"Okay," I said, digging in my memory, "Black Court vampires. Standard weaknesses. Garlic, holy water, faith symbols, stake to the heart."

Thomas piped up from the couch. "And turkeys. Don't forget turkeys."

I blinked. "What?"

Harry scowled at Thomas and made a cutting gesture across his throat. "Ignore him, padawan. You got all of them."

"No, she didn't. She forgot turkeys. And Rock-Em-Sock-Em Robots."

I was lost. "What?"

Harry scowled deeper and snapped, "The robots were the distraction, Thomas. And the turkey wasn't my fault."

"Sure, sure."

Harry sighed.

I made a note to ask Thomas about this turkey thing.
