I stared out the window and wondered what I was doing.
"Is something wrong?" Justine asked.
I smiled at her automatically. "No, nothing's wrong. Why would you think that?"
"You're quiet," she murmured. "Unusually quiet. And your face."
I shook my head. "I'm fine."
She didn't push it.
I returned my gaze out the window, and thought.
I would get to see my little brother in the next few minutes. Hopefully. I mean, he could always not come to Bianca's party. But I thought he would.
I would meet my brother.
And he wouldn't have a clue who I was.
