I looked around to see if there's any movement which I think it is going pretty awkward by the moment. Since I was assigned in the computer along with Kid, robin, Aqualad and Artemis.

Miss Martian link us up. Kaldur says in his mind. (Italic means in their thought)

Everyone online? Megan asks.

Ohhh This is weird. Artemis says.

And Distracting. Coding an algorithm virus in a kiddie computer with less ram than a wristwatch is hard enough. Now I have to hear teen think in my skull? Dr. Rocquette covers her ears, making us think that she is distracted by us.

Lady do always complain when tries to help you? Kid asks while eating a chocolate.

Pot, kettle. Have you met? Artemis says.

Woah, Woah. I have to admit that you guys are so annoying and it's torturing my brain! I yelled in my thought and crossed my arms.

Robin puts a hand in my shoulder. How about I go help Miss Martian and Superboy patrol the perimeters? Artemis says and we all nod.

You might wanna cut her some slack. It was her arrow that saves your butt against Amazo. Robin reminded him.

What? That was Speedy's. I mean, Red Arrow's right? He asks.

Not so much. I say.

Hmph. Still not giving her the statisfaction. Kid says.

You know I can still hear you. Artemis says.

Ahhh! Kid yelled.

I couldn't get the Justice League. Dr says and she rubs her eyeglasses.

The virus won't be so much of use if we cannot find the weapon. Can you track it? Kaldur asks.

My utility fog is not a weapon. It's science, brilliant science. And of course I can track it, but I have to go online. Might as well rent a billboard with this address and assassinate me written in neon. She says and goes back typing at the computer.

Kaldur puts a hand on her shoulder to assure her that we will protect her. We will protect you. He says calmly.

She presses the enter key and it shows a big earth scanning the fog. Tracking the fog now.

I take a look and sits down to concentrate. So let me guess, we'll just wait a couple of minutes for the assassins to arrive right? Kaldur nods.

I closed my eyes and I am concentrating on finding a strong energy source. Just don't disturb me. I saw Robin nod and continues. My eyes glowed white and I nothing. I waited for another minutes and still nothing.

I open my eyes, disappointed of what I can do. Sorry, Aqualad. Still nothing but I'm gonna try later though. Kaldur just nod and turns to the doctor.

Miss Martian, has located the fog. Reconfigure the bioship so that Robin and Superboy can pursue.

Ready. I heard her say. Kid walked outside to see if there was someone outside. I steady myself in the corridor and thought about the red haired archer. He thinks he's so cool and he has everything. I hate those kinds of guys.

I stopped, feeling a very strong energy. I could hear a blade about to toss at the Doctor. Aqualad quickly takes the blade and says. "Doctor get down!"

She looks up and I pulled her down, telekinetically. Kaldur takes another batch of those blade things and the assassin makes her way inside, wearing a mask.

"Ohh, That had to hurt." She says and pursues at Kaldur.

"Are you okay?" The Doctor nods and continues to stare at them fighting.

The Assassin makes her way to us and I kicked her in the stomache. She groans and Kaldur continued their fight.

She punched him and she throws a blade at her. "Polaris!" I quickly swayed it. "Almost." She says.

The Doctor yelped and the assassin continued to fight him. I teleported to her back and punched her face. She quickly grabs my hand and kicks me, bumping to the tables.

"Ow." I say and get up. She knocked Kaldur and was about to throw another sai to the doctor. The sai was thrown away by an arrow.

"Don't move." She approaches to her, her bow ready. I crawled down and stood up, same with Kaldur, his water swords ready.

"Heh. This gig's getting interesting." She says and took out her sword. Artemis starts to shoot arrow and she defends herself, arrows flying.

I held my hand in the air to stop some arrows that are about to hit the Doctor. Miss Martian and Kid arrive and she eventually took out her smoke bombs and she was gone.

I looked around and saw that she is indeed gone. "Gone." I simply say.

"She's getting away! You're letting her get away!" The Doctor yelled at Aqualad.

"This is all your fault! You were on perimeter! How'd that shadow get in?" Kid asks and points at Artemis, practically blaming her for everything.

She just gives him a look and Megan says, "That's not really fair. I was outside too."

Kid says. "Outside being distracted by her." He looks at her then looks at Megan. "Besides I can't be mad at you."

He continues, You gave me mouth to mouth.

We heard that! We all yelled.

"Dang it!" Kid says and he leaves.

"I didn't do half as well during my first battle. And I know you can't have been Green Arrow's sidekick for very long." Megan says to her.

I approach Artemis and put a hand on her shoulders, "It's okay. People make mistakes, it's part of life."

"Focus everyone. The Shadows will be back." Kaldur says as we turn to his attention.

"Robin to Aqualad. We're over Philadelphia. We've locate the Shadow's next target, Star Labs." There was a small pause. "We're too late. It's destroyed, totally destroyed. The fog decimated it. This is bad."

We looked at each other but Robin continued, "Star Labs is cutting-edge science. And now their secrets are in the hands of the enemy. What's our next move?"

Kaldur looked at the Doctor. "Rescan for that fog. Find it. We're moving the Doctor."

I lean on the wall and concentrating on finding the assassin's energy. And there is still none. I open my eyes and still we were in the café and the doctor is busy finding the fog. Also, Artemis and Kid are always glaring.

Stop it. Both of you. Kaldur says.

What? They both said.

I can hear you glaring. Kaldur says. I sit on the ground and try to concentrate again. I close my eyes and I could feel three new energy and they are fast.

"They're here!" I quickly said and someone burst in the door. It's a red suited guy. Okay, maybe a spider or something?

Kid pursuits and he launches a kick. The mysterious guy dodges it and shoots a web. I knew it was a spider guy.

Another guy burst in with a hook in his hand and Artemis shoots some arrows at him. I raised some tables and launches at him and he dodges and punches but I held him in the air.

"Don't stop working." Artemis said calmly and continues to shoot. The guy hesitates and launches his hook which has chains.

The pain strikes hard but he got hit by one of Artemis's arrow. I looked at Megan and she transforms back to her normal posture.

"We've been duped!" She says and I smirked.

She hovers in the air and back to her costume. I stood up, also at her side. "You'll never find her." I say.

"Never's such a long time. Pursuing target. Keep them busy." She says and she went outside.

"Pursuing their leader. Take the rest down." Artemis says.

Kid kept on fighting the spider guy. "You are so not the boss of me."

"Just do it." Then the guy climbs on his back and starts to punch his head.

I pushed telekinetically the guy and head towards the door. "I'll follow them. See ya!"

I run and teleports to the internet café. I looked around and saw the assassin almost killing the doctor. I prepared my energy balls to fire.

"Stop it!" I yelled and she turns around. "One more step and I swear I'll shoot you with these." The energy getting bigger and she pushes her.

"Lucky for you my orders are clear. You live to program another day. After all Doctor, The shadows may have another use for you." She says and looks at me. "Maybe next time."

I cooled off and she walks towards the door. She leans in, "You have gotten stronger. They are so proud of you." She says and her words were like dagger to my ears.

I stood there frozen, unable to say something. What does she mean? Who's they?

"Polaris!" Kid wakes me from my thought. "Come on!"

I shake my head and followed him outside. We found Artemis with her bow and a mask on the ground. Did she kill her?

"Artemis where's the assassin?" Kaldur says and I helped him along with the Doctor. He's badly hurt.

"She—She got away." She replies.

Kid appears on our side. "Woah, Woah. From you? Oh big surprise. Notice? We got ours." Miss Martian appeared two of the bad guys tied with chains.

"Cool Souvenier." Kid says happily and picks the mask. I wonder what happened?

"Her mask? Did you see her face?" Kaldur asks.

"It was dark."

"It is fine. Superboy and Robin neutralized the fog and the Doctor is safe. Thanks in no small part of you. Welcome to the team." We approached her and they shake hands.

"I've always wanted two sisters here on earth." Megan smiles and puts a hand on her shoulder.

I elbowed Kid. "Ow! Yeah. Welcome." He says and they shake hands.
