A/N I know it's been a while. I've been busy! school started so that is my main cause of not writing! Now oh my god guys after this chapter there will be one more! OH MY GOD! ONE MORE CHAPTER! ONE MORE! :O

Tobias

I pace back and forth while Tris is in the shower, I don't know when I decided I would do this. It's going to be tonight, I'm going to do it. I reach my hand in my packet feeling for the small box, making sure it's still there. The the soft velvety box meeting with my fingers I wrap my hand around it, I take it out of my pocket and open it. There lay a small diamond ring, there is a small diamond with lots of tinier diamonds around it, I know she will like it.

If she says yes that is.

"Tobias." Tris calls from the bathroom I put the box back in my pocket and walk over to the door.

"Yeah?"

"Can you grab me a towel?"

"Yeah." I walk into our room and grab her a towel. "Here." I say, she opens the door and takes the towel.

"Thanks." I walk over to the couch and sit down, this will be her last week and she will be seeing her parents, maybe she can show them the ring. Tris walks out of the bathroom and stands next to the couch. "Hey, you read to go? Have to tell Max what's going on."

"Yeah, let's go." I get up and grab her hand, I remember the first time she held my hand was after Zeke and I had caught her with Uriah, Marlene, and Lynn, shooting a muffin off Marlene's head.

"What are you thinking about?" She says looking at me confused.

"Nothing." I say as we climb the stairs. When we reach the top we walk down the hall and knock on the door.

"Come in." We walk in and she smiles when seeing us. "Tris, Four. So good to see you both.

"I have new about Erudite." Tris says and sits down in a chair, I sit in the chair next to her.

"You do?"

"Yes. Jeanine want's to control all the factions with a mind control serum, but there is at least half the Erudite faction that wants her out! I was talking with the rebel leader there and we think if we can get all the factions to get her out then we will be good. The Erudite has come up with so many serum's that can help all the faction and the factionless! Jeanine wont let them go out, she doesn't want to help the factions she wants to control them." Tris says, Max sits there looking surprised and worried.

"You are sure about this?"

"Very!"

"Well than we must act fast. I still want you to go to Abnegation though, that okay right?"

"Yes that is fine."

"Thank you for your help Tris, I knew you could do it."

"No problem."

"I'm going to pull a team together and I want you to talk to the Abnegation about this, Come back in 39 minutes and I will tell you what our plan is."

"Alright."

"Thank you again Tris." She nods and we both get up and walk out of his office.

"Do you think we can get her out of there?" I ask her, not really sure how anything can work. Jeanine has her ways and she can see an attack coming from miles away.

"Yes. I do, if all the factions agree to getting her out of leadership than yes I think we can."

"That sounds like that would work."

"Let's not talk about this, I have to be back here in 30 to get the plan, so I just want to spend this time with you." She says stepping in front of me, she puts her hands on my chest and fumbles with the collar of my shirt.

"I agree," I lean down and kiss her lightly, I need to find the perfect time to do this, I just don't know when. I haven't planed anything I just know that I'm going to ask her.

We walk down the stairs and walk around the pit window shopping. "Look!" Tris says and runs to a jewelry shop.

"What is it?"

"Let's look around in here." She walks inside, this is where I got her ring. The women behind the counter smiles at me, I nod. Tris looks in the display cases. "Hey come here look." I walk over and she points to a ring, the one that I got her. "Isn't it beautiful!" She says smiling.

"Would you like to see it?" Lindsay the shop keeper asks.

"Can I?" Tris looks wide-eyed and smiles.

"Of course," She says and takes the ring out, and hands it to Tris. Tris puts the ring on her finger.

"Look it looks amazing! Buy it for me?" Tris says with a playful smile, I stand behind her and wrap my arms around her waist.

"Anything for you." I say and kiss her neck. Tris hands the ring back to Lindsay and she puts it back in the case.

"You two getting married?" Lindsay asks.

"No." Tris says looking at the other rings.

"Thinking about it?" She says.

"Uh, not sure." Tris answers again.

"Why not you guys make the cutest couple!"

"I don't know just haven't talked much about it." I keep my arms around Tris not wanting to let her go.

"Well if you ever decide to pop the question than come here and get the ring!" She says to me with a wink, I smile at her and nod.

"Come on Tris," I say releasing her and walking out of the shop.

"You two have a nice night!" Lindsay calls from the shop.

"She was really nice."

"It's her job." We walk around and window shop for a while longer than head back up to max's office.

Tris

"So what you are going to do is get in contact with Andrew, and Marcus talk to them and get them to agree to over throwing Jeanine. Can you do that?"

"Yeah, easily."

"You have one week. Come straight here when you get back."

"I will."

"If-If she finishes before the week is up can she come home?" Tobias ask Max.

"No. Sorry but once she's finished than she can be there to see what if they have any good plans for this, we need as many as we can. I'm sorry." Tobias looks down at his hands, he has been acting weird ever since I got back.

"Okay, I will see you next week Max." I say getting up.

"Yes, see you in a weeks time." Tobias gets up and we walk out of his office.

"Hey are you okay?" I ask him.

"Yeah I'm great. Why?"

"You seem off." He sticks his hands in his pockets again, I wish he would stop that it's bugging me.

"I'm fine really. Glad you are home." He kisses my head and walks on. We walk down the stairs and through the Pit, all the way outside, I don't leave for ten minutes but it's nice outside. We walk around a bit and Tobias suddenly stops. "Tris." He says looking at me, what is up with him today?

"Yeah?"

"I don't want you to go. But I know you have to, and I hate watching you leave every time, I don't like being away from you."

"I know, I don't like being away from you."

"I want you do be safe, I know it's Abnegation but anything can happen. Can you do that?"

"Yes, I can."

"Promise?"

"Promise. What is with you? I'm not kidding you are worrying me."

"Just been out of it, have a lot on my mind."

"We're okay right?"

"We are more than okay." He kisses my forehead, I smiles a little and wrap my arms around his waist.

"I don't want yo leave either. We go through this every time, it just gets harder."

"I know."

"Wait? Where was Christina and all the rest of them I didn't see them."

"Not sure, maybe they thought we wanted to be alone."

"Maybe. Tell them I said hey."

"I will." The trains buzzes by I look up at him giving a weak smiles. "Time for me to go."

"Again."

"Yup."

"Do me a favor?"

"Sure what?"

"Don't take anymore long trips for weeks at a time without me."

"I wont. I love you."

"Love you too. Get going the sooner you leave the sooner you come back."

"Okay. See ya next week."

"See ya next week." I walk over to the tracks and run up next to the train, I grab the last car and pull myself in. I wave to him knowing he can't see me.

I wake in a grey home, wearing grey clothes, my parents met with me last night my dad showed me to my room. This whole day is going to be spent helping the Abnegation, I have done this a million times in my life it feels weird doing it again. Being here again feels weird, these clothes aren't mine, mine are black, tight-fitting not these loose grey clothes.

I walk out of the grey house and see people walking around helping each other, I walk over to my parents house and knock.

"Chloë! So nice of you to drop by." my mother says welcoming me in, I step inside.

"Why do I need to have a cover name here, this is my safe place."

"No where is safe with Jeanine."

"I know."

"How are you doing?"

"Great mom."

"If I remember correctly you are with your ex-instructor Four?"

"Yeah." I say with a smile thinking of him.

"How is that going?"

I laugh and shake my head, I want him to be here. "So great."

"That's good, how long has it been since you got together?"

"Three...four years."

"Wow, so long!"

"Yesterday we looking round in a jewelry shop. At rings."

"Really!? You are planning on getting married? Oh Beatrice that is so wonderful!"

"We haven't talked about it much but, I think when I get home that is the mean thing I want to talk about. I think it's about time."

"My little girl, so strong and brave. Getting married!"

"He hasn't asked mom but we are so happy with each other I think it might happen within this next year!"

"That is so exciting! I am so happy for you honey!"

"Yeah. How have you been?"

"Great! Everything is good here."

"Where's dad?"

"He's at the office."

"Oh I have to meet with him and Marcus this week."

"I think they are open on Thursday, they have both been very busy lately."

"Yeah. I'm gonna try to get in with him and Marcus as soon as I can. It's important."

"I see. We should go out and help the faction."

"Yeah I guess so huh." We leave the little house and walk the streets, we meet up with a group of people and head out to the factionless.

I give out clothes, food and water for them the gladly accept it thanking me for the help.

I have a meeting with my dad and Marcus today, three days it took to get in to meet them. I slip on my big grey clothes and walk to the building, my father meets me at the doors.

"Chloë, so nice to see you."

"You too."

"Shall we go in?"

"Yes." I say he opens the door for me and we walk to an empty office, within seconds Marcus Eaton comes in, he gives me a look then sits down at the table.

"What do you have to tell us?" Marcus says, I can't stand looking at him in the eye or at all, all I think of is his dark eyes in Tobias fear landscape.

"As you know I'm from Dauntless and I am here to ask you to please help us get Jeanine out of leadership, she is about to destroy the whole faction system, the Erudite have so many good serum's to help all the faction and the factionless but Jeanine wont let them use them! She wants to mind control all the factions Max wants me to ask you to please help us! Will you? There's going to be a meeting at the Hancock building in four days, please consider being there. We need to stop Jeanine before she gets to far, before she kills us all!"

"Is this true?" My dad says.

"I was there, in Erudite, I have an insider and I was looking through the files. I heard her with my own ears!"

"Listen you are young-" Marcus starts.

"Yeah I knew you would say that." I say and get up and leave the office.

I walk down the halls and out of the building, before I get to far away I hear my father calling me, Marcus by his side. I walk back over to them. "What?"

"If what you are saying is true, will the other factions be there?"

"Yes. Some of Erudite might too. I'm not sure about Amity because that are all about peace but I'm not sure."

"Okay, we will be there." Marcus says.

"Good. I hope you don't change your mind. 12:30 AM Hancock four days."

"Sunday."

"Yes."

"We will be there."

"Good, you made a good choice. I'll be seeing you around." I say and leave, my father walks up next to me.

"Your mother told me about you and Tobias Eaton."

"Okay."

"I just hope you are sure about what you want. And if you are-"

"I am."

"Then I am happy for you, and I'm so proud of the women you have become. Even if I wished for you to stay here in Abnegation, it was a selfish thing for me to want." The worlds that leave his mouth make me want to cry, all this time I have thought my father wasn't proud of me like her was mad at me in some way, but he's not.

"Thanks dad."

"I mean it Bea."

"I know, that actually means a lot to me." I say as we walk.

"I should get back to Marcus, we have a lot to think about."

"Okay. See ya." He nods and walks away. I walk to my small house and lay in the bed. Now that, that is done I don't know what to do. I stay in my room for the whole day making me feel like a recluse.

After I had spent the whole day in the house I decide to go out and just walk around, Abnegation has nothing to do except help the factionless. Amity you can garden, Erudite you read, Dauntless, anything and everything! Candor you mess with people, get them to tell you embracing stuff. But here in Abnegation there isn't much to do.

I walk to my mom house and knock. "Chloë! Come in!" I walk in and sit on the couch. "What brings you here today?"

"I got bored."

"Oh yes."

"Why did you leave Dauntless mom?"

"Because I wanted to be with your father somewhere safe."

"Do you miss it?"

"Sometimes, but then I think of my life here and if I didn't come here what are the chances of me having you and Caleb?"

"That's true."

"You missing home?"

"Home and Four."

"You really love him don't you?"

"I guess I do. Don't worry about me this happen every time I'm at a faction. Oh speaking of, Caleb says 'hey' and he misses you and dad a lot."

"Oh we miss him too! How is he?"

"He's got himself a girlfriend! They are a wild bunch."

"Oh no! Do you think she's good for him?"

"I don't know her that well but she seems nice. Worried that every girl is after him." My mother laughs.

"That's how I was with your father."

"Now that I think about it that is how it is with Four."

"Really?"

"Yeah! Every girl wants him."

"What does he do when they come up to him?"

"He basically tell them to leave him alone."

"I'm guessing that is putting it nicely?" I laugh.

"Yeah, very nicely."

"Well that's good, at least you know he loves you."

"Yeah. I really want to see him though."

"I know you do. Soon enough."

"I know. I can't wait."

"Of course you can't."

There are two days until the meeting and two days until I get home, so much is going to happen in two days! Who know what else! I just can't wait to see Tobias, he has been on my mind the whole time. If he were here now we would be talking with my family and having a good time. My parents would see how much we really love each other and they would see how happy I am, they wouldn't think that I'm faking being happy. Not like they really think that but in case they do, we could prove them wrong.

I walk with my dad around the factionless and hand out food and water. It's weird being here with my dad and not my mom. "So do you and Marcus have any plans on how we can get Jeanine out of there?" I ask him.

"We were thinking that since we are the council that we would just vote her off, like all the leaders of the factions then maybe imprison her, or ask around and see what everyone want to do with her because we can't just let her loose we don't know what she is capable of."

"I agree. That sounds like the best option so far."

"I didn't know you were so apart of the Dauntless leadership?"

"I'm not, this was a job they had available and they thought I would be capable for it so I took it. I'm glad I did but I also regret some of it."

"Like what?"

"I just regret it because I miss Dauntless so much."

"Are you sure that you miss Dauntless. Maybe you just miss some of the people...person." My dad says with a smile.

"Yeah I miss him most of all."

"Your mother and I were both from different factions so we didn't see each other much, only at school during our classes we shared and during lunch. I would walk her home as far as I could and ride the train with her. When the choosing ceremony came we had to decided where we wanted to go, we decided Abnegation, we wanted to be together it didn't really matter the faction, but we didn't want things to tear us apart. Abnegation was perfect. I know how you and him feel about being apart. Just leaving for the weekends when there was no school was hard, and we didn't know each other as well as you and him do. I guess what I'm trying to say is, it never gets easier because you love each other. And Being away from someone you love never gets easier, sometimes it just gets harder."

I have never heard my dad speak so much, he is usually so quite, and I never thought of him and my mom trying to be together in different factions. It must have been hard. "Thank you dad." I say and hug him, Abnegation don't show affection but I don't give a damn because I'm not Abnegation.

"You're welcome. Let's get home to your mother."

"Okay." I say and walk with him back home. My parents seem to know so much about love and I didn't even realize it, I just know that I am so glad my dad told me what he did, for some reason it made me feel better.

I've spent so much time with my parents and I've talked to them a lot, I ended up staying the night last night we talk so late into the night. I never thought I would talk to my parents so much we are usually just so quite but the house has been so...comforting with us all talking.

Tonight the factions are meeting, I'm nervous about what is going to happen. I'm going with my father and Marcus on the train but I'm getting off at Dauntless. My job is done I'm not doing anything more except be with Tobias.

"You ready to go home?" My mom says.

"So ready!"

"I bet. As much as I want you to stay I know that this isn't your home anymore, and you have to go."

"Whenever I can I will come and visit but that is kind of hard these days."

"I know. Whenever you can, do."

"I will. So what are we going today?"

"Hm, we could bake stuff and give them to neighbors."

"Let's do it!" I say, she pulls out the stuff to make peanut butter cookies, we mix the 3 ingredients, one egg, one cup of peanut butter, and one cup of sugar. We put the cookies in the oven and go sit down on the couch while they bake.

Ten minutes later they're done, I take them out and set the cookie tray on the stove. I go back into the living room. "Can you cut my hair?" I ask her.

"Of course I can! Come on." She leads me to the on mirror in the house and takes out the scissors. "How short?"

"A couple of inches."

"Alright." She runs her finger through my hair and begins to cut, I watch as the little pieces of hair fall to the floor, when she's done I look in the mirror and smile.

"Thank you. It looks great!"

"Good, I'm going to clean this hair up." She says grabbing the broom. "You go get the cookies ready for travel."

"Okay." I say and go into the kitchen.

When my mom comes down I have just finished getting the cookies ready to go. "Okay all set." I say, we grab the cookies and walk down the street giving her neighbors cookies, they all thank us multiple times.

When all the cookies are gone we walk around the faction only talking a little bit, we just walk and watch people help them if they need help, once in a while we will talk but it's a very quite walk.

Later into the day my mom and I begin to make dinner for when my dad gets home, I set the table while she finishes cooking. "Thank you for helping Tris."

"No problem." I say, my dad walks in the door and I go over and hug him. "Hi!"

"Hi, Bea." He says.

"Dinner's ready!" My mom says and we both go into the kitchen, we all sit at the table and my dad prays. "So you both will be leaving tonight."

"Yup. I guess so."

"Aren't you going to come Natalie?"

"I don't think I can stay up that late."

"I see, okay well I will be sure to be quite when I come in."

"Alright." My parents hold hand and smile at each other.

"Tris, it's going to be different not having you around so much." My father says.

"I know. Thanks for putting up with me."

"We loved having you here. Going to miss it." My mom says finishing her food.

When we are all done we clear the table and wash the dishes together, the three of us on our last day together, it would be a whole lot different is Caleb was here. It would be almost like we were a family again.

While we wait for time to pass we sit in the living room, my mom knits, my dad reads the new paper and I lay on the couch watching them. I haven't realized how much I've missed just sitting with my parents, not talking just watching them do what they do every night, read and knit so peaceful so serene. It's nice. Comforting.

10:30 rolls around and my mom yawns I know she is not used to being up this late, god know my dad isn't he's already asleep on the couch. "What time are you leaving?" My mom says

"Here in about an hour." I say, yawning, just them being tired is making me tired.

"Okay, I will stay up with you." She grabs a book and starts to read, I grab the news paper and read it while I wait.

Time flies when you are reading, I put the news paper down and see it's 11:20 I should wake my dad up. "Dad. Hey, dad." I say to him, he stirs and his eyes open a little.

"Oh hey, sorry I didn't mean to fall asleep."

"It's fine you needed it. I kept myself busy."

"Are we leaving now?"

"We should get ready Train will be at the tracks in about 10."

"Okay."

"Tris honey, it was really nice seeing you." My mom says and gets up, I get up and hug her tightly.

"I'm going to really miss you."

"I'm going to miss you too."

"Love you."

"And I love you Tris. So much!"

"You ready Bea?"

"Yeah." My dad hugs my mom and kisses her on the forehead.

"I'll be back tonight."

"Bye Andrew." My mom says and we walk out the door, we walk through the streets and stop at Marcus house. My dad knocks on the door, Marcus opens it and lets us in. It's weird being in Tobias old home, the one he was hurt in, the one where his worst fear lives.

"We have to hurry train will be here soon." He says to Marcus.

"Okay. Hello Beatrice."

"Marcus."

"Alright ready to go." Marcus says and we start out the door. "Oh wait I need my jacket it's up in the closet, just right up the stairs."

"Bea honey will you run up and get that for Marcus?"

"Sure. What does it look like?"

"The long grey one please."

"Be right down." I say and run up the stairs, I look around and see three rooms and a closet, two doors are closed and one is open, the open on looks like Marcus room. My curiosity gets the better of me I open one of the door and it's an empty room, I go to the next and there's a bed a dresser and a desk. Tobias room. I step in the room looking around. Little Tobias grow up in here, this god awful house this was the only place he felt somewhat safe. I feel tears come to my eyes and force myself out of the room, I close the door and grab the jacket out of the closet.

I run down the stairs and hand it to Marcus. "Just like a Dauntless running down the stairs, always in a rush." Marcus says.

"Well maybe it's because I'm Dauntless." I say and we walk out of his house, now that I'm out of it I realize that the house was pretty cold, a little colder than it is outside.

My dad, Marcus and I reach the train tracks just as the train starts to roll by, I run along it and grab the rail and pull myself up, my dad and Marcus do the same, but with a little more trouble. "So I am going to get off at Dauntless in ten minutes, you guys get off at Hancock in 20."

"Alright. Sounds like a plan." Dad says.

Ten minutes pass by and I feel like it's taken 10 years! "Here my jump!" I say, I hug my dad, he kisses my cheek.

"Good luck with Tobias." He whispers, I smiles.

"Thank you. Tell mom I love her."

"I will, love you Bea."

"Love you dad."

"Goodbye Beatrice nice to see you again." I shoot Marcus a glare.

"Bye." I say and stand at the end of the train car. I count to three and jump. My feet crash to the ground, I walk for about five minutes and stop in front of the doors. I take a deep breath, and smile. Dauntless is my home and I am here, I'm not leaving again for a while. I can stay here for more than a few hours.

"Tris?" A deep voice says, I look over and see Tobias standing a few feet away.

"Tobias!" I say and run over to him, he catches me in his arms and holds me tightly. "I missed you!"

"I missed you!" He kisses me and I seem to melt in his embrace. I am so happy to be home, and to know that I won't be leaving anytime soon.

GUYS! I AM SO EXCITED! I Wrote this whole chapter today! it took all day but I did it! I am soo happy that It's finished. I have ONE more chapter to write! ONE MORE! I am so excited to end the story and yet I am so sad! It's ALMOST been a year since I started it! (About 8-9 days away!) I never thought that I would get this far into a story! There have been times when I cried because how nice all of you are to me! All I read are encouraging things from you guys! Thank you so much for reading! Thank you! The next chapter is the last! OH MY GOD!
