After the impression of Jurassic Park was over, Harry took me aside.
"Hey," he started. I noticed he was swaying. "I didn't get to ask you earlier, but I need you to do me a favor."
"What is it?" I asked.
"Don't mention Thomas living with me. It's complicated, but nobody can find out. Especially the Wardens."
I frowned. "Can I ask why?"
He let out a slow breath, and glanced around. "He's...well, he's not human, and they tend to get a littleā¦.twitchy about cohabitation." He let out a wheeze. "Can I elaborate at the hospital?"
"Sure," I said. "Gladly."
