Merida's Pov
In a minute, Baby Tooth came back. What is it? Asked Sandy in Sign Language. The bird fairy squeaked out a response. "Oh, no." Said Tooth, getting pale. "What? What is it?" Asked Rapunzel. "Pitch was at the Tooth Palace. But he didn't destroy the teeth." Said Tooth, confused. "He only took 3 sets of teeth." "Did these happen to belong to Merida, Hiccup, and Rapunzel?" Asked Jack. "Yes." Said Tooth. "What's so special about a bunch o' teeth?"I asked. I looked at Hiccup and could practically see the gears turning in his head. "They hold memories, don't they? When I woke up on Berk, there was a rumor going around-some people said the gods took their happy memories and stored them inside of weapons for the Vikings to find on the battlefield." Said Hiccup. "Correct. You guys had a life before you became spirits, as I'm sure you've guessed. The memories of that time are inside those teeth." Said Tooth. With lightning-fast reflexes, I had my bow in my hand. "Nothing, spirit or otherwise, steals my memories." I said. "Uh, Sheila, I don't know. You don't know what the creep's capable of." Said Bunny. "Do you guys know what Pitch's Lair looks like?" I asked. Tooth looked like she wanted to argue, but I saw flames licking my hands and knew she couldn't argue. "Yes. Unfortunately. It looks like someone flipped a Citadel upside down, attached cages, and painted it black and gray." Said Bunny. I nodded and closed my eyes, trying to picture an upside down Citadel with cages. "Merida, wait." I heard Rapunzel's voice say. "Yes?" I said. "We're coming with you. You can't expect to just walk in there, not be noticed by Pitch, and get out with the teeth." Said Hiccup. "Hey, Hiccup, how fast can you fly?" Asked Jack. "I would say really fast." Said Hiccup. "I'll beat you there." Said Jack. "Oh, it is on, Frosti." Said Hiccup. And with that, they were off into the sky. I huffed. "Boys." Rapunzel and I said together. I turned into a Wisp and teleported away. In a couple of seconds, I was standing in front of a hole. I turned around and another hole appeared in the ground, this one ringed with flowers. Rapunzel came out of it. "Whatever's inside blocks teleportation. I couldn't get inside." Said Rapunzel. "Wahoo!" Said Jack. I saw the two boys flying in to land. Hiccup landed a 6 seconds before Hiccup did. "Who knew a kid could be so slow?" Joked Hiccup. Jack punched him on the shoulder. "Kid? I'm 302 years old! "Said Jack. Hiccup and I laughed. "Exactly. You're a kid. I'm around 1000 years old, and Hothead here is probably at least as old as I am." Said Hiccup. "1312 and countin'." I said, laughing at Jack and Rapunzel's expression. "1312!? I'm only 214." Said Rapunzel. "Hey, I'm not the youngest anymore." Joked Jack. "Oh, shut it." Said Rapunzel. "Enough chit-chat. Let's get our teeth back." I said. Never thought I'd say that. Then again, I never thought I'd be the actual season of Summer, or have to fight the King of Nightmares himself. Jack jumped into the hole in the ground, yelling with glee. Rapunzel jumped in after him, doing the same. All that was left was Hiccup and I. Hiccup kept on looking down the hole-probably trying to find out if there was a huge monster at the bottom. "Oh, for the love of Dunbroch." I said, then pushed him down the hole. "Here goes." I muttered and jumped into the hole.
