Hey hey hey, whaddyaknow, TWO chapter updates!

Well, I did say that I had some issues with my microSD card. Meaning it got corrupted. Thankfully I managed to salvage most of my chapters and get them back up to speed.

So here's a rather quirky chapter. And yes, if the chapter title strikes any bells, it's inspired by (a) Melanie Malachite's "RubyRolled!" fic (RECOMMENDED READ! SERIOUSLY!) and (b) Limp Bizkit. You'll understand why later.

Before anything else (yes, I know, same old stuff, blah blah blah...) :

Lights, camera, action!

Sirocca yawned from her high perch. She was feeling drowsy, but not enough to make her go to sleep. She shifted slightly on the tree branch, letting her arms and legs dangle.

Her glance was drawn to a swath of colors in the open clearing - red, white, yellow and black. The tiger Faunus immediately identified the ginormous scythe that flashed out as belonging to Ruby Rose. Sirocca purred to herself, "Team RWBY..."

While her consciousness allowed it, Sirocca pulled out her Scroll and started typing, her fingers making a staccato tapping sound. I'll just clean this up later.

Later, Sirocca furiously scribbled on a sheet of paper, tearing off and pocketing the finished product while tossing the remainder haphazardly. Time enough later to clean that up. For the moment, she had to find -

Just as she was about to scour the grounds, Sirocca found the object of her search - the brown-haired pilebunker wielder. "Oi, Libby!" Sirocca called out to the human girl. "Can ya c'mere for a second?"

Libby bounded over, a wide grin on her face. "Yup, sis Sirocca?"

The tiger girl pulled out a sheet of paper from her pocket and gave it to the human girl. "Think ya can make me a wicked set of beats?"

Libby pored over the paper handed to her. "Hmm... This looks neat... How do you want it, sis? You want a steady, flashy or heavy beat?"

Sirocca grinned. This was working better than she had thought! "I'll let ya pick. Hell, even combine all three if ya want, I'm gonna go get Mud-Eater and see if I can get her to drop us some equally wicked bass."

Myst sat quietly in the room, her war staff lying across her lap. One of the flaxen-haired girl's brows twitched as Sirocca practically kicked the door open, yelling as she did so. "Oi, Mud-Eater! You in th - oh, there y'are, sorry." The Faunus girl's voice dropped considerably as she saw her bestfriend sitting on her bed, hands gripping the staff tightly.

Neither spoke for a few moments. "... Well, I ain't gonna disturb ya longer than I need to. Can ya play some bass guitars tonight, in the music hall?"

Myst opened one eye, looking at the tiger girl without moving her head. "Thou hath already broken my concentration, as can be expected when thou art near me." She sighed quickly before continuing. "Let me venture a guess. Didst thou or Libby take ink to paper, and penned another of thy confusing compositions?"

"It's mine this time, Mud-Eater. And please, none of my works are confusing," Sirocca theatrically threw an arm up, pretending to faint, and fall onto her own bed. "I am offended that you compare my works to Libeccia's clearly inferior ones! Why, mine are always rooted in the Order's teachings-"

"Barely, if thou shalt take the effort to listen. Also, whatever morals art in your works art oft drowned by the near-cacophonic arrangement, or art distorted by that twice-damned instrument thou call an electric guitar."

"Hey, no bashing of instrument choices!" Sirocca playfully kicked her pillow to Myst's midsection, which the latter ignored. "Besides, that's how I best express it. Anyways, we're getting sidetracked. Can you, or can you play later?"

Myst sighed again. "Aye, I shalt play. I wonder at times what I did for me to deserve such a fate as this."

Sirocca bounded to the human girl's bed, and quickly moved behind Myst, wrapping her arms around the flaxen-haired girl, resting her chin on the latter's shoulder and purring. "Thanks, Myst. I promise you won't regret it."

Myst arrived at the music hall, expecting a horde of students. She was pleasantly surprised to see only Sirocca and Libby. "Oi, there ya are," Sirocca greeted her with a wide grin. Libby seemed to be engrossed with something on the drums.

"So, what art we playing?" Myst picked up the bass guitar and slung it on her shoulder, tuning the strings. The tiger girl grinned at her and nodded to Libby, who nodded back and started whirling the drum sticks in her hands.

(A/N : play Limp Bizkit's "Rolling" here if you want... XD)

Sirocca :
All right, partner...
Keep on rollin', baby.
You know what time it is.

Sirocca started strumming, Libby taking the cue and starting her own steady beat. Myst, taking the hint, followed Sirocca's lead.

Sirocca :
Throw your hands up!
Ladies and gentlemen!
Chocolate star cookies!
Keep on rollin'-

Libby shifted into a transition and started whaling away.

Sirocca :
Are! You! Ready!
Move in and move out!
Hands up hands down!
Back up, back up
Tell me what'cha gonna do now?
Breathe in, now breathe out!
Hands up and hands down!
Back up, back up
Tell me what'cha gonna do now?
Keep Ruby rollin', rollin', rollin',
Keep Ruby rollin', rollin', rollin',
Keep Ruby rollin', rollin', rollin',
Keep Ruby rollin', rollin', rollin'!

Unknown to the three, Team RWBY heard them clearly from outside. Blake was the first to react. "Did... Did I just hear someone say, 'keep Ruby rolling'?"

Ruby almost choked in surprise. "Whaaaaaat?!"

Weiss merely shrugged her shoulders. "I have no idea what that means."

Yang looked around, then pointed towards the direction of the main door. "It sounded like it's coming from the music hall. Let's check it out!"

The four girls made their way to the main door, and stood outside the window, watching as two human girls and one Faunus girl were playing.

Sirocca :
Now I know y'all be lovin' this team right here,
R-U-B-Y, Ruby Rose right here!
People in the house put them hands in the air
'Coz if Yang don't care, then we don't care!

Yang:... What?

Sirocca :
Ruby, Weiss, Blake and Yang in the mix
Judge 'em for yourself, Team RWBY's chicks
So where the hell ya at?
Better shut the hell up
And back up, shut up
While we whack this track up!

Sirocca shifted into a series of short quick riffs. Myst had already gotten into the groove and was matching Libby's timing, a grin starting to form on her face as well. Blake blinked at seeing the flaxen-haired girl bobbing her head to the beat. "... I don't believe it."

Sirocca :
Now move in and move out!
Hands up and hands down!
Back up, back up
Tell me what'cha gonna do now?
Breathe in, now breathe out!
Hands up and hands down!
Back up, back up
Tell me what'cha gonna do now?
Keep Ruby rollin', rollin', rollin',
Keep Ruby rollin', rollin', rollin',
Keep Ruby rollin', rollin', rollin',
Keep Ruby rollin', rollin', rollin'!

Weiss shook her head. "I had no idea earlier and I still don't have an idea what all this is about."

Yang's face broke into a grin. "... I see. Whoever wrote that is a genius."

Blake and Ruby looked at the blonde brawler, one disbelieving while the other was bewildered. "Genius, how exactly?" Blake voiced, sarcasm in her voice.

The busty blonde brawler turned to her teammates, arms spread out. "Don't you see? We haven't even graduated and we already have a song made for us! That means only one thing - we're already famous!"

The Schnee heiress scoffed at this. "Oh, please Yang. Who in their right minds would write a song about four first-year Huntresses-in-training?"

Ruby pointed towards the trio inside. "Uh, they would...?"

Sirocca :
You wanna mess with Team RWBY?
Nah, you can't mess with Team RWBY
Because they get it on
Every day and every night
See that teamwork thing right there?
Well they doin' it all the time
So you better get some dynamics
And uh, some better teams
We got the gang set
So don't complain yet
Twenty-four seven, never begging for a raincheck
Old school hunters passing up the hot chicks
That rockin' chick with the bounce in her scythe-step!

Now move in and move out!
Hands up and hands down!
Back up, back up
Tell me what'cha gonna do now?
Breathe in, now breathe out!
Hands up and hands down!
Back up, back up
Tell me what'cha gonna do now?

Keep Ruby rollin', rollin', rollin',
Keep Ruby rollin', rollin', rollin',
Keep Ruby rollin', rollin', rollin',
Keep Ruby rollin', rollin', rollin'!

Hey ladies, hey fellas
And the people that don't give a damn
All the lovers, all the haters
And all the people who call themselves "Hunters"
Professors, instructors
And the people rolling up in Dustjets
Hey humans, and Faunus
And everybody all around Remnant

Ruby crossed her arms. "Hey, wait a second... Isn't that what we were doing this afternoon?"

Weiss' brows drew together. "Now that you mention it, I think it was..."

"... And whoever saw us got inspired to write such a song. About Ruby rolling at the end of the formation." Blake chuckled. "How painfully obvious."

Yang had her arms on her hips, head bobbing and foot tapping to the beat. "I dunno 'bout you guys, but I kinda like it."

Sirocca :
Are! You! Ready!
Now, move in and move out!
Hands up and hands down!
Back up, back up
Tell me what'cha gonna do now?
Breathe in, now breathe out!
Hands up and hands down!
Back up, back up
Tell me what'cha gonna do now?
Keep Ruby rollin', rollin', rollin',
Keep Ruby rollin', rollin', rollin',
Keep Ruby rollin', rollin', rollin',
Keep Ruby rollin', rollin', rollin'!

Unknown to the three inside, Nora had been behind the revolving stage and had her Scroll on record mode. She gently tapped the device to stop recording, and softly chuckled as she made her way out of the auditorium.

The next day, three certain heads jerked up whenever a recording of the song played anywhere nearby.

And a certain orange haired girl had the song on repeat in her own Scroll, listening and singing to the words - loudly - while in the shower, prompting her teammates to yell at her to keep it down.

Well, that was a thing.

I'm off to try and get my muse to help me... Good luck with that, seriously.

Sanguis out for neow!
