I was far too focused on getting my daughter back to waste attention on anything else, but afterward I looked back and saw the piece that didn't quite fit.
I didn't know enough about vampires to name more than the three Courts, but I knew enough to realize that the one that had stormed Arctis Tor with us shouldn't have. Vampires saw humen as prey, food. Why had this one risked his life when Harry asked it of him? Risked it solely for Harry, since he had never met my daughter. Perhaps this one was stupid.
Or, perhaps, more human.
