I am really sorry I haven't updated in a month I really am. I always have an excuse and I am sure you either don't believe me or you just don't care but this time I have a lot of them. Just finishing school (Which I did. I AM DONE SCHOOL!) I am dealing with emotional problems...I just can't seem to stop crying..I just eh. Just leave it at that. And lastly A family member passed away...So I am also dealing with that. Anyway here's the chapter,
Tris
I stand outside by the tracks waiting for the train to come. Tobias doesn't know I'm about to leave, I didn't want to wake him up so I just left a note.
I can hear the train in the distance, it should be here in about five minutes. "So you think you can leave without saying goodbye." A strong yet soft kind voice says.
"I didn't want to wake you." I say. He wraps his arm around my waist.
"You should have. A note isn't going to make me miss you any less." Tobias says and kisses my neck.
"I know. But it would hurt less for me..I think."
"You would regret it."
"Maybe. But you're here now."
"Yeah. And the train will be any second."
"Can't you just ride the train with me."
"I wish." I really don't want to leave him. But it will be good. Right?
I feel like I am sticking out with all this White. Black and White: Candor colors but I am wearing more white.
"Where are you going first?"
"Candor. Can't you tell. The white."
"Oh yeah huh. You look good. No, I look out of place, and I feel out of place."
"Just wait until you get there."
"Oh god you're right. This is going to be awful!"
"It might. But it will have its good parts."
'Like seeing you after every faction."
"That and maybe you will meet some new people. Or see your parents."
"Yeah." I see the train coming the light beaming down the tracks coming closer and closer. I don't want to leave him, but I don't have a job, and I want to see my parents.
I can smell the train smoke and hear the engine running, the whistle blows as the lights get closer and closer. Tobias turns me to face him, I stare in his eyes, I know I am going to miss him, I already am. His strong embrace, his scent, the way he looks at me: soft, yet stern, and love. You can see the love in his eyes. His beautiful blue eyes. "Don't go getting any other boyfriends." He says.
"I wont. If you don't get any other girlfriends."
"I promise I wont." He smiles down at me. The first few train car push by us. 30 seconds. He gives me a tight strong hug, I feel my eyes start to water up and a lump in my throat, I don't want to cry, I hate crying. He pulls away and looks me in the eyes, he wipes away a tear I didn't know had escaped. "I love you Tris."
"I love you." Tobias presses his lips to mine. I am going to miss the feel of his lips on me. He pulls and way and steps aside. I start to run along side the train.
"See you soon!" He yells.
"See you soon! I love you!" I yell and jump on the train. I don't think he heard me. In the early morning light the sun is just beginning to rise, no one is up right now, it's barely 4 AM. The sun has a soft yellow-orange as it rises. I can barely see Tobias form as he stands watching the train go by. When he is long out of sight I sit down letting my feet dangle out the door of the car.
Soon I will arrive at Candor, I will blend in with them only few will know I am not true-ly Candor, but the rest will think I am one of them.
When I finally get to Candor It's 4:30 AM. There are three people outside the doors of Candor waiting for me. I stand up and jump off the train, I make a perfect Dauntless landing. I walk over to them, two girl and one guy.
"Hello Tris. I'm Linda. This is Ruby, and Leo." One of the women says. She has dark hair that ends at her shoulders. She wears a Black skirt with a white button up shirt and a black blazer, I don't know how she can stand walking in those shoes. Black glossy high heels. I hate heels.
"Hi." I say and shake their hands.
"So your name here isn't going to be Tris, you'll be called Alexandra. Or Alexa for short." The other women says. She has a soft kind look to her, she is much younger than the other. (Linda) Her hair is brown long past her shoulders in curls. She wears a Black and white dress with some simple black flats like mine.
"Okay. I can remember that."
"Leo will show you where you're going to be staying and where you can do your work." She says.
"Alright."
"Right this way Miss." He says and we walk leaving Ruby and Linda behind.
"So are you excited to be here in Candor?"
"Not really."
"Why's that?"
"I like Dauntless."
"That's understandable, I mean you did choose that faction."
"Yup."
"So you have a boyfriend there?"
"Wow getting a little personal aren't we."
"Sorry. I'm just trying to find out more about you. And I take that as a yes. Is it serious."
"Stop asking questions. And yes it is."
"Nice. Okay so this is where we usually eat, you can eat anywhere you want but normally everyone is in here. And if you will follow me, over here is where we all meet and where we learn the truth about people. You will not have to go under for any reason. And is for some reason you do then we can help you out of it."
"Okay. Thanks I guess."
"And this is where you're going to be staying. It's small but it's enough for one person."
"It's fine. Thanks."
"Here is a schedule for when we eat and other activity's." He says and hands me a slip of paper.
"Thanks."
"I will be back in a few hours to see how everything is going. Feel free to explore. This is your faction anyway." He says with a smile and leaves.
One thing I hate about Candor. They are so nosy, and they don't know when to stop asking questions or when to shut up.
My room is really small. A bed a closet, dresser, night stand, and a small bathroom. I open the dresser and find it filled with clothes, in the closet are some shirts and dresses, and on the floor of the closet is a line of different shoes. They really have stocked me up, I could live here forever, but I don't want to. I want to be home. In Dauntless. With Tobias.
I hope you all like this chapter! I did not revise to and do all the spell check stuff I really just want to get this up for you all so I can update my other story. So tell me of there is something that doesn't make any sense or any spelling errors or if you feel a word my be missing.
