Njal arrived at his daughters school about twenty minutes after the phone call with the principle had ended. He would have been there sooner but there was traffic caused by police investigating the bar Njal blew up. But he had made it and was walking into the school, and with no police escort! Take that law enforcement. Njal opened the doors to the school and made his way down the halls to the office, the school was decorated with various banners and posters about spirit week or whatever the hell kids these days did while at school. The only formal schooling Njal had was from three colleges, Bards, Winterhold, and Westpoint. It was at the last where he met Athena and also where he learned that learning seven languages in two semesters was "abnormal". Not his fault he took info in like a sponge, though Annabeth was the same as him in that regard. As he approached the office one of the faculty came opened the door and almost walked into him.

"Oh sorry." The man said. He had to look up, and back up a bit, in order to even attempt to look Njal in the eyes.

"No problem. But I'm here because my daughters were taken to the office. Something about a fight?" Njal played off the role of normal father as much as he could. Kind of hard to do given the fact that he did look like he could crush a man's head in between his hands (which he could but didn't like to do as it was very messy) but he had practice since the girls were first born.

"Ah! You must be Mr. um….Stormcrown." The man said as his eyes lit up in realization and fumbled over the bizarreness of Njals last name. Though he did pick the least conspicuous of all of the last names he had since, Ice-Veins, Bone-Breaker, Stormblade, and Strundu'ul were a tad bit…..out of place.

"Aye, I am. Are they in there?" Njal asked the man, wanting to get this meeting, which was most likely going to lead to another school kicking them out, again. But hey if his daughters got kicked out for crippling some bullies he was fine with that reason. Though if it was for Katie throwing a lamp at a kid and telling him to 'Lighten the F up' again he would be upset.

"Yes, they are and so is your girlfriend." The man said as he moved pat Njal. The last part of that had Njal for a loop as, last he checked, he was single. And the whole getting drunk and ending up in a relationship thing had not been possible for 100 years due to his meditations. So Njal stopped and sniffed for the scents in the air. He picked up Katie and Annabeth immediately, the principle was next with her very bad perfume, a janitor was cleaning the halls on the other side of the school, the guy he just talked to had farted, and various other scents of teachers and students in the building flooded Njal as he sorted through them to find out who this woman that was saying she was his girlfriend was. He found his answer when the smell of candy invaded his sense of smell.

"Tahrodiis mon! Nust fun ek!" Njal yelled out in horror as he now had no desire to head into the office. Monsters, gods, demons, demi-immortals, and war he could deal with. Her furry however was not something he wanted to invoke upon himself. Remembering that a true Nord faces death with courage he preceded into the office. Walking into the room he saw his daughters sitting on one side of the room on a couch and on one of two chairs in front of the principal's desk was an very attractive brown haired woman whose blue eyes seemed to change color in the light. This was the one person, no entity that Njal has ever feared in his entire life, Sally Jackson.

"Hello honey, glad you could make it." Sally spoke. Her voice was very kind and loving to those who heard it but Njal was not fooled. He knew what she really said 'I am here because you are a terrible influence on your children'. She looked at Njal and gave him a loving smile and motioned to the chair next to her.

"Come sit down." She said. Njal kept his eyes on her as he slowly walked to the chair and sat down. He slowly turned his head towards the principal who was giving them an odd look. Sally smiled and turned back towards the principal and spoke.

"So what exactly happened again?"

"Well, apparently there was a confrontation between a group of boys and Mr. Stormcrown's daughters here." The woman said motioning to Annabeth and Katie who sat on the other side of the room. Njal sent a glare, not out of anger, but of betrayal. His loving daughter Annabeth responded with a taunt of sticking out her tongue.

"And, apparently a fight broke out that, in which six boys were injured and one of them is in the hospital with several skull fractures." Now, Njal tried very hard to not laugh at this but ultimately his blood lust out weighed his sense of self preservation and he let loose a hearty laugh that startled the woman and made Sally face palm.

"I'm sorry but what is so funny about this scenario?" The woman squaked at Njal.

"Ignore him, he has some…..different views on raising kids than I do." Sally answered before Njal could. She shot him a look and continued talking with the woman for roughly 30 minutes. Njal mostly remained silent throughout the talk as Sally was a much better people person. He prefered mind alterations instead of trying to persuade, saves much more time and it always goes your way. A win-win in his book. The talk had brought up how the boys father wanted Katie and Annabeth expelled and how the school was going to comply. At this Sally, and Annabeth put up the most protest as Njal could simply find another school and Katie just didn't care. Though looking at Katie he had noticed her normally brown hair was red, and her eyes had a slight golden tint to them. That meant only one thing….werewolf. Apparently Katie got Njal's lycanthrope from genetics, and since puberty was coming up for both girls (much to Njal's ire) it was going to start manifesting. The wolf blood in combo to whatever insult the boy said must have set her off. Oh joy.

"Are you sure there is nothing we can do?" Sally pleaded with the principal. She was a lot more worried about this than her fake boyfriend at the moment. Which while not uncommon did make her upset. She knew that both Katie and Annabeth were demigods like her son Percy but she didn't confront Njal out of manners. Not that she didn't want to, over the years they had become very good friends, just like their children were with each other, but she didn't know what to say, or how to say it. You couldn't exactly go up to someone a say 'Hey I hooked up with a god too'. And so this connection made her want to help Annabeth and Katie however she could.

"I'm sorry but no there isn't. It would cause too much trouble for the school district and for everyone else involved. Just please don't make this too hard and be on your way." The principal spoke in a annoyed voice.

"Alright. Come on girls, let the old crow stop squaking" Njal said as he just stood up from the chair. He knew it was going to end this way, and had no intention of prolonging anything else. The occupants in the room all stared at him with varying reactions. The principal was pissed, Sally was face palming...again, Annabeth looked shocked at how blunt her dad was, and Katie was laughing a lot. As Njal motioned for his girls to leave the room Sally turned and apologized for Njal since she knew he wouldn't do it and followed after. As the group went outside Sally turned and glared at Njal.

"That was rude of you." She scolded. Normally she was never hostile to anyone but Njal could take it and he honestly gave no mind to any owns opinion. He never tried to justify his actions, or apologize for them he just did what he wanted to do. And while she respected that, it was also a sign of a psychopath.

"Yep. Now, not that I don't love seeing you, why are you here?" Njal responded and asked Sally. He had a hunch since Annabeth missed a step in her walk when he said that.

"Annabeth called because she knew you would do something like this." Sally replied.

"Ow. No faith." Njal faked pain and grabbed his heart. Annabeth turned around and mouthed 'its true' to him as she and Katie got in the back of Njal's truck.

"It's warranted. Now, I had to leave work and take a cab over here, Gabe is probably upset that I didn't come immediately home after work so you sir are giving me a ride home." Sally spoke leaving no room for argument. As she turned and walked away Njal gave the 'what the hell' look, shrugged and began walking to his truck.

Several yards away sitting in a black suburban looking in the direction of Njal and group was two shady looking men covered in tattoos. Russian writing was a predominant theme of the tattoos as well as slicked back hair. One of the men turned to the other and spoke in a heavy russian accent.

"That is him?"

"Da." Was his companions response.

"Then we should follow correct?" Asked the first guy.

"No, we call…..our superiors. They are the ones with the beef, and the draw less attention." Replied the second man. Nodding the first guy pulled out a cell phone and dialed a number. After a few seconds a raspy voice on the other end answered.

"What is the color of night?"

"Sanguine, my brother." The first man answered. A few seconds past and a click was heard as a new voice came on.

"What is it?" The voice asked.

"We found him, and his children and some woman. They got in a truck and took off just a bit ago. Should we follow to the house and get them there?" The man asked. The other end was silent for a second or two.

"No, his house will probably be a fortress of death for those who enter. The woman's house however, not so much." The voice replied.

"Great, problem is, we don't know her, or where she lives." The man responded.

"Leave that to us. We will call later. Hail Sithis." The voice said, as the phone line went dead.

Several hours later

Njal was driving Sally back to her home after spending some time at his place. Despite not wanting to anger Gabe, Njal reassured her that if he did anything he would crush the mans bone into dust and remove his spine from his body. Naturally since Njal was a very imposing individual if on his bad side, the promise was enough to get her to stay for a while. During her stay she was able to talk Njal into enrolling both girls into the school Percy was going to, Yancy Academy. Around 8 o'clock she had asked to be taken home, so after secretly putting up defensive runes incase of monster attack Njal left with her.

"No way!" Sally let out a laugh as she and Njal were telling each other about funny encounters they had been in. Njal had just gotten done talking about some crazy guy who rambled on about something called a Wabbajack and how Njal thought he was a druggy and knocked him out. Needless to say she found it entertaining.

"Yeah. It was a weird day." Njal spoke back with a smile. As he pulled into her driveway though the smile vanished. Not just because he couldn't stand Gabe, but because something was off. No lights were on, Gabe is a drunk who stays up watching tv, there would be a light. Deciding to see what was up Njal sniffed the air for a scent, much to Sally's confusion.

"What are you doing?" She asked with a raised eyebrow. Njal's face went from blank to stone cold killer mode in a second as he turned towards her and spoke.

"Gabe is dead. There are 6 men in the house armed with silenced weapons. I'm going to go deal with it." Njal spoke in an eerie calm. Sally's eyes widened as she went to protest.

"How do you know that!? And if its true shouldn't we call the police? Because I'm not letting the man whose daughters I just tried to defend from getting expelled die!" She spoke to Njal in a fierce voice. However this was not the Njal she was used to dealing with. The one she knew would make light of grim scenarios and play along laughing with his daughters and Percy whenever they hung out. This Njal was a cold blooded killing machine that removed most emotions from the fight. And seeing as how Sally wouldn't willingly let him go he did the next best thing. Sleep spell. With a wave of his hand Sally felt very drowsy and soon passed out. Njal removed her from shotgun and laid her down in the back seat. After making sure she was secure, he walked up to the door.

Nikoli's night had been fairly boring in terms of killing someone. Him and 5 other initiates in the Dark Brotherhood had come to ambush their target number 1. Njal Stormcrown, the man who nearly wiped out the Dark Brotherhood back in Mundus. Luckily, their leader, Babette had not been present and was spared so the Brotherhood could live on. Now was a chance for vengeance. He was stationed right to the side of the door so when they came in a quick bullet in the head would take care of the wife of the man they killed when they came in, and then deal with Njal. His fellow assassins were scattered throughout the house and were ready for this bastard. The door flew open and Nikoli and his fellows raised their silenced M9's ready to shoot. Only they never saw the target, or anyone for that matter. The door just flew open for no reason. Sharing a look with the others he went and closed the door, that was the last thing he ever did alive. As soon as the door closed Njal appeared into existence right behind the man and punched a hole straight through his chest, ripping out his heart as his fist exited the other side. Reacting quicker than the newbie assassins Njal hurled Nikoli's body into another assassin with enough force to send the both of them across the room and smashing through drywall. The assassins now processing what happened began to open fire on Njal. Sounds of silenced gun fire could be heard outside as flashes from the guns lit up the windows.

But try as they fight the assassins either couldn't hit Njal due to him moving with inhuman speed or the bullets didn't affect him. Either way was bad news as far as they were concerned. Njal closed the gap on another assassin and grabbed him by the jugular and crushed it. He then lifted the man as a shield to block the bullets from the closest assassin. Grabbing the man he helds gun Njal threw the body at the guy, whilst taking aim and shooting one of the assassins in the head. The man who had the body flung at him dove out of the way just in time to see the second to last assassin have his head smashed into the wall and nothing but paste be left over. He quickly raised his pistol in order to shoot Njal but only saw Njal raise his hand and a bright flash of lightning disintegrated his flesh, leaving only a smoldering pile of ash and bone. Njal went towards the exit but quickly dashed to the side as the first man he killed body flew past him. Looking at the direction it came from he saw the last assassin come through the hole in the wall. It was an Orc. Njal raised an eyebrow and chuckled a little. An Orc could give him a good fist fight. The Orc went into a berserk rage and charged Njla with a football style tackle. Njal couldn't help but grin like a mad man when he felt the Orc plow into him with enough force to slam him into the wall behind him and dent it.

Smiling back with deranged yellow eyes and a sharp tooth grin Njal responded with a tackle of his own though he held onto the Orc has he smashed him through another wall and into, what he guessed was Percy's room. Delivering a spine buster that smashed up the wood flooring Njal preceded to follow up with a series of lefts and rights as the Orc struggled to get off of him. A few more blows in and the Orc had stopped moving for the most part, which pissed Njal off. The people of this world were squishy in comparison to his, this Orc needed to put up a better fight. Njal then stood towering over the Orc with yellow canine like eyes.

"Get up!" Njal yelled. Seeing as the Orc did not move, only to writhe on the ground Njal grabbed him by the neck and threw him into the ceiling. On his way down Njal kicked him through another wall and into the hallway. The Orc layed there coughing up blood and began to stand. Seeing this as meaning the Orc still wanted to fight Njal run up and checked him into the wall, smashing more drywall. Snarling at the Orcs weakness Njal grabbed him by the throat and lifted him off the ground.

"Who sent you." Njal asked. The Orcs face was bloodied and battered from the punches but Njal saw him reach for something and hold it up. It was a letter. Dropping the Orc Njal opened the letter to see a picture of earlier today when he was with his daughters and Sally. What got his attention though was at the bottom was 2 words in black lettering with and similarly colored hand.

WE KNOW

Njal looked down to see the Orc holding a small .38 revolver and looking up at Njal.

"HAIL SITHIS!" The Orc yelled and then shot himself in the head. Njal watched indifferently at the scene but a voice soon drew his attention.

"*GASP* What happened?" Njal turned and saw a very disturbed Sally Jackson standin there.

"*Sigh* It's one of those nights."
