A/N: Thank you all so much for your reviews for the last chapter! You guys know it means the world to me that you are all continuing with this fic. Thank you =)
"You should really be in bed, Ms. Mikaelson."
"I'm fine here thanks…"
Rebekah Mikaelson was extremely fond of her nurse. She understood that she was just doing her job and looking out for her well being after the heart surgery she endured a little over a week ago, but with the current mood she was in, she really didn't want to be bothered by anyone. She wanted to be alone with Bonnie. That's why she asked her to wheel her to her room the first place.
"Rebekah…"
"You can leave now." Rebekah didn't mean to sound like a bitch. The nurse had been nothing but caring and nice towards her, but just earlier today she was told about all of the recent tragic events that had taken place a little over a week ago, and whose heart was now beating in her chest.
The tears were forming in her eyes as she tried to wrap her mind around it all. She had been awake from heart surgery for a week, and she should have known something was off when neither Bonnie nor Stefan came to visit her. Her brothers gave her some idiotic excuse that Damon and Stefan had to deal with something in Mystic Falls and that Bonnie went with them, and since she was doped up on morphine, she was always in and out; not really objecting their lie. And now she knew the truth. Bonnie and Stefan had both been in the car with Marcel. She remembered seeing Marcel for the first time upon waking, and he had been in a wheel chair with scratches marring his face. He told her he had been in a little accident.
But it wasn't just a little accident. They told her that because they didn't want her new heart to fail; Stefan's heart. Stefan was dead and Bonnie was in a coma.
All of this had happened in a week's time, and upon all of this realization, she now knew why she also hadn't seen Damon since the surgery. He would probably never be able to look at her again. A walking reminder of his brother's heart would be too much to bear for anyone.
As Rebekah held onto her best friend's hand, who had pretty much become a sister to her, she remembered how she was told that Bonnie showed a little improvement over the week, but only time would tell. But how much time? And how would Bonnie take the news when she found out that she was no longer pregnant? That she lost her daughter or son. How could that news be broken to her? It just wasn't right. After all she had been through. After overcoming an addiction that should have killed her…. killed them both; this is where it all led.
Rebekah had tried her best not to cry; she tried her best to hold it together. But at this moment, she cried for Bonnie. She cried for Stefan. He was never coming back. She had grown up with Stefan and even had a crush on him back in the day. He was pure… honorable… encouraging. He was someone, that no matter what, could make you feel good and he was always there for you, even if you pushed him away. He never left you behind.
And now… now he was no more.
Rebekah then rested her head on Bonnie's still form and wept.
"Bonnie, will you hurry up, it's not like you're not going to see him this weekend!"
Bonnie couldn't help but end the kiss she was sharing with Damon and smile at Matt, who called her from the living room.
"Ignore him." Damon lifted Bonnie up, and her legs encircled his waist as he sat down on his bed.
"I would, but we do have to get back. Classes start tomorrow and I need to get some rest." She really did. She didn't know how she was going to survive her first day; especially an early morning class, when she barely got any sleep on her summer vacation. Between long hours in the dance program, partying and sight seeing with Matt and Stefan, and a new found romance with Damon. The girl was exhausted.
"Or you could stay up here with me and I can get you into one of the schools here."
"I really doubt I'd be attending classes, and you would probably let your company fall to the ground."
He and Bonnie were so wrapped up into each other that it was definitely going to be painful to be away. Two people who were never really planning to get serious with anyone in quite some time, especially Damon who loved living the bachelor life, let those plans definitely fail upon meeting and getting to know one another.
Bonnie was about to get off Damon's lap until he tightened his hold on her.
"I'll miss you." His voice was soft yet raspy as he spoke into her neck.
"I'll miss you more."
"Not possible."
They knew they were cheesy, but oh well.
When they made it down to the car, Bonnie got in the passenger seat. They decided to make it a little road trip and drive back this time.
Damon kissed Bonnie one more time, "Whatever happens, Bennett, know that I'll always be there for you."
Why did Damon telling her that feel like those would be the last words they spoke to one another? Weird, she thought.
They had been on the road for a few hours, and in a few exits, Stefan would pull over into a rest stop and let Bonnie drive.
"So, you're in love with him aren't you?"
Stefan's voice brought Bonnie out of her thoughts. She didn't know why she still felt a bit eerie about the last thing that Damon said to her. Something just didn't feel right. Like maybe she was having an outer body experience or something. She probably really needed to get some sleep.
She glanced over to him as a small smile formed on his lips.
"Is it that obvious?"
Duh, wasn't the word. "It's not like you're trying to be subtle… neither is he. I've never seen my brother like this before. I know he loves you too."
Bonnie's heart jumped in her chest, but instead of gushing, she remained firm. "I think it's a little too early in the relationship to be confessing that to one another."
"Whatever you say, Bonnie B."
The nicknames the Salvatore Brothers had for her made her smile. Stefan called her Bonnie B. Damon called her, Bennett, baby, sexy…etc. And she couldn't help but smile. Damon Salvatore was in love with her and she was in love with him. Three months was all it took. But they were so stubborn that it would probably take a year or so before they admitted it to one another.
"Do you think if things were different, if I hadn't met Elena and you hadn't met my brother that we would….?"
Bonnie glanced at him again and noticed his facial expression and the way he was looking at the open road in front of him, that he was serious.
But she wouldn't lie to him. She had a soft spot for Stefan.
"I think so, but we'll never know." She then turned around to look at a sleeping Matt in the back seat. "Honestly, if things were different, Matt and I would have probably given it a go."
Stefan smiled. His eyes glanced at Bonnie before he looked back at the road.
"Bonnie, promise me that whatever happens, you know I'll always be there for you, right?"
"Okay, what's going on? Why did Damon say the exact same…" she couldn't get another word out before their car was impacted from the side and flipped over several times.
Bonnie's eyes shot open a moment later and for a moment she was confused, she was no longer in the car, she was now standing by it. She looked through and saw herself in the passenger seat with an object impaled in her abdomen. Stefan was lying on the car and she didn't see Matt anywhere. Something didn't seem right. When she looked around, her eyes locked on a figure lying on the ground a few feet away.
When she ran to him, Bonnie noticed that it was Marcel.
And that's when it all came rushing back to her. She, Stefan, and Marcel were in a car accident on their way to the Mikaelson Manor to get some items for Rebekah. But how could this have happened and she was just with Matt and Stefan in New York for the summer? What was going on?
"Bonnie."
She instantly turned to the sound of her name coming from Matt's voice.
And when she saw him in the white tuxedo she always envisioned him, tears appeared in her eyes. Matt was dead. Everything that happened in New York didn't happen. They were in a car accident. Rebekah was going to die if she didn't get a heart transplant.
Matt embraced her in a hug that she sank into him, feeling weightless.
"What's going on, Matt?"
"You have to wake up, Bonnie."
"I don't understand… none of this… none of what happened in New York was real?"
He shook his head.
She almost collapsed.
But what if she didn't wake up and she stayed here. What if she could stay here and have Matt alive. She hadn't met Rebekah but she was sure she would and she would be alright.
And as if Matt read her mind, he said, "No matter what world we're in… what situation we're in, I was going to die. Whether it was the overdose, the car accident, or even a heart attack, I was going to die, Bonnie. There was nothing you could have done to prevent it. You need to understand that."
"But…" she could barely get a word out as she cried.
"They need you right now. You're friend's need you, Grams needs you… Damon needs you. So, you have to wake up. I am always going to be there for you Bonnie, no matter what." He then touched her chest. "I'm always going to be in here. And I'm always going to love you. You meant more to me than anyone."
Bonnie held on tighter; afraid to let go.
When her attention drifted behind him she saw Stefan standing a few feet away, holding the hands of a little boy and girl.
One with blue eyes and one with green.
Bonnie's eyes opened slowly. She felt numb; not knowing where she was as she tried to adjust to her surroundings.
"Bonnie…"
When she head a female voice say her name, she looked over slowly to see Rebekah with tears in her eyes.
"Bonnie, you're awake." She hugged her gently.
Before Bonnie could attempt to speak, Rebekah called for the doctors, and once they finished tending to her, they left her and Rebekah alone.
They both stared at each other for a moment, both not sure what to say; both wanting to cry.
"Bekah…." Bonnie's voice was raspy, as she tried to get use to the sound she hadn't heard in over a week. "How's Stefan and Marcel?"
And maybe it was the look on Rebekah's face or the tears that began to flow from her eyes that told Bonnie everything.
Bonnie didn't know if she were crying or if her face held shock when Rebekah informed her that Stefan didn't make it. Or that her body felt like a semi-truck had slammed into her when Rebekah told her that she had lost her unborn baby. She could feel that she no longer had someone growing inside of her, but hearing it being said out loud, made it real.
Bonnie remembered the dream she had and how Stefan was holding hands of two children. Twins. What if she were going to have twins? Two people who would never get a chance to call her mommy. Two people that she would never be able to hold. She had lost two children and Stefan.
Bonnie's body shook as she held onto Rebekah. She couldn't cry and she couldn't breathe. But holding onto Rebekah was the only thing that was keeping her alive. She was supporting her life, because if she let go, Bonnie felt as if she would be no more.
Past- 9 years ago.
"Baby let's go get something to eat."
Damon Salvatore was in a state of euphoric bliss as his mind and body adjusted to the heroin seeping into his skin and filling his blood stream. He didn't know why it took him so long to try it, but it was well worth the wait.
But, the feeling that he was succumbed in quickly vanished at the sound of the woman lying next to him.
Why was she still here? He wondered. He wasn't one to share a bed after any sexual encounters. They knew what they were in for. Sometimes he let them stay until morning or after they both slept a little, but it was mid day and he was in the mood to be alone. There was no "let's get something to eat" or "let's talk about our lives." He didn't need nor want that.
The girls he hooked up with knew that and he also knew that some of them thought that their pussy was so good that he would want to change for them. No. That wasn't the case. He didn't do the whole long walks on the beach, the talking about feelings or their lives. He wasn't here for that. He didn't know how to do that and he wasn't in the mood for learning.
"I have a meeting with my dad in a few hours. You should get gone." It was a lie. And he knew the girl thought he was an asshole as soon as she scoffed and rolled her eyes, but he didn't care. She already knew this about him, so why was she trying to act upset now?
"Well if you want to hang out later, let me know."
He nodded as he walked her out. When she made it appoint to kiss him on the lips, he didn't kiss her back, and she turned on her heels and left.
Damon was back in his room and lying on his bed in no time. He didn't have to meet with Giuseppe Salvatore today. His father was out of the country on business for a few weeks, so he and his little brother had the house to themselves. It was summer vacation for Damon, and he had about a little over a month until his second year of college began, he was definitely enjoying his dad's absence. Finn was taking Stefan, Rebekah, and Kol to Myrtle Beach tomorrow for a week, so that gave him plenty of alone time without worrying about Stefan figuring out what he was doing. He loved his brother dearly but he was glad he wouldn't be under his hair for a while. He knew that he would never approve, and unlike his father, he cared about what Stefan thought of him.
His phone going off let him know he had a text message.
Open the door to this big ass house, mate.
Damon was opening his front door almost violently about a minute after the text was received.
"What the hell are you doing here? You weren't supposed to be here until tomorrow."
"Is that anyway to greet your best friend and supplier?"
Damon met Enzo his first week in college, and they had the same goals in mind. Partying and hooking up with girls; adding alcohol and drugs to the mix. It was Enzo who introduced him to the drugs.
"I would greet you better if you came tomorrow; I told you Stefan hasn't left yet."
"We'll be quiet, I promise." Enzo said, inviting himself in.
"We'll?" Damon was about to question what he meant, when a female walked up behind him.
"Don't look too surprised to see me, Damon."
Nadia Petrova.
"I didn't know she was coming."
"I couldn't let you boys have all the fun." Nadia said, taking off her jacket and throwing it on the floor. "Damon when you said you had money, I didn't know you were this loaded."
Damon went to his father's mini bar and poured himself a drink.
"While you're at it, pour me one." She smiled, and then pulled off her shirt. "And then we can get down to fun."
Nadia was the one woman that he and Enzo shared… at the same time.
Present.
Damon's eyes shot open at the memory that marked the beginnings of his drug addiction. His times with Enzo and Nadia; his first tastes of heroin. He had already been experimenting with coke at the time, but the heroin… the heroin was a blissful entrapment he never wanted to be away from. And at this current moment, he wished he still had some.
But he would continue to make do with the alcohol until his supplier came through. He had been debating on if he should purchase the white nose candy again because his brother was dead, and Bonnie didn't seem as if she were waking up.
Life fucking sucked. And he wanted no part in it anymore.
His phone constantly buzzed, but he couldn't bring himself to answer it. For all he knew, someone would tell him that Bonnie didn't pull through or that someone else was in an accident and died. And he just couldn't handle it right now.
Damon had been held up in his apartment for about a week. He went to go see Bonnie once this week, but when the doctor's informed him that there wasn't a change and it still didn't look good, he lost it again. Damon couldn't live in a world where Bonnie didn't exist either.
He didn't know how much time had passed, but the frantic knock on his front door pulled him out of his thoughts. His intentions were to let whoever was behind his door continue knocking, but when they wouldn't stop, he got up to answer it. Plus, he didn't need the authorities called.
He opened the door to reveal Niklaus Mikaelson standing on the other side.
"Why haven't you been answering your bleeding phone?" Klaus asked as he barged through Damon's door. Seeing his pigsty of an apartment almost made him forget what he was doing here in the first place. Almost.
"Bonnie's awake."
It was as if Damon's whole demeanor changed; as if he could see clearly for the first time in a while. He didn't say anything to Klaus while he frantically moved around looking for a clean shirt and his phone.
"You may want to shower first mate, and get the alcohol off your breath while you're at it. No need to tell the whole world that you fell off again. I'll be waiting in the car."
Klaus tried to hide his disappointment with Damon because of the circumstances. But after going through so much with his addiction years ago to just start back up again, he really didn't know what to think. Damon was just as hardheaded as he was, but it pained him to see someone he considered a brother going through this again, and knowing that he couldn't help him. He just hoped seeing Bonnie awake would knock some sense into him.
They drove in silence to the hospital. Damon's mind was all over the place. Bonnie was awake. She was alive and awake and he would be seeing her soon. He really needed her right now, because he knew that he was falling apart. He knew that he was on a path of destruction, but he needed a way to block the pain.
He thought that he would feel better after killing Conner, but that wasn't the case. As soon as he ended his life this past weekend, he still felt the urge to let the alcohol bring him a tranquility he was desperate for.
Damon could still remember the look in Connor's eyes… the fear that masked his features. He even remembered wondering why he held that fear after everything he caused.
Damon watched as Connor's eyes opened and connected with his. Just by the way he was staring at him, he knew that realization hit him on what was about to happen. And still by knowing this, his eyes held an ounce of fear. But Damon didn't understand why?
He wondered if Connor would have screamed for help if his tongue wasn't already detached from his mouth.
He and Klaus had to debate on if they should cut his tongue out, because Klaus loved hearing his victim's scream. But this time, it was Damon's call. And Connor would pray for death when he was done with him.
Damon was outside of Bonnie's room before he realized it. Everything else around him upon entering the hospital was a blur. He looked through her window as she smiled at her friends. It was just like Bonnie to try and provide comfort to others when she was the one in need of it.
When he opened the door to her room, Bonnie, Caroline, Tyler, Vicki, Jeremy, and Elena turned in his direction.
"I think that's our cue, guys." Tyler spoke up.
After giving Bonnie a light hug and a kiss on the cheek, they all left and Damon closed the door after them.
He stood there staring into her eyes; almost afraid to move. Afraid that if he did, all of this would have been a dream and he would be waking back up on the floor of his apartment.
"Damon…" The tears in her eyes were visible and so were his.
He was at her side in an instant, his hands softly caressing her face; letting him know that it was all real. His forehead came to rest on hers and the tears escaped their eyes as they held onto one another.
He was afraid to let her ago. She was afraid to let him go.
"I'm sorry." His voice was barely above a whisper.
A confused look descended upon her features.
"I'm sorry about the things I said…that all of this happened. I'm sorry."
"Damon this wasn't your fault."
But at the end of the day it was. His extracurricular line of work that he, Klaus, and Marcel took part in caused the car accident and Stefan his life.
"I can't lose you, Bonnie. I can't…." His voice was strained; showing emotion he hadn't been able to show with anyone but himself.
"You won't."
Bonnie held onto him as he cried in her arms. She never saw Damon cry. Yes, they had shared a lot and had been emotional with one another throughout the year, but never once had she just seen him cry. And she knew Damon; she knew that he had been holding it in.
Apart of her wanted to tell him about their unborn child, but that would just have to be a pain that she would have to endure alone. Losing a brother was already hard enough, and losing a child….she knew Damon would not be able to come back from that. Apart of her didn't even know if she would.
So, she held onto him tightly, all the while being able to smell the liquor on his breath.
1 Month later
"Damon still holding you hostage?"
"Yes!" Bonnie all but screamed into her computer as she and Rebekah Skyped one another. "Our apartment probably has roaches and rats by now."
Bonnie had been staying at Damon's since she got out of the hospital about a month ago. He wanted to be around her at all times until she was fully recovered. And the fact that she now felt fine still didn't sit well with him. Yes, she still had a few bruises and scars, but they were a part of the healing process, and yet Damon didn't seem to care. He assumed that something bad would happen if he let her out of his sight. She thought that by practically begging her Grams to go back to Mystic Falls, informing her that Damon would take good care of her, that the most worried person would be out of her hair, but Grams had nothing on Damon. He was the absolute worst.
"You're probably right." Klaus, Elijah, and Marcel would not let Rebekah leave the Manor. And she could understand in her case, because it took a while to fully recover from heart surgery; especially when she could reject that heart at any moment.
But still, Rebekah had a job to do. And with both she and Bonnie being under constant surveillance they couldn't get anything done.
"I even tried to tell Marcel to bring me some of my work from the shop, but he looked at me like I grew two heads. And don't even let me ask Klaus…" She remembered how that they almost got into an argument.
"Thank God for Katherine and Caroline." Bonnie said. If it weren't for them, their business would have fallen to the ground. Caroline did get the job in New York, but it didn't consume her days completely. So, between her and Katherine, who surprisingly volunteered to help, they were running things until Rebekah and Bonnie got back on their feet.
And Bonnie was more than ready to come back. She was extremely bored during the day while Damon went to work. She realized at moments like this that she could never be a housewife.
"I guess… I just hope they are not running it into the ground."
"You know they're not, they update us constantly."
"They update you constantly." Rebekah rolled her eyes.
Bonnie gave her a light smile. The only reason Caroline and Katherine would contact her more instead of Rebekah was because if they happened to make a mistake, they knew Bonnie would not cause them physical harm. It was safe to say that Bonnie was calmer in a lot of situations than Rebekah.
"They just want you to get your rest, Bexs. Heart Surgery is a big deal."
Rebekah scoffed, but decided to change the subject. "And it's not even about being here 24/ 7. I'm horny all the time." She confessed.
Bonnie wasn't expecting her to say that but she had to agree. Damon barely touched her. It was like he was having some internal struggle not too. The last time they remotely had any type of contact was when they had a talk about him drinking again. After he agreed that he would stop, a few emotional words were said, and then Bonnie was on the brink of floating as he went down on her. It was earth shattering. But then that was it. She wanted to feel him in her, and she knew he did too, but he left her hanging and that left her frustrated.
"I understand the feeling…"
"I mean Marcel thinks I'll have a heart attack or something if he inserts one measly finger inside of me…"
"TMI Bexs."
"Well it's the truth. I practically had to threaten him that I would leave him in the middle of the night and runaway with another man. And yet still he gave me that stupid look of his and threatened any guy's life that would even think about looking in my direction."
Bonnie shook her head, "What is it about them? They're like some animalistic possessive barbarians."
"Exactly! The whole Me Tarzan You Jane, really applies to them."
"Well these Jane's aren't some damsel in distresses."
Bonnie and Rebekah probably talked for about another hour before Rebekah found herself fighting sleep. And when Bonnie decided she might do the same, a knock at the door prevented that.
"Marcel? What brings you by?" Bonnie asked, closing the door behind him.
"I wanted to see you, actually."
They made their way out on the balcony to get some fresh air. She and Marcel hadn't really got a chance to talk after everything that happened.
"I know it's been awhile and I know you're physically better, but are you okay? Emotionally I mean?" He asked.
. "You want the truth?"
He nodded.
"I feel like Stefan is going to walk through that door any day now. That when you knocked on the door, I automatically thought it was him. Or maybe I'll get a phone call and it'll be him."
"That maybe if my car didn't break down or if we would have taken a taxi, things would be different?"
Bonnie nodded as a single tear escaped her eye.
"I still have nightmares about that night," Marcel began, "The pain I felt… seeing you and Stefan. Every night… it just won't go away."
"Have you told Rebekah?"
He shook his head, "I don't want her to stress about it."
"I think the only thing stressing her is that you guys are practically holding her hostage from the outside world."
He raised an eyebrow and looked at her.
"Don't give me that look you know I'm right."
"I just don't want anything to happen to her."
"Well keeping her in that room isn't going to help. All of you are scared that if she's not sheltered or that you guys can't keep an eye on her, then something will happen. But it could still happen with her being around all of you."
"You're right." He confessed. "I just… having her almost die. I don't know, I just…"
"I know." She gently grabbed his hand, "You, Damon, and the Mikaelson's have some crazy notion that we're going to break if we're on our own. But we're not. We're stronger than you think."
And with their hands intertwined, providing a little ounce of comfort they both needed, they sat in silence watching as the sun set in the sky.
A few hours later, Bonnie put the finishing touches on Damon's surprise. With working long hours at his company and coming home to take care of her every night, she knew he needed to relax. So, she made his favorite dinner, ran a bubble bath, and decorated his bedroom; well Caroline did the decorating when she came over to update her on how things were going at the shop.
Her first priority tonight was to take care of him, but she wasn't going to sugar coat anything. She also had every intention of being intimate with him tonight. And she was going to verbally tell him that instead of snake attacking him like Caroline told her to do.
As she began lighting a few candles, a knock at the door filled her ears. When she went to go open it, a gentleman with dark hair and intense eyes stood in front of her.
"You must be Bonnie." The way he was staring at her, made Bonnie immediately check if her robe was wrapped tight. It was. "Way more beautiful in person."
She was beginning to feel a bit uncomfortable. "You seem to know me, but I don't know you
"Just like Damon not to mention me. I'm Enzo. Damon and I were college buddies back in the day."
Bonnie tried offering a smile even though she was a little apprehensive about him. Especially when the alcohol was screaming out of his pours.
"Tell Damon I know I'm early, but I have a few more rounds to make." He said, handing her a small box.
"I'll let him know you stopped by."
"Hope to see you soon, Bonnie."
Before Enzo walked away, he made it a point to kiss Bonnie's hand letting his lips linger just a little too long.
Bonnie immediately closed and locked the door as soon as he turned and walked away. And of course she wasn't watching where she was going, because she tripped, causing the box to fall open out of her hand.
She didn't know which happened first, her picking up the contents inside or Damon walking through the door.
When she turned around and he saw the contents in her hand, his look told Bonnie everything she needed to know.
"Enzo dropped by." It was all she could really say because her thoughts were running a mile a minute.
Damon's first thought was to kill Enzo, for yet again coming a day earlier than he was supposed to. To his place no less.
"Bonnie, I can explain…"Even though at this current moment all he wanted to do was get some sleep, but the look she was giving him, a mix of anger, sadness, and concern. He was sure that it was worse than death.
And Bonnie waited… waited for the love of her life to explain why a friend from college was bringing him heroin.
Realization hit her like a ton of bricks.
"How long?" Her voice was soft as she tried holding back the urge to cry.
Damon wasn't going to lie to her anymore. "A few days after you got out of the hospital."
"And the drinking?"
"I didn't stop."
She wondered if her heart stopped beating in that current moment. Damon had lied to her. The one person that she never thought would. Did that make her naïve? Was she too wrapped up in her own problems that she didn't realize Damon had fallen off the wagon?
"Why did you lie to me?"
"Because I didn't want you to look at me like you are now."
She honestly didn't know how she was looking at the moment. But how did he get the time to partake in any of this when he was at work most of the day and keeping an eye on her the majority of the night.
And she almost regretted asking, because his answer was something she didn't want to hear. Damon hadn't been attending work and spent his days drinking and getting high.
Bonnie wanted to stay calm about it all. She wanted to comfort him because she knew why he was doing all of this. But she couldn't allow herself to just brush it to the side. Damon was barking down the road of addiction again, and she didn't want that for him.
And before she could get another word out, Damon must have noticed that a conversation was coming that he really didn't feel like continuing at the moment. "Can we talk about this later, Bonnie. I'm tired and I just want to go to bed." He answered enough of her questions today and his mind was all over the place that he didn't want to say anything that he'd regret later on.
And maybe it was the tone in his voice as he dismissed everything. Or that she knew that they weren't going to talk about it later because Damon was the king of avoidance; even with her.
"Damon, you promised you wouldn't continue drinking anymore. And the drugs? I think you may need help again."
"Look, Bonnie, I told you everything you needed to know. So can you just back the fuck off!" He yelled.
And before Bonnie could register anything else, Damon was in his room, slamming the door behind him.
A/N: Thank you all for reading this chapter! I hope you all enjoyed! As you can probably tell this chapter is more of a filler chapter of what's to come. And the biggest is Damon reliving his addiction from the past as well as starting it again. Bonnie is going to try her best to help him, but will he push her away to the point of where she can't?
And I know some of you may think Bonnie may be too calm about losing her babies, but you'll see more of how she's dealing with it in the next chapter.
But, I hope you all enjoyed & please review =)
Xoxo.
