Chapter 16: Letter M and W

Hey, Hey, Hey! I have read some of the answers to the poll! Mostly they picked Red Arrow! We'll just see if he and Dani clicked!

So this chappie will be about Malaya and Dani's meeting and she also get to meet Wally West! Haha! Wonder what's Wally's reaction? Also Dick is gonna meet him too?

We will just see then!

Gotham City

August 16, 2010, 2:00 EDT

"Hey, Dani." Dick greets me with a smile. I smiled back and arranged my books. Gotham Academy is still the same and it's a good thing that school is done and finally I can visit my friend, Malaya.

"Hey, Dick." I closed my locker door and Dick followed. "What's up? Sorry about the whole project thing on the other day."

Dick laughed. "That? Forget about that. I was okay with it. Besides I already finished it."

I stopped and looked at him in disbelief. "Woah, really? You're so good."

Dick smirked liked he's blushing or something. "You know what? Let me make it up to you. One favour in exchange for ditching you."

He raised his eyebrows. "1 favor?" I nod.

"Well then, how about I give you a grand tour all over Gotham City? It's gonna be fun. No cars." He offered his hands.

I checked my clock first. "Wait, I can't not right now. How about the other day instead?"

"Why? Too busy?"

I nod. "I have to meet my friend in Central City."

Dick's eyes grew big. "Central City. I'll go."

I walked towards the door. "What? You're like Bruce's Wayne's prize possession. You can't be wondering the streets saying, Hey dude! I'm Bruce Wayne's son!"

Dick laughs again and it's really cute. "Don't worry. I'll fit in."

Central City

August 16, 2010, 4:00 EDT

"Welcome to Central City." A voice said over the speaker as the train doors opened. Dick and I went out and walked to the outside gates of the Subway.

Central City's streets are so clean like totally clean. No traffic if you asked me. "Woah, This is like the cooler version of Star City's streets." I say, enjoying the view.

"You've been at Star City? When?" Dick asks.

Oh-Uh. It slipped from my mouth. "What? No! C'mon my friend's been waiting at Central City High."

We speed up and run the streets until we could reach Central City High. The school is quiet and some students are going home.

"Dani?" I turned around and saw a black medium haired girl, wearing her civies clothes. Her Chinese eyes were really cute.

I hugged Malaya and we smiled each other. "Malaya! How are you?" I turned around to Dick who was just beside me. "By the way, this is Dick Grayson, my classmate."

She smiled and they shake hands. "Nice to meet you Malaya. Dani has told me everything about you."

"That's so cool. How about you guys stay at the waiting area and I'll just go inside to grab my stuff?" We nod and sat at one of the stool and wait for her.

"So, how did you and Malaya meet?" Dick asked and did not look at me.

"Through the scholarship. She was one of the first people I have met." Dick nods and Malaya made her way and she brought a boy with her.

"Boyfriend?" Dick asks as we try to see the guy.

"Maybe." We glanced at each other.

We stood up and I give another look on the guy. He is Wally West. "No way." I muttered and Dick gives me a look.

"I mean, is he your boyfriend?" I asked her.

She blushes hard, causing her cheeks to be deep red. "No! This is Wally West, my friend."

Wally smiles hard and winks at me. "Bestfriend. Malaya didn't tell me that she has a beautiful friend."

He offers his hand and it was a long shake. Dick grabbed my hands and his arm was around me. "Yeah, I know that. She's my girlfriend."

"What?!" I stared at Dick who is still smiling proudly. Malaya and Wally's eyes were huge.

"Dani! You didn't tell me!" Malaya says happily and she was clapping her hands, proudly.

"I didn't have to!" I laughed fakely and Wally isn't smiling proudly like Malaya. Like he suspected something.

"Yeah. We better go." Dick quickly grabbed my hands and we went to the subway and went inside the train.

"What the fudge was that?" I yelled at Dick as we made our way to Uncle John's apartment. It was already 5 and Uncle is gonna kill me or Hal can kill me.

"Nothing." Dick says happily and puts his hands on his pocket. His black duffel bag was swaying sideways.

"You just said that in front of Malaya and her friend!" I yelled once again. "You are so unbelievable!"

I speed off and went to the apartment and ignoring Dick all the way.
