*4 Years Later*
I can`t believe it`s been four years already! I mean, I remember it felt like yesterday when I first saw Lily on the beach, imprinting on her, our first date. Now, we`re twenty and in our third year of college together. And now, I`m thinking about asking her to marry me tonight. Maybe, take her to a fancy dinner and finally pop the question. Sounds easy, huh? Well, I assure you that I`m nervous as hell.
"Seth, you look all anxious. What`s wrong?" Blair sat down beside me on the couch. Okay, here`s the story about Blair Martin/Uley. She`s basically Sam`s niece that we never knew about, well to be honest with you neither did he. Did I mention she`s the second female to phrase and she and Brady imprinted on each other? Yeah, so the elders are doing research about that. Not to mention two other phrases. Twins to be exact. Another girl, named Maddie and another boy whose name was Mason. A lot has happened over these past years.
"Um, no reason." I said coolly.
She just looked at me weird, "It`s about Lily isn`t it?"
I scoffed. She thinks she knows me, "Maybe..." I looked away from her glance, "I ain`t saying anything though." I say as if I was being investigated. From the corner of my eyes, I could see her rolling her eyes.
"Come on! I won`t tell. I promise!" I sighed and looked at her.
"Fine." She grinned big and crossed her legs and looked at me like I`m telling her an exciting story. "I`m thinking about...proposing to Lily tonight-"
She squealed and spazzed out. I just looked at her weird. "Damn, woman." She finally calmed down.
"Sorry," Blair apologized. She soon quickly got up all excited, "I have to-"
"Not tell anybody!" I reminded her. She took a deep breath.
"You`re right! I promised."
*5 Minutes Later*
"What`s this about proposing to Lily?!" Leah came into the kitchen. I looked up from the fridge to glare at Blair. She put her hands up in surrender.
"It was an accident!" She defended herself. I rolled my eyes and ran my fingers through my hair annoyed.
Leah looked at her, "Yeah, 'cause you didn`t come up to me screaming the news-"
"Shush!" Blair hissed. I turned my attention to her.
"You said you promised!"
"I just couldn`t contain myself."
"Before you go barking at her," Leah broke off our bickering. "Tell me how you`re going to do 'this'?"
I blushed and scratched the back of my head, "I don`t know, maybe take her out to dinner-"
"No, you have to do something more romantic!" Blair shouted. I glared at her once more.
"I`m mad at you," I say as she looked down.
"Right."
"Well, you`re going to have to be un-mad at her because she`s right." Leah agreed with the blabbermouth.
"Yeah. Now, be un-mad at me." Blair placed her hands on her hips. I breathed out.
"Shouldn`t you be somewhere with Brady or something?" I asked.
She smiled victoriously, "He`s at work." She stuck out her tongue.
"Any-who, you should...dazzle her." Leah said. I raised my eyebrow at her.
"I thought I`d never hear you say the words dazzle in my life. " I surprised.
"Yeah, and if you ever tell anyone I will kill you both." We nodded our head as our life depended on it. "Good."
"I have an idea." Leah and I looked at Blair curious.
Oh, this should be good.
"Why are you so weird?" I laughed as she shrugged as we walked upstairs to her room. We were at the pet store buying our new dog which was a white Havavbese named Brownie because Lily and I were being fatasses at the time and couldn`t find any other name. Any-who, Lily picked up a bag of bird seeds and asked the employee how long does it take for the birds to grow. She`s such a weirdo.
"It said bird seeds and I wanted to know who long it`ll take for the bird to pop out the ground." She giggled. I laughed at her once again. We climbed into bed and I wrapped my arms around her.
"Babe, could you turn off the light?" I asked as she groans.
"You know I`m lazy."
I kissed her cheek. "Please." I murmured against her cheek. She shuffled around and finally did it. It took a moment before I hear her gasp. I felt her sit up and I could see her place her hand over her mouth. I took the opportunity to take the box out of my pocket and open it up. On the ceiling of her room were glow in the dark wording that said 'Will You Marry Me?'
She turned on the light and stared at me in shock. "Are you serious?" I bit down on my bottom lip.
"Lily Dana Taylor, from the moment I set eyes on you I knew you were the one and it wasn`t just the imprinting. I love you and I want to spend the rest of my life with you. Will you do the honor-"
"Hell yeah!" I was pulled into a tight embrace. I laughed and fell backward on the bed. I held onto her with dear life. So much for worrying. "I love you." She says." I kissed her hair.
"I love you too, Mrs. Clearwater."
Sorry for the unexpected skipping in this chapter, but as I said I have a due date on this story so I will be updating frequently and may be skipping. I`ll try to put what happen over the years as much as I can. Honestly, probably not that much did and if it did, I`ll try and explain it. But, they have a puppy and are engaged! Review!
