"Wait," Thomas said. "I wasn't hallucinating?"
"No, but if you hallucinate about turkeys I'd look into that."
Ignoring the jibe, Thomas leaned forward. "You killed a Black Court vampire."
"Yes."
"With a turkey."
"A frozen turkey," I reminded him. "I doubt it would've worked nearly as well with a cooked one."
He raised an eyebrow. "Well. That's…interesting."
"Hey," I scowled. "I didn't see you contributing to the planmaking, Mr. I'm Too Busy Bleeding Out Because My Sister Shot Me."
He shot me a look. "Next time I'll let them eat you."
"Nah," I said. "Why d'you think I used turkey?"
