"Are you sure you`re going to be okay?" I asked sleepily. He chuckled at me and kissed my forehead as we entered Emily and Sam`s house. Today was the battle of the Voutri and I would be worried as hell if the need for sleep didn`t cloud my mind. I mean, it`s crazy early in the morning and the guys gathered all the imprints here just to make sure we`re safe. Unless there`s a magic force field around this house to banish all darkness, I don`t see why they keep bring us here.
"I promise I`ll be alright." He grinned as he led me into the kitchen.
"You shouldn`t make promises you can`t keep." I stole Paul`s muffin.
"Hey!" He shouted.
"No time for that anyway. We need to go now." Sam said. I stuck my tongue out at Paul as he just growled and rolled his eyes. Seth kissed me on the lips.
"You gonna be okay?" He asked walking into the living room with me. I nodded and sat on the couch.
"Yeah, I think I`m just going to take a nap." I yawn and laid my head-on. He chuckled at me.
"Seth!" Sam called.
"Coming!" He shouted back signing. "Love you."
"Love you too," I said quietly before drifting off to slumber.
"Lily! Lily!" My eyes shot opened as I heard someone shout my name. I was all sweaty and panting. I looked up at Emily to see her worried figure. I sat up and scanned my surround. I was in Emily`s living room.
"Are you okay?" She asked as she set a cup of water in my hands. I nodded mutely and took a sip of the water. "I know you`re concerned about Seth. Hell, we all are for the pack. But, everything will be alright."
I sighed, "Thanks, Emily. I`m just scared."
"Look at Olivia over there," She pointed to her who was in the corner with her legs crossed and her eyes closed with a book in front of her.
I raised my eyebrow at Emily, "She looks calm." She shook her head.
"Try to talk to her." I got up and walked over to her.
"Olivia?" No answer. "Liv?" Still no answer. I reached out to touch her, but I only hit something hard. "Ouch." I retreated my hand. I took a closer inspection. Slowly, I reached out to touch her again. I hit my hand again. As if it was a force field. I knocked on it and her eyes opened showing her glowing white eyes. Like the time she got angry and was red.
She breathed in, "You finally awaken." She said calmly. I nodded unsurely.
"Wha-what was that?" I asked.
She sighed. "A calming bubble." She explained.
"But, how?"
"I`m a siren." Okay, time to look at her like she`s insane.
"Like a mermaid?" She gave me a small smile.
"Why does everyone keep asking that?" She asked with a small chuckle.
"Well, that`s the first thing that pops into people's minds when they hear the word siren." She shook her head.
"Well, then no. I`m not a mermaid." I looked disappointed.
"Damn it. I really wanted to see a mermaid." She laughed at me. I heard someone else laugh too. I looked over my shoulder thinking it was Emily, but instead Kim. She was sitting on the other couch quietly. I didn`t even notice her sitting there.
"Hey," She waved shyly. For as long as I`ve known her, she still acts shy around me.
"What`s up." I looked around the room. "Where the others?" I asked. I knew all the guys dragged us here so we can be safe. So, basically, all the imprints are here.
"Claire and Ciara are playing upstairs and Rachel is helping Em in the kitchen." I nodded my head. We started to talk for a while before we ran out of things to talk about. So, we just turned on the tv and watched The Big Bang Theory. From the corner of my eyes, I see Olivia`s eyes flashing red. I scooted away from her a little knowing she`s getting mad.
"Liv, you alright?" I asked her. She shook her head viciously.
"No, I`m not okay!" By then, Emily and Rachel walked out of the kitchen to see what was going on. I didn`t even know myself. She seemed fine a minute ago.
"Olivia you need to calm down." Said Emily.
"I can`t calm down! Emily, they`ve been gone for hours! Each second is worrying the shit out of me! I`m losing my patience that I don`t have time for!" Then she stormed out of the house. We all looked at the door in shock.
"You don`t think she`s going-" Rachael didn`t finish her question because I`m pretty sure we all knew the answer to.
Emily sighed and slowly walked back in the kitchen not know what to do anymore. This whole Ren thing as an immortal child thing is nerve-wracking. I stood to try to comfort Emily, but I only fell to my knees and screamed out in pain. Everyone rushed by side. From the corner of my eyes, I see Ciara and Claire coming downstairs with their dolls in their tiny hands with a confused look on their faces.
"Lily, are you alright?" Kim panicked. I couldn`t answer since the pain was too much to handle. I swelled with pain and my mind was fuzzy. I found it hard to breathe. I clutched onto my chest and took shallow breathes. Seth. I could tell instantly he was hurt. His pain is my pain.
"...S-eth..." I grasped out.
"Seth must be hurt," Emily concluded.
"Help me put her on the couch," Rachael said. Kim and Em nodded and picked me up. Gentle, they set me down as I felt something cool set on my forehead. They all surrounded me. The pain was unbearable. It was even worse when that vampire bit me on the wrist. Great now I`m thinking about that.
"Take deep breaths," Kim said carefully as if she was performing surgery.
"Dear Lord. Oliva already left and now Lily?" Emily wiped her face with her hands
Then everything went black.
My eyes fluttered open. I seriously gotta stop waking up like this. I scratched my head. I looked only to soon realize I was in my room. It was pitch black and I couldn`t see anything.
"You`re awake." The voice startled me. I looked over at the figure. It took me a couple of moments to realize that it was just Seth.
"Seth!" I put him in a tight embrace. He chuckled.
"It`s okay, I`m right here." I pulled away as he brought my chin up so I could look at him, "You`re crying." I didn`t notice until he said something. Even tho I couldn`t see him, his voice told me he was worried.
"I just... you got hurt."
"No, I didn`t." He explained. "We didn`t even fight. I just picked you up from Sam`s and you were still asleep just as I dropped you off."
"What about Olivia?" I asked confused.
He raised his eyebrow, "What about her? When we got back she was in some type of bubble. I don`t know." Okay, what the hell. I thought she lost it and ran out of the door or something. "Are you okay?"
"Um, I`m just going to say yeah." I snuggled deeper into his chest. No words were spoken about this very confused and tension built day.
Okay, before you ask me "What the hell just happen? I`m so confused." **SPOILERS** (Even if it`s been 2 years.) The battle never happened to remember it was all a vision of Alice. So, Seth never really died (THANK GOD) Which is what the pain Lily was feeling. But, since Seth DIDN`T die that never happen neither did the whole Olivia storming out and what not...altho it would have been interesting if she fought the Voultri. ALSO, I JUST POSTED MY PAUL/OC STORY SO CHECK IT OUT! AND REVEIW TELLING ME WHAT YOU THINK.
