*Two Weeks Later*

(Lily)

I gasped as my eyes shot open. I panted and looked at the clock.

3:43 A.M

Which means Seth is still on patrol. I whimpered and wrapped my arms around my stomach. I was feeling a bit sick and all I wanted to do was feel Seth's warm arms around me cheering me up. I sat up and looked around the pitch-black room. Only the stars and moon was seen in the dark scenery. I sighed deeply and groan. I wish my wolf was here. I snatched a certain sandy wolf off the dresser and clutched the small stuffed animal my husband gave to me on Valentine's day. I whimpered again and tightened my grip around the toy-like my life depended on it.

Suddenly, I sprinted up for the bathroom. I got on my knees and wrapped my hands around the toilet bowl and started vomiting like crazy. After a while, I finally finished throwing up and just sat on the floor. Good thing my hair was in a ponytail. I scratched my head and leaned against the wall. Why was I feel so ill all of a sudden? I sure hope it's not flu. I inhale deeply before exhaling. I need to calm down. Well, I couldn't calm down when something caught my eye.

A calendar.

But, what was on that calendar scared me the most. A dot that was marked Feb. 21. That dot represents my period.

That was supposed to be a week ago.

My eyes widen and my throat went dry. I slowly placed my hand on my stomach and stared at my now small belly.

There was a possibility a little small person was in me.

I felt tears threatened to escape my eyes. I smiled and looked up at the ceiling. I shook my head and found having a hard time standing. I flushed the toilet and went back into my bedroom. I sat on the bed and eyed my phone before finally deciding to grab it and dial a number.

Ring.

Ring

Rin-

"Hello...?" Leah's sleepy voice asked

I wanted to say something. Anything! But, my voice just wouldn't let me. I sniffled and took a shaky breath.

"Lily, is that you? What's the matter?" She sounded fully alarmed. I still couldn't say anything. I heard her shuffle around. "Lily, I'm on my way."

"Don't forget to bring a pregnancy test," I said quietly. The shuffling stopped and she was quiet for a moment. I almost thought she hung up until she said, "Okay." Then the line went dead.

Not even a half-hour later, Leah knocked on my door with a brown bag. I knew exactly what was in the bag. She tossed it to me.

"A-are you sure?" She asked in an unsure voice.

"I don't know. I missed my period." I muttered. She sat on the couch and offered to wait on me. I made sure to take my slow time to the bathroom and shut the door. Locking it, I opened the bag and held the test in my hands. I stared at for what seems like an eternity before finally taking the test.

Beep.

Beep.

Beep.

Leah and I exchanged looks. "You look at it." I gripped on the sink countertop, afraid of what the answer will really be.

"Okay..." She said slowly. She took one glance at it and her eyes widen, "Oh my gosh."

"What? Is it true? It isn't, is it? You know what? Don't tell me. I'll figure it out in a few months." I rambled. Leah, being her, rolled her eyes and grabbed my shoulders to keep me still.

"It's positive." I stared at her with a happy, excited and scared expression.

"I-I..." I can't even find the words. I let the tears I've held in, out and hugged my sister-in-law tightly. "I'm going to be a mother." I smiled widely.

"And I'm going to be an aunt." She said happily.

"Will-will Seth be happy?" I pulled away from the embrace and looked into her eyes.

She laughed, "Is there ever a time where Seth is not happy? This will blow him over the top!" I smiled from ear to ear at hearing that. "Well, he should be here any second. I should get going. I wish you all my best." Leah started leaving at the back door. I tossed the test into the garbage. I sat on the bed and waited for my husband.

How should I tell him? Hmm, the answer remains unsolved. I heard the door open and a certain wolf came in. He smiled when he saw me.

He came over and kissed my forehead, "Hey, what are you doing up this late, beautiful?"

"Um, nothing." He looked warily, but he didn't give up on his investigation.

"Are you sure? It's like 4 in the morning." He sat on the bed next to me and wrapped his arms around me. I sighed and breathed in his woodsy scent. "And why is Leah scent tracking the house? And it looks like you were crying."

Oh, great. How am I going to explain that?

"Um, Leah was over here today. While you were gone. Don't you remember?" I bit my bottom lip.

"No." He answered truthfully. At least he's honest. "But, I could've forgotten." He sat me down on his lap. He wiped the tears off my face.

"And the tears?"

"Um, allergies."

He rolled his eyes, "Right..."

It was silent for a moment before I spoke up. "Seth,"

"Hm?" I snuggled deeper into his neck.

Here goes nothing.

"How do you feel about...kids?"

Quiet.

Dead quiet.

"What?" I sat up and looked him in the eyes.

"How do you feel about kids?"

He smiled, "I love them. I can't wait until we have some of our own." The thought of that made me smile. Having little footsteps around the house. Cheerful baby giggles and Seth being the loving dad.

"Yeah, me either."

"If we did, our children will look like you." I giggled.

"No, they'll look like you."

"Um, they'll have your beautiful eyes and my hair."

"Why can't they have my hair?"

"Because, if they have your hair, then they'll probably have my eyes and I want to see your gorgeous eyes in our little children." I blushed as he kissed my nose.

"But, I'd like to see your eyes."

He chuckled, "We'll just have to wait and see."

Before catching myself, "Sooner than you expect." My eyes widen at what I just said. Seth raised his eyebrows in confusion before that confusion changed to realization.

"You mean..." He placed his hand on my stomach with a shocked expression. I slowly nodded as I bit down on my lip. "You're...pregnant?"

"Yes," I stated quietly. All of a sudden, I felt a tight embrace.

"Can't breathe." I manage to get out. He pulled away and blushed.

"Sorry." He said selfishly.

"You're happy?"

"Of course. How could I not?"

"I don't know." I looked away as my cheeks turned a rosy-colored. I felt his middle and index finger lift my chin in his direction. His lips were on mines. The kiss was passionate, yet still heated. He ran his tongue on the bottom of my lip, begging for entrance. I opened my mouth so his tongue could enter. Fighting for determination, I moaned as he pulled me closer to his warm body. He pulled away and started leaving trails down my neck. I breathe in heavily wondering how he still had the breath to continue this.

Maybe the fact that he's a freaking wolf would explain it.

I moaned loudly as he kissed my sensitive spot on my neck. I could hear him growl. Suddenly, it was all gone. I looked at him disappointed.

He smirked, "Does that fully answer your question?"

"Maybe. I'm still not happy though." I crossed my arms and pout.

He chuckled, "Sorry." He kissed my cheek and laid me down on the bed. I giggled as he left soft kisses on my stomach.

I can't wait to start my future with my husband.
