A/ N: Two Chapters in one day? Wahoo!
Hiccup's Pov
"Oh, for the love of Dunbroch." I heard Merida say. She then pushed me down the hole. "Merida!" I yelled. I landed, surprisingly, on my feet. Jack and Rapunzel were talking about something, memories from what I could hear. I heard someone yelling in the tunnel behind me and got out of the way. Merida fell on the ground. "Ow." She complained. "Let's go." I said. We started walking and found the room with more cages then we had come across in the hallways. "I see you found my house. How do you like it?" Said Pitch's voice. Jack got into a defensive position, aiming his staff at the shadows. Rapunzel had her frying pan in one hand and her hair as a whip in the other. Jack shot ice at one area where we had heard Pitch's voice come from. "Missed me." Said the Boogeyman. I felt the back of my throat heat up. Rapunzel threw her hair at where she thought Pitch was. It wrapped around him. "Looks like you've got me." Said Pitch. He then turned into Nightmare Sand and which went into Rapunzel's hair. "Zel!" Said Jack. "Get out of my hair!" Said Rapunzel, vines in her hair trying to get the Nightmare Sand out. Pitch was thrown a couple feet away and landed on his feet with a catlike grace. Once the back of my throat felt like one of Merida's flaming arrows, I breathed in and out, releasing a large swath of purple fire. Pitch looked at the fire and, just before he would've gotten hit by it, he turned into Nightmare Sand and dodged it. 'Stupid Boogeyman' I thought.
Now, that's not nice to think, it whispered. The voice was malicious and cold. "Get out of my head." I growled. You know, you're more like me than Jack is. "Oh? And why is that?" I asked, my voice still in a low growl. Why, we were both so alone for such a long time, for one. Autumn represents the coming of Death, of Winter, of Fear. "You don't know what you're talking about." I said. I was pretty sure that I was slipping into Old Norse, because they looked confused. I am sure that I do know what I'm talking about. You are afraid of being alone after 1000 years. Frankly, I do not blame you. I wasn't believed in. I was alone. You are the same way. "No, I'm NOT!" I shouted.
Third Person Pov
Hiccup's reptilian eyes glowed green and he breathed purple fire in the direction of Jack. Merida had a hard time redirecting the purple fire, as it came from a Dragon, but she did. The fire hit a wall. "Hey, Hiccup, what's gotten into you?" Asked Rapunzel. "Shut up, Pitch. Shut up and leave. Us. Alone." Said Hiccup.
