I lifted my wolf head and looked back into the wood. Something didn't seem right. I shrugged it off and turned my head back to Lily's room window. it's been three days since our double date. I haven't seen or heard of him since then. I started to wonder if he vanished off the face of the earth.
I sure hope so.
I laid my head back down into my paws, listing to Lily's soft, steady heartbeat. My eyes slowly started to drift close. Just as I was about to fall into a deep slumber...
'Seth, dude!' I shot up and looked around for Paul's voice. 'Help! There's five of them!'
I raised my eyebrow at the word them and raced to where Paul was located. 'Them?'
I finally made it to where he was and gasp at the sight.
'Childs of New Moon.'
(Lily)
Howl!
I shot up at the painful howl that made my heartache. I threw off the blankets off my body and set my feet onto the cool floor. I blinked a couple of times to adjust my eyes to the darkness. Why did my heart have a sudden stab into it? Who was howling? My eyes widen in panic.
I hope it's not Seth!
Before I knew it, I started to pace. That's not a good sign when I start pacing! I took deep breaths. It must be vampires. Yeah, lots of em'. I sat by the edge of my window ledge. I couldn't help but notice the beautiful moon that was out. It was a full one. I never saw anything like it. It was hypnotizing.
Like Seth's eyes.
I smiled as I remembered my boyfriend`s twinkling eyes.
I really do hope nothing happened to him.
(Seth)
I stared in disbelief as I saw five Childs of New Moons. 'What do we do?' I asked Paul.
'Beats me kid.' He barked. I howled trying to signal the others we're in trouble. Soon, they surrounded us. The silver shape-shifter growled trying to be intimidating, but it didn't work. They closed in on us.
'Well, if this is how we'll die,' Paul started, 'I love ya, pup. I love you too Rachel.'
I signed. 'And Paul. I just wanted to say: I used your toothbrush to clean the toilet.' Paul looked taken aback. Then furious.
'WHAT?!' He growled at me.
'You see what had happened was-'
'Paul, Seth!' Sam`s voice called. 'We're on our way!'
Good, because I didn't want to die because Paul killed me. I almost sacrificed myself to the New Moons instead of facing his painful wraith. I couldn't leave Lily. My heart plunged at the thought of leaving Lily.
The pack finally arrived and got into an attack position, ready to pounce. A serious fight was about to break out when...
"Stop!" My head snapped back to a familiar voice.
Nathan.
"We will not fight them." He said as his eyes flickered to me. I blinked a couple of times.
'Seth, you know him?' Sam asked. I nodded my head and showed him my memory of him.
"We'll leave. In peace." Nathan said. So, he must be the leader of the group. Why did he save us our lives? They started to leave as Nathan nodded at me. I nodded back.
'You did what now?!' Paul barked at me as he soon realized we weren't going to die.
'Uh...You know. When people think they`re going to die they scream the most random thing...' I chuckled nervously.
'Paul.' Same commanded. 'You two are finished for now. Quil, Embry. You may start your patrol.' They nodded and went to work. I quickly ran to Lily's house before Paul breaks the command and I'm dead. I phrased back and used a tree next to the house to jump into Lil's window. I was surprised to find her awake sitting on the window seal.
"Seth," She gasped and hugged me tightly. I inhaled her scent and kissed her hair.
"Hey, Lil. You alright?" We pulled from the embrace.
"I should be asking you the same thing. I heard a howl and...and I felt something was wrong." I looked into her eyes that were clouded with worry and pain. I kissed her and smiled that she cared so much.
"Yeah, I'm fine. Just a couple of New Moons." Her eyes widen.
She started to search for any sighs of injures. "Did they hurt you? If so, where? I'll help-" I laughed at her.
"No, I'm not hurt. I have super hearing, remember?" She blushed and dropped her hands behind her back. I kissed her nose. "Nathan saved us."
She looked confused, "I thought you two didn't like each other."
"I thought so too." I shrugged.
She nodded and yawned. I smirked and swiped her off her feet. I carried her bridal style to her bed. "But-"
"No buts' in this relationship, remember?" I teased as she did. Lily huffed and crossed her arms. I kissed her forehead.
"Go to sleep."
"Fine." I turned for the window. "Seth?"
I looked over my shoulder, "Huh?"
"Sleep with me." I raised my eyebrow and smiled.
"Sure." She smiled from ear to ear and scooted over so I could fit in her bed. I cuddled in her bed with her and wrapped my arms around her waist.
"Your bed is tiny."
"You're just huge."
"I'm not that big."
"Yeah right. You look like you can eat the whole pancake house out and then have McDonald's afterward."
"Pancakes..."
"It's every girl dream to cuddle up with a hot guy and him thinking about flapjacks."
"Ah, so you've been dreaming of this day?"
"I was just making a point-"
"To be cuddling with a smoking hot guy, right?"
"I didn't say smoking-"
"I must be so sexy."
"I didn't say sexy either-"
"You're right...the sexiest of the sexiest gods ever, right?"
"You keep saying like it`s a question, but you never let me answer it-"

"I never knew you thought of me this way."

"This is the highlight of my day."

"If it makes you feel better, you're even sexier," I whispered in her ear. I love it when she blushes.
"I'm starting to regret inviting you to sleep in my bed." She muttered. I hugged her close.

"Unfortunately."

I woke up without the warmth of Seth's body. I frown and opened my eyes. I went into the bathroom and brushed my teeth and showered, throwing a pair of ripped jeans an anime t-shirt with black furry slides. I tossed my hair in a bun. I jogged downstairs to see...
A Seth cooking breakfast.
Da hell...?
I raised my eyebrow, "What are you still doing here?" He smiled and pointed to the note on the fridge. I went over to the fridge and snatched the note off and read it.
Dear Lily,
Watch your little sister while I take a morning shift at work today. Where ever you go, she goes. -Mum
I groan. Why? I felt a warm pair of lips on my cheek.
What's with the petty kisses lately?
"It's okay. You still got me." I smirked and decided to joke with him.
"And what did I do to deserve this?"
He flipped the pancake over and set the spatula down.
"This." He lifted me up onto the counter and attack me with his lips. I wrapped my arms around his neck and my legs around his waist pulling him closer to me. I played with his hair as I moaned against the kiss.
"What are you two doing?!" We jumped from our kiss and looked at a certain little girl with a yellow stuffed bunny in her arms at the bottom of the staircase.
"Oh, uh...checking his temperature." I jumped from the counter.
I forgot about her.
Already?!
What can I say? Seth distracted me!
"But, mommy always use a temfompher." She said. Seth chuckled.
"Thermometer." He corrected.
She smiled, "Yeah!" I grinned.
"She tried." I shrugged. The doorbell ranged as Seth stiffen. I raised my eyebrow and walked to the door. Opening it, I saw Nathan in the worst condition. He didn't look healthy.
"Lily, Seth." I turned to see Seth standing behind me.
I think I can manage to open the door by myself.
"Nathan, what is it?" I asked with concern.
"I need your help."
