Another original Thomas story, this time it's "Thomas and the Turkey" with added lines by tate310. Enjoy and comment.
Thanksgiving was fast approching on the Island of Sodor, and all the engines were excited for the big Thanksgiving feast that was held at the village.
Sir Topham Hatt came to Tidmouth Sheds.
"Thomas, you are to collect the Thanksgiving turkey for the feast." he said.
Thomas was excited and puffed away at once.
The other engines were cross. They wanted to take the turkey to the village.
Thomas puffed happily to Knapford Station, where Toby was waiting.
"Hello Toby!" said Thomas.
Toby looked worried.
"The villagers are snowed in." explained Toby. "You better get the turkey there fast, or else the feast will be canceled.
Thomas didn't want the villagers to miss their feast, but was worried about the snow.
"You should come too, just in case trouble happens." suggested Thomas.
Toby agreed to look out for Thomas.
The journey to the village became much more difficult when it began to snow.
Soon, it was snowing so hard, that Thomas and Toby couldn't see.
"We better stop here until the snow clears." said Thomas's driver.
"But what about the festival?" asked Thomas. "If the turkey doesn't get delivered, the festival will be canceled!"
Just then, they heard a whistle coming from the distance. It was Gordon!
"What's the problem?" asked Gordon's driver.
"We need to get the Thanksgiving turkey delivered to the festival." explained Thomas's driver.
"The track up-ahead is much clearer." replied Gordon's driver. "You better head up that way"
So Thomas and Toby set off.
Gordon's driver was right about the track being much clearer, and Thomas and Toby made it just in time!
The villagers clapped, and cheered, and clapped some more! They were excited to see their Thanksgiving turkey.
Sir Topham Hatt was very pleased.
"Well done Thomas!" he said. "You brought the turkey here on time, and with some help as well. You are both really useful engines!"
Thomas and Toby smiled.
The Thanksgiving feast was a huge success! Everyone was very happy, and were all very pleased.
