Hey, Hey, Hey! Guyssss, It's been so long! So anywho, I got superbusy because of the Zumba competition and we get to be ZOMBIES!

So who have seen the Flash episode 1? Because I haven't seen it yet! Is it good?

So here is finally chappie 17!

Mount Justice

August 19, 2010, 19:39 EDT

We are all gathered at the Cave, watching Kaldur and Superboy spar. Two days after that "incident" Malaya and Wally. Not to mention with Dick. He is so annoying.

I crossed my arms and Robin is missing. Oh yeah, I forgot that he has this patrol thing with Batman. Robin is much better than Dick. Too bad he's not here.

Initiate Combat Training

Superboy is not wearing any t shirt as he and Kaldur prepare to fight. They lunged forward and attacked.

"Kaldur's, uh nice. Don't you think? Handsome. Commanding. You should totally ask him out." Artemis says, her hands on her waist.

"Artemis, Kaldur's like a pure big brother material." I say, still watching the boys spar. "What about you Megan?"

"I agree with Dani. He is a big brother to us." Megan says, agreeing to my point. She raises her eyebrows. "You know who would make the cutest couple?

"You and Wally!" I answered and we looked at Wally. And he is chewing a snack and loud too.

Megan continued, "You're so full of passion and he is so full of…. Ah,"

"It?" We laughed.

Superboy and Kaldur yelled and he was on the ground.

"Fail Aqualad." The computer said. Kaldur was already on the ground. Superboy did a good job. Ever since he has been getting lessons from Black Canary, he has been improving. I have been telling Hal about training with Black Canary. He changed the topic quickly.

"Black Canary taught me that." Superboy said and helped Kaldur up.

I looked up and saw Red Tornado hovering down. Kid quickly went to him. "Do you have a mission for us?"

We gathered around Red. "Mission assignments are the Batman's responsibility." I hate it when he says that. It just seems that Batman is the only person on the earth who can do it. Stupid.

"Yeah. Well the Batman's with the Robin doing the dynamic duo thing in Gotham. But you're headed somewhere right? Hot date or a mission?"

I facepalm myself. Sometimes Wally is so dumb. "If we can be of help." Kaldur offered.

Red turned around and typed something on the holographic computer. A couple of holographic screens appeared, showing an old man in a suit with a cane.

"This is Kent Nelson, a friend. He is 106 years old." Red said.

"I knew him. My brother told me about him. He is Doctor Fate, the sorcerer supreme." I say.

Red looked at me and agreed. "She is right." He continued. "He has been missing for 23 days. Kent was a charter member of the Justice Society. The precursor to your mentor's Justice League."

Kent's civilian form changed into Doctor Fate. Hal says this guy is pretty strong and he says the Justice League is very lucky to have him. Well we are certainly lucky if we can find him.

"Of course. Dani's right. He was earth's sorcerer supreme. He was Doctor Fate." Kaldur agreed.

Kid scoffs. "More like Doctor Fake. Guy knows a little advanced and "dumbledores" it up to scare the bad guys and impress the babes."

"Don't think so. He is a close friend to our family and he does do magic. Not fake if you ask me." I argued and crossed my arms. "But where could he be? That's why my uncle hasn't heard of him for days."

"Kent may simply be on one of his whereabouts. But he is the caretaker of the helmet of fate. The source of the doctor's mystic might. And it is unwise to leave such power unguarded."

Megan speaks, "He's like the great sorcerer priest and priestess of Mars. I would be honoured to help him find him."

"Me too!" Kid raises his hand. I raised my eyebrows. First he says Uncle Kent is fake then he agrees he is honoured to help him? This guy is definitely up to something.

He continued, "—So honoured I can barely stand it. Magic rocks." He gestures the sign of rock in his hands.

"Take this. It is the key to the tower of fate." He hands Kaldur the key. This is gonna rock. I am finally going to the tower! Awesome!

Salem

August 19, 2010, 20:22 EDT

"So wally, when did you first realize your honest affinity of sorcery?" Artemis is sitting on Robin's seat while I am sitting on the side. I glanced at Wally and waited for his answer.

A sharp pain enters my brain and I start to stumble. No one seems to notice me and I went to the back. I grunt and the pain won't stop.

Then a vision appears. Uncle Kent Nelson was there. Same clothes and smiling at me. I looked around and it is darkness. Where am I?

I looked at myself and I am wearing the same clothes. Combat boots, black jeans, pink t shirt and black jacket and my bag is tied on my waist. Nothing happened and I touched my hair. Light brown but tied on a ponytail.

"Uncle Kent? Where the heck am I?" I said urgently.

He has no cane and I am scared a bit if he is gonna fall down. But he didn't.

"Don't be scared dear. I am sorry if I didn't make it to your programs. I know how you want me there." He says.

I peak a smile. "It's okay, Uncle. I truly understand. Hal has told me about you're whereabouts. Have you find auntie yet?"

He shakes his head. "Sadly, no. But I am here to warn you about your visit at the tower of fate. There are people that you are about to meet."

The vision starts to blurry. "Uncle wait!"

"Take care dear and give my regards to your uncle and brother." Then he was gone. I open my eyes and went back to my seat. We were still in the bioship and as if nothing had happened. That was weird. First time that I encountered a vision.

"We're reached Tornado's coordinates." Megan said. "But—"

"Nothing's here. Take us down." Megan landed the ship calmly and we got out. Maybe I should tell them about Uncle's warning in his tower. But I am confused. If we are in his domain then he has no trouble in handling outsiders, right?

I am sensing magic. We searched everywhere and we couldn't find the tower. I held out my hand and my hands glowed white. I can sense magic but no tower.

"Nothing." I say.

"This isn't simple camouflage." Kid agreed.

"So what do you think? Adaptiive micro-opto- electronics combined with phase shifting?" Artemis suggested.

"Absolutely." He says and Megan went to his side. "—Not. Clearly mystic powers are at work here."

I rolled my eyes and waited for something. "A test of faith. Get behind me." Kaldur says.

He steps forward and inserts the key. The tower appeared and it is bigger than it looks. We were all open mouths.

We went inside and suddenly the door was gone. "Uh, where did the door go?" Superboy asked.

We glanced around and it is gone. A hologram of Uncle Kent shows up. "Greetings, you have entered with a key. But the tower does not recognize you. Please state your purpose and intent."

Kid steps forward without notice. "We are true believers. Here to find Doctor Fate."

He did not respond but gives him a worried look. The door crumbles and they went straight to the lava. "No!" I yelped. Think dani think!

I held them using my telekinesis and they were frozen. They were heavy, I gotta say. "Guys, can't hold you much longer." I said.

Suddenly, I was trapped in a cage and my powers weren't active. Gladly, they caught to the sides. But it could not last any longer. "Guys? Sorry, there was a cage."

"It is alright, Dani." Kaldur yelled. "Are you alright?"

"Yeah." I yelled. I looked around for something but there wasn't any to look at. "Uncle Kent, what gives? You know me and maybe this is my first time but why didn't you allow me to help them?"

A hologram of Uncle Kent shows up. "I know, dear Dani. You are very kind and lucky that I knew you. But helping your friends will not teach them a lesson. And they lied."

"I know Uncle but you have to hear me out."

"I want to hear the reason from them not you." The hologram dissipates. Great. I am so useless right now.

"Having trouble mainting altitude." I heard Megan say. "I'm so hot."

"You certainly are." Kid says.

"Guys? Better do something or else you'll get eaten by the lava." I remind them.

"Hello Megan! We never truly answered the question." She says and speaks loud. "Red Tornado sent us to see if Mr. nelson and the helmet were safe." The cage opened and I quickly teleported to them.

"This platform it should be red hot. But it is cool to touch." Kadur says. He looks at me. "How come you weren't with us down?"

"I told you guys. Uncle Kent is a friend to my family but when I tried to help you. He puts me in a cage and wants you guys to learn your lesson."

Kid puts an arm around Megan. "Don't worry, Meganlicious. I got you."

"Enough!" Artemis snapped. She pushes him away from her. "You're little "impress Megan at all costs" game nearly got us all barbecued."

He argues. "When did this become my fault?"

"You kinda lied." I say.

"You also called yourself a true believer." Artemis added.

"Wally… You don't believe?" Megan asked.

He looks at us. "Fine! Fine! I lied about believing in magic. But magic is the real lie, a major load."

"Wally, I studied for a year at the conservatory of sorcery in atlantis. The mystic arts created the skin icons that power in my water bearers." Kaldur says and still touching the platform.

"Dude, you ever hear of bioelectricity? Hey in primitive cultures. Fire was once considered magical too. Today it's all just bunch of tricks."

"You're pretty close minded for a guy who can break the sound barrier in his sneakers." Artemis added.

"That's science. I recreated Flash's laboratory experiment and here I am. Everything can be explained by science."

"Let us test that theory." Kaldur opens the door, revealing another portal.

"That's so cool!" I say.

"Do you ever get tired of being wrong?" Artemis says. We jumped out and the door was gone. We looked at wally, "Well?"

"Ever hear of string theory? We're in a pocket dimension."

"Ugh!"

"What's that?" Megan pointed a cane and it is floating in mid air.

"Ohh, it's Nelson's magic wand." Artemis and Wally took it and said in unison. "I got it! I can't let go!" They were both hovered in mid air and they were gone.

"Well that was something." I say and we just looked at each other. We continue to walk the empty and cold place and it's a good thing that I have my jacket.

"I don't understand Wally. It's almost like he needs to believe the impossible can't happen." Megan says.

"Wally uses his understanding of science to control what he cannot comprehend. Acknowledging the existence of magic would be to relinquish last vintage of control."

I nod agreeing to Kaldur and we heard a creaking of the door. We followed the door.

We went inside and I got dropped to the ground. "Ow!" I saw Kent, Wally and Artemis. They all looked fine.

"Friends of yours?" Kent said and someone zapped. They dodged. "Friends of yours?" Wally asks him. Abra Kadabra zaps again and we instantly dodged. Another lightning launches at us and I make a big white shield.

I glanced at Wally, who was with Uncle Kent. Uncle Kent tapped the bell and it glowed. They went inside and Klarion followed. Totally a bad idea.

"Dani!" Instant pain got through me and Abra was constantly hitting us with his electricity. My vision were blurry for a bit and the others were fighting him.

I looked at them and they were in a force field of electricity. I summoned white energy balls and hit it at Abra. He blocks it and puts me in a force field.

"Ahh!" We all screamed as the pain enters in our body. I concentrate on Wally and whispered, "Wally! Do something!"

Abra looks at us as if he has won a lottery. I could feel that someone has put on the helmet of fate. No, wally.

"Ahh!" The electricity is still surging in my body and within minutes, my energy will dissipates. I concentrate hard and my eyes were glowing.

"Enough!" The force field bursts out and I was hovering mid air. "Stop it, magician." I say but I could feel my energy is bursting out. I hold him using my white energy beam.

The others force field were gone and at the same time Doctor Fate arrives. "I will handle this one, dear." He waved his hand and I lose my energy and dropped myself on the ground. Kaldur quickly caught me.

"Shows over." Superboy says and punches him.

Artemis rushes to my aid and checks on me. "You okay, Dani?" I simply nod.

"She is tired of losing much energy." Kaldur says. "We will go back to the cave immediately."

So guys what do you think? Kent Nelson is kinda like an uncle to Dani because of John Stewart and Hal's close relationship to him. This is the explanation, if some of have questions, don't be afraid to ask me!
