Chapter 27:7apter Revelation

Hey, Hey, Hey! So I just read the reviews for the last chappie and I am thankful for your comments.

Some facts about Dani: She has a fatal flaw (You will find that out soon) and she is not that cool type of girl once you find out more about her. So yeah, that's probably some of it.

Just to give this info to any reader: Dani is not gonna date someone YET. And you guys are right because she is still young and I want it to focus on her. So yeah, just be prepared at all times in case If I write something that's making you guys flip because of Dani/Dick or Dani/Roy. I have my decision who is gonna be Dani's ship so better keep it to myself. Right now it's just gonna be friendly with Dick and Roy.

WARNING: THIS IS THE FIRST TIME THAT I WILL DO ROBIN'S POV!

October 1, 2010, 18:13 EDT

My mind is totally gonna blow within minutes. Red Arrow asked me out and Dick is mad also, Robin! Gosh, I hate drama. Maybe I should consider of cancelling the date? If Hal finds out, I'm dead.

Robin and Kaldur are sparring and I am beside Captain Marvel and Zatara. "Can I have one?" I asked Captain and he gives a chocolate bar.

I have some bits and I try to catch Rob's eye. I look at him and he looks back. We both blushed and he turns away. He's still mad. Darn it.

Connor and Megan walks side by side with Wolf. I approached Kaldur and Rob. "They are so cute together." I say.

Rob whispered to Kaldur, "You know they are a couple right?"

"I believe I knew before they did." We smiled and we turned around, Wally and Artemis approaches.

"Do we tell them?" Rob asks.

"It is not our place." Kaldur suggested. Everyone one of us is in their civies. I put my light brown hair in a fist tail braid and have a green t shirt with black denim jeans. Also I wore my green and white sneakers.

"So if Zatara is our babysitter of the week, why is he still here?" Wally says and looks at Captain Marvel, who is still eating the bar. I took another bite, "Why is he eating my snack?" Then he glances at me. "Is that my snack?"

I shake my shoulders and Batman comes in. Recognized Batman 01

"Computer, national news." He says as he walks in, causing us to form a circle. I catch another glance from Robin but he can't look straight into my eyes.

A holographic screens appears and shows Cat Grant reporting but she looks sad. Then the scene shifted, big plants were scattered in the city. Superman saving citizens, Hawkwoman attacking, Uncle John helping and Hawkman. I hope Uncle John is safe in there.

Batman turns around, "Should we get there?" Rob asked.

"No. The league will soon have the situation under control. That's not why I'm here. According to your intel, Sportsmaster supplied Cadmus's blockbuster formula to Kobra."

Kid continued, "Who combined it with Bane's venom to create Kobra venom."

Rob continues, "Which the brain used to create his animal army."

"And upgrade wolf." Superboy says as he pet Wolf.

"The brain also used inhibitor collars like the ones at the penitentiary." Megan says.

"Batman, is it possible that plant thing's on Kobra venom too?" Artemis asks with a worried look on her face.

Batman answered calmly, "I had Green Lantern run a spot analysis." He waved his hand in front of him and a holographic keyboard appeared.

He begins to type, "Divine cellulose does contain trace amounts of Kobra venom variant."

"These cannot be coincedences, unrelated criminals are cooperating with one another worldwide." Kaldur says. Robin waved his hand and he types something in the holographic computer.

"Exactly. It is now clear our enemies have formed some kind of secret society of supervillains. The attack on Metropolis is only the beginning."

"You got that right." Rob says and shows new pictures of the other attacks. "Plant creatures have sprouted in Gotham City, Paris, Star City, Taipei-"

The videos's connection lost. "Dude." Kid says.

"It's not me." Rob says. "Something's cutting in the satellite signals. All satellite signals."

The screen shifts and Joker appears. " Ladies and Gentlemen, we interrupt your regularly scheduled mayhem to bring you this important announcement from the Injustice League." He takes a dagger and moves the screen and shows the Injustice League.

OH MY GOSH. Joker, Wotan, Poison Ivy, Count Vertigo, Atomic Skull, Black Atom and Ultra Humanite. They are all together in one team. This is outrageous.

"We are responsible for the attacks of your cities." Count Vertigo says. Figures. Man, I wanna slam their faces with a frying pan so hard. My hand clenches as anger tries to consume me.

He continued, "If you wish to save them, a ransom of 10 billion American dollars is required."

"Why does it have to be money? Why can't they make money for themselves?" I moaned and Batman gives me a death glare. I quickly bowed down.

"-Delivery instructions have been sent to the United Nations. There is no time limit. But the longer your government waits-"

Joker takes the screen which shows his horrible face. "The more we get to have our jollies." He laughs and the signal is gone.

"Roger that Aquaman. The UN will prepare the ransom as a fallback but it won't come to that." Batman says as he presses the communicator in his ears.

Robin continues to type in the holographic keyboard and repeats the video. "Count Vertigo, The Joker, Poison Ivy, Ultra Humanite, Atomic Skull, Black Atom, Wotan. 7 heavy hitters. Probably behind everyone and everything we've faced."

"There's your secret society." Kid says, with a worried tone in his voice.

"Not so secret anymore." Artemis added.

"Perhaps after India they realized we would deduce the truth and saw no point in hiding anymore." Kaldur says, realizing.

"Yeah. That was their mistake. Right now I say we go kick some plant creature butt." Kid says, excitement filling in his mind.

"The Justice League will handle the plants. I have a different job for this team." Batman says.

"Oh man." Kid moaned and Artemis smacks his arms.

Batman continued. "With the plants attacking so many locations simultaneously, there must be a central control system. Your mission is to destroy it."

Zatara approached Batman. "You realized what you're asking them to do?"

"They're ready." Batman replied.

"Ready? Ready for what?" Artemis smacks Kid's arms. "Will you cut that out?"

"Hello Wally? If the big guns are fighting the plants, who do you think we'll be fighting?" She asks and Kid says that he doesn't know. She points the screen.

"Ohhhh." Wally replied.

"Well Batman, I trust you're correct." Zatara said.

"I trust you can locate the enemy."

"Indeed. Wotan's informants suggest sorcery is part of how the plants are controlled." He turns to Robin. "Robin if you would provide a holo-map, I'll search for signs of concentrated sorcerous activity."

Zatara walks forward to the holographic world map. He says the spell, holding out his hands in the air. A red dot appears and blinks.

"There that is where you'll find the Injustice League's central control system."

We looked at Robin. "Coordinates locked in. The Louisiana bayou."

"We are on our way." Kaldur says and all of us ran to the bioship.

Bayou Bartholomew

ROBIN

Focus. That is the word that I need right now. This mission is not an ordinary mission for all of us. I catch a quick glimpse of the others. They take this seriously. I looked at Dani. She prepares her silver belt bag and catches my eye.

She looks like she wants to say something but I distract myself by checking the batarangs from my belt. Why do I hate her? I don't really hate her. It's just that Roy likes her.

I don't like Dani. I'm her bestfriend, why wouldn't she say something about her relationship with roy? I heard Roy asked her but why do I shower my hate to her? I hate myself sometimes.

"What's in the duffel?" Kid asks, eating a banana.

"Plan B." Kaldur simply answers.

Then Miss Martian grunts, putting a hand on her head. Is she sick?

"You okay?" Superboy asks because that's what boyfriends do.

"Dizzy."

"Martians get air sick?" I ask Wally.

"She does look a bit greener than usual." Kid replied.

"Not me. Her." She says to Artemis.

"I feel fine." Artemis says and glances at Dani. "What? I'm not dizzy." Dani replies.

"Not her. The Bioship. She's trying to shield us but-" Megan says.

The bioship spins and ultimately crashed on the ground. I looked around, we are not on a ground we are in a lake. Vines grabbed the ship and a hole opened above. Superboy spots Black Adam and he punches him, sent him flying.

Water flows inside fast. "No! No way I'm nearly drowning three nights in a row." I took out my rebreather and put it in my mouth. I search for Dani and she looks up and closes her eyes. What is he doing?

She disappears, white light surrounding her. Oh yeah, I forgot she has teleportation powers.

We dipped down and Megan opened a hatch below. We went through it and Kaldur take the lead. We emerged on the other side where Dani is waiting for us.

We take deep breaths. A powerful sharp pain in my mind enters, pinning all of us in the ground.

"Vertigo!" Kid says.

"Count Vertigo to you, peasant." He says.

I spotted Superboy fighting Black Adam. Vertigo stops, finally and still I am regaining my strength. Kaldur quickly weilds water using his bearers and knocks Vertigo.

Robin, Miss Martian disappear. We will keep them busy. You two fulfill the mission objective. Kaldur says mentally and Megan holds my arm and I could feel the invisibility within us.

We raced to the swamp and try to find the source area.

The swamp is very dark. I followed the map in my holographic computer and only my footsteps are the sound that I can hear.

I blocked contact with Aqualad and the others. Should we- Megan says telepathically.

Sorry that's not the gig. This is I say. I lowered my holographic computer and showed Megan that I have found it.

The Injustice League Central Control System A big dome shaped place with a plant sprouting out. Looks like that plant is acting as an antenna to control the other plants worldwide.

"Well hello." Plants captured both me and Megan. I struggle and Ultra Humanite appears after her and prepares to shoot us. "And Goodbye."

Ultra Humanite prepares but suddenly shoots both the vines that tangled us. I rushed quickly, "Sorry Boy Wonder. I'm putting an end to your little reconnaissance mission." Poison Ivy says from behind.

Vines sprouted from the ground as I rush and I dodged them vaguely. But more are coming. Everywhere I step, more vines try to tangle me. I used my skills as a gymnast and thankfully it has been a great help.

A big vine surprises me and I got tumbled down on the ground. The plant dissipates, "Robin she made contact." Megan says telekinetically.

Artemis?

No

A golden cage passed by and the bioship knocked Wotan,making the cage disappear. They landed not that great but at least safe and muddy.

"Find the girl!" I heard Poison Ivy said. "She's our priority!" Then a scream follows.

Is she talking about Megan or Artemis? Megan and I rushed to the Central Control where the others are taking care of the fighting problem.

I put lots and lots of batarangs in every inch of the plant. It explodes causing the plant to burn and scream.

"Uh! Timber." I say, causing poison ivy to summon big vines but Megan stopped her.

A sharp light knocked Megan and Atomic Skull aim his lazer at me. "Look what I've got Boy Wonder." Joker says and my eyes went big.

He has Dani in his arm and has a knife locked in her throat, inches away from death. "Dani." I say.

"Boy wonder has to choose does he? His friends or this pathetic girl." Joker says and laughs, catching the attention of the others.

Dani's brown hair is loose and muddy and wet. She looks so innocent. Her blue eyes still sparkle but it shows fear. I wonder what did they do to her? Maybe she is the one Poison Ivy is talking about?

"Joker! Stop what you're doing!" Count Vertigo yelled from below. "She is still important!"

"Don't worry, I have given her something." He glanced at me and gave me an devilish smile.

I throw a batarang and Joker slashed something and I couldn't see what he did and shoves her to the side. Joker launches and we were both on the ground. Dani!

We fight but it is not enough. We were all doomed. Wotan shoots us electricity and everyone is struggling to get out.

I saw Kaldur catch the duffel bag and opens it. He puts the helmet of fate in his head. Then Wotan stops, "No Aqualad Don't!" Kid yelled but he was too late.

He becomes Doctor Fate and battles Wotan. All of us still struggles, Joker appears and tries to kill me using his knives.

"ENOUGH." A dark voice says and a bright light shines the sky, clearing the forest with a bright white light energy. The Injustice League got knocked out singlehandly.

Dani floats but she is very bright. Her eyes were bright and glowing. I have never seen her like this before.

She immediately stops and falls down but caught by Hal. Wotan got knocked out by Zatara and the Justice League arrived just in time.

The Injustice League woke up from consciousness. "It's over." Batman says and they raised their hands in the air.

"There will be another day." Count Vertigo says.

"Another Day? Another day? There will be another day? Not for any of us." Joker tingles his hands and vines show and green gas spread.

"Joker made spores. Don't breathe." Batman knocks him.

"Fear not." Doctor Fate says and absorbs it. "Fate has intervene."

I try to find Dani and she is in the dome. The two green lanterns are with her, hugging her tightly and are they crying? Dani is still unconscious and weak.

They carried her and they went to us. "Batman.." Hal started and Batman nods. "We'll be back right back."

They left and Kid was yelling Kaldur about his idea of the helmet. He unexpectedly take off the helmet and Kaldur is back.

"Were done here." Batman says. "The supervillain secret society has been neutralized. As for your performance, it was satisfactory."
