly and Lana pops her head out.
"Oh-hey Leo."
He smiles slightly.
"Hey Lana. Is Raph up?"
"Um I'm not sure."
Leo raises a brow and looks at her.
"You don't know?"
"Well it's not like we say good morning to each other when we wake up."
Leo smirks and rolls his eyes. Lana smirks back and glances over her shoulder.
"…I'll see if he's up."
"Please do. We have training in ten minutes."
Lana makes a face and nods before disappearing into the room. Leo stares at the door but shrugs off the weird feeling and walks back downstairs. Lana quickly gets her cell phone and calls Raph.
"Hello?"
"Raphael where the hell are you?!"
"Calm down mom. I'm at Casey's.'
"Well you better get here in the next 10 minutes because you all have training."
"Fuck. Coming. Stall fer me."
'Ya."
She hangs up the phone and groans quickly putting her hair up and walking out of the room. Leo watches her come down the stairs. Lana looks away and heads into the dojo to start warming up. Mikey walks in after her and smiles at her before stretching like her.
"Where's Lexi?"
"Asleep in the lab."
Lana smirks at him but doesn't say anything.
"What?"
"Nothing."
"Mhm sure. It's never nothing with you dudette."
"You don't know me at all."
"Whatever girl."
Mikey smiles at her and watches as his two brothers walk in.
"Lana where's Raph?"
"Busy. He's coming?"
"What could he possibly be doing?"
Leo sighs and turns presumably going to get him. Lana makes a face before blurting out an excuse.
"I wouldn't do that."
Donnie and Mikey look at her before looking up at Leo. Leo raises a brow and waits for her to continue.
"And why not? If you're covering-"
"He's sick."
"…sick?"
Lana nods slowly before sitting down.
"Yep. He had some bad sushi last night…"
Leo makes a face.
"Sushi?"
"Mhm. I told him not to eat it but you know Raph."
"Wait so he's puking? I should-"
"Not puking…"
Mikey looks at Lana and suddenly rolls over with laughter.
"Dude! You're joking! This is too good to be true!"
Donnie laughs slightly and Leo rolls his eyes.
"…too much information."
"What is?"
Raph walks into the dojo and looks at all of them before holding a stare with Lana. She blushes and looks away.
"Sorry I was-"
"Hope the sushi didn't damage anything internally dude!"
"…sushi?"
Leo glances at Lana who nods.
"Ya I told them about you being sick…sorry."
"Oh."
"She told us you were shitting yourself dude."
Raph's face darkens and he looks at Lana.
"What?!"
Lana makes a face and Leo pats him on the shoulder.
"Come on let's just get started…if you're feeling up to it."
Mikey giggles and stands up walking over with Donnie. Leo chuckles and shakes his head before pulling his katana out. Lana stands up and Raph glares at her.
"That was yer idea of stallin'?"
"Better than Leo finding out about your nightly activities."
Raph pauses before looking down at her.
"…ya know?"
"I figured it out."
"How?"
"Not hard."
She shrugs to him and walks away. Raph watches her go before sighing and walking over.
"We're just going to spar today."
"Weapons?"
Leo nods and Mikey smiles pulling out his nun chucks. He spins them around before smirking at Lana. She rolls her eyes with a smile before walking over to the wall of weapons. Leo walks over to her and watches as she examines each of the blades.
"…katana?"
"You think?"
"That's what you've been training with so yes."
Leo pulls a short blade off the wall and hands it to her. She flips it in her hands and smiles as Leo looks impressed.
"Very good."
She smiles and walks away from him.
"Alright who's fightin' who?"
"Mikey and Raph, Lana and me."
Raph smirks and looks at his younger brother before pulling out his sai. Mikey smirks and shrugs.
"Ready to lose dude?"
"Don why don't you help out Mikey."
Don smiles and nods pulling out his bo staff. Raph looks at Leo annoyed before twirling his sai and dodging an attack from Mikey. Lana watches them before turning to Leo.
"Ready?"
He smirks and attacks. She jumps back in surprise before dodging a kick and striking forward. He moves out of the way making his katana clash with hers.
"Good."
She looks at him before flipping backwards and getting ready for an attack. Leo watches her and sees his brothers getting closer to their fight. Lana notices too and smirks before moving towards them.
"Lana-"
She quickly flips down and slides between Donnie and Mikey. They make a face at her before she stands and throws Mikey at Leo. Leo quickly catches him and makes sure he's okay.
"Dude what the hell?"
Lana smirks and looks at Donnie and Raph. The red banded brother lunges at Donnie who jumps out of the way but Lana grabs his bo-staff and throws him off balance enough to go into Leo. He growls as he catches another brother and looks up to find Lana but she's gone. Raph smirks and shakes his head.
"I win."
Leo doesn't move and sighs.
"No."
He flips over her head and kicks her back sending her rolling on the floor. She stops and looks up ready to fight but Leo's blade in her face makes her stop.
"…I win."
She sighs and nods before he helps her up.
"Distraction?"
"What's a better distraction than your brothers?"
"Ya next time let us know."
She looks at them sheepishly before looking over at Raph. He looks at her before putting his sai away and walking towards the door of the dojo.
"We're not done Raph."
He stops and looks over at Leo annoyed.
"Who's next?"
"Lana."
He nods and charges her. Lana jumps out of the way and looks at him in surprise.
"Geez Raph!"
Raph shrugs and pulls out his sai. Lana gets ready to attack but he throws his sai aside and charges her again. Mikey jumps out of the way as Raph tackles her to the ground and Donnie winces.
"Raph!"
Leo goes to pull Raph off her but Lana kicks his hand and rolls them over with a grunt. Leo makes a fist and glares down at the both of them.
"Worry about your own fight Leo."
Leo sighs and shakes his head before walking away. Lana looks down at Raph and raises a brow. Raph smirks and puts his hands behind his back.
"Ya know, I like you on top."
"Most people do."
Raph raises a brow and she smirks down at him.
"Don't get too cocky. The view isn't that great."
"Yes it is and you know it."
"You're ridiculous."
She moves and Raph groans. Lana rolls her eyes before punching his shoulder.
"Dick."
"You betta believe it."
She looks at her position and grimaces.
"You betta get off though. Leo might get jealous."
"Oops. Didn't notice."
"Leo did."
Lana rolls her eyes.
"We're just friends."
"Oh? So that talk went well?"
Lana shrugs.
"I guess."
"Did you talk about yer new boy toy?"
"Of course not."
"Then yer still inta each otha."
Lana shakes her head and rolls off him.
"No way."
"Trust me."
Lana frowns and stands up. Raph sighs and quickly flips up.
"Lana I-"
"Stop."
She looks at him angrily.
"You know sometimes you should keep your insights to yourself."
Raph narrows his eyes and points to his brothers.
"And you should learn how to cover for people betta."
She laughs humorlessly.
"Why? So you can continue with your nightly adventures?"
"You don't know what yer talkin bout."
She shrugs and puts the katana back.
"This isn't about me Lana."
She glares at him before walking towards the door. He growls and quickly picks up his sai following her.
"Lana."
She doesn't turn around and continues to walk up the stairs. Raph rolls his eyes before walking back into the dojo. Mikey smiles at him from a chokehold Donnie has on him.
"What'd you do this time?"
"Fuck you Mikey."
"Whoa touchy touchy."
Donnie lets him go and looks at Leo.
"Starting to think we can't get through one training session without someone leaving."
"You'd know all about leavin'."
Leo rolls his eyes and looks at Raph.
"Are you going to keep bringing that up?"
Raph shrugs before going to his punching bag. Mikey sighs and shakes his head before smiling at Leo and walking out. Donnie follows and Leo eventually does with only a glance at Raph on his way out. Lexi walks past in a large sweatshirt that reaches her middle thighs. She yawns as she puts her hair into a bun on the top of her head.
