Toru: going on hiatus after you finish this arc is just evil

*toru holds up her sword next to kalulu's neck*
Tour: you will finish this story!
Me: threaten all you want I won't budge. Holidays are come up and I'll be busy with school and holiday crap. I might come back in 2014 but who knows
Previously:
"My children, we face a great threat, the heavens have decided to place judgment on human kind and if found corrupted beyond repentance then all of our lives will be forfeit. I don't know about you but I don't intend on dying because of mankind's mistakes. So we must fight the invaders and eradicate their weapon before the sun rises! Toru and Hitomi will be your acting generals and I expected you to follow their orders without questions, am I clear?!"
"Yes queen!" the spidernoids answered.
Toru stepped forward. "Alright spidernoids listen up, we have to hit them hard and hit them fast. We got to take out that weapon before it has a chance to charge. They wont be expecting so many reinforcements and the spell I casted wont last long so grab a weapon and move out!"
Chapter 34: Judgment Day (part 2): Banning Together
Bermuda triangle-spider island-5 minutes until the solstice
The monks had landed on the beach and dojo immediately felt the barriers magic working on him, taking away is abilities to fly.
"What in tarnation-?" clay and the others looked to the sky and saw the angels cannon in the sky, nearly fully charged.
Kimiko looked down at the sandy beach solemnly. 'She was right; there is no hope for humanity'
"Come on we gotta stop that thing!" Raimundo shouted.
The dragon of wind took point and the rest followed, Kimiko being last, her heart still full of doubt.
As they reached the middle of the island and what they saw was unbelievable, some type of spider-things battling the angels.
"Well, well, well, look who decided to join the party." The monks turned around and saw Toru, and Hitomi with minor wounds on them.
"What are you doing here?!" Raimundo demanded
"The same reason as you. We have no intention of dying either you know." Hitomi said with a smile.
"its about time you got here too, I need you to thin the ranks near the cannon." Toru said.
"and why should we take orders from you? Its because of people like you and Chase that the whole world is endanger!" Raimundo shouted
"Stop it Rai!" everyone turned and looked at Kimiko. "None of that matters now; they wouldn't be here if they didn't want to die too. Besides we need their help its not like we're fighting just one powerful opponent or Jack Spicer, their angels –divine beings. Face it Rai no matter how you look at and no matter how much you may hate them we can't do this by ourselves."
Toru was surprised, besides Raimundo she thought Kimiko would be the last person to come to her defense. Whatever that wasn't important now. Toru told them the plan and the monks simply nodded as they went off.
"Toru do you really think this is going to work? You're making them go without back up in a position we haven't even begun to secure." Hitomi said.
"I'm well aware of that, I have no doubt they'll thin the ranks, but this is war and there will always be casualties." Toru said with a slight grin
The monks fought the angels with everything they had.
"Wudai Mars Fire!" Kimiko shoot out several balls fire only to have it absorbed by an angel's armor. 'Ok that didn't work' she thought, "Let's try this instead. Hiya!" Kimiko lunged at the angel, if her fire wouldn't work then brute force would have to.
She matched the angel blow for blow until she finally got a kick in sending the angel flying through trees knocking him unconscious.
Clay jumped into the air "Wudai Crater Earth!" he punched down breaking an angel's shield and the resulting backlash buried him in the sand.
Raimundo flew into the air. "Wudai Star Wind!" he created a blast of slicing air knocking 5 angels out of the sky.
Omi manipulated the water in a small lake, "Wudai Neptune Ice!" he blasted the water at several angels and the water froze stopping them in their tracks.
Kimiko was a little peeved that her attack was the only one that didn't work.
In the sky Raphael and Michael watched the battle from below. As soon as judgment was cast they had summoned reinforcements and a good thing they did to it was unforeseen that those girls would come up with so much back up.
Raphael was itching for a fight, a Spartan born and raised; he could barely hold back his warrior spirit.
"I cant take much more of this," he growled. "A glorious battle being fought right in front of my eyes and my talents are being wasted up here."
"We need to guard the cannon Raphael, you know this." Michael said calmly.
The Spartan angel grunted. "No! You are perfectly capable of guarding it yourself; I will not have this battle lost to me!"
Raphael grabbed the giant ax off his back and swooped down. Michael sighed in frustration, he was always like this, anytime there was a fight the blood would rush to his head and there was no stopping him.
On the ground Hitomi shot 3 arrows simultaneously and no matter of defense could stop them, and once they pierced there target the arrows burst into flames engulfing its victim. But she was having a tough time avoiding the enemies that were in closer proximity.
"You know the arrows are cool and badass and all but I'm gonna need a closer combat weapon!" Hitomi shouted
"Requip!" Toru made to pentagrams appear around Hitomi's writs and moved down her hand giving her flexible metal paws around her own. "Happy?"
Hitomi made saw blades come out. "Oh yeah." The clouded leopard said with a devilish smirk.
Right outside of the barrier that creates the Bermuda triangle chase hovers right in front of it, and touches it. The barrier sent out a repelling force.
'Hundreds of years and its still as strong as ever'
'Can feel mate's magic…and something else'
'Then I suggest we hurry'
Chase flew upward and put some distance between him and the barriers. His hands glowed a dark green glow and shoots out a large energy blast that went all over the barrier.
The green energy rippled the barrier.
"AAHH!" Aranea sunk to the ground in pain.
Toru block an angel from attacking the spider queen while she was down. She skewered the angel and let his body fall.
"Whats wrong?" Toru asked
"The barrier its under attack by some sort of magic."
"That could be anyone." Hitomi said.
"It was dark magic."
"Well that narrows it down." Toru said with a smile. She was sure Chase would find a way to get in and help defeat these things. "Now come on Aranea, get up, its time to raise some hell." She changed her IPod's music to Creatures of the Night by The Creepshow.
Aranea smile and so did Hitomi.
"So whats our plan?" Aranea asked
"We need to clear a path to the cannon so I can destroy it"
"I think we can do that." Hitomi's metal claws turned into large razor blades
The spidernoids fought some of the angel invaders but a sound that only there kind can hear, from there queen told them to fall back and they did so without question, they disappeared within the shadows.
Then out of the darkness several webs were shot out and grabbed several angels. The only thing there comrades heard was there screams.
In her human form Aranea jumps down from the trees and using her claws she guts 7 angels, and then runs towards more holding her staff and uses its magic to zap the angels wings off. She then gets infront of one and extends her mouth to her more arachnid one and bites down hard on another angels neck and lift him over her head.
The blood splatters everywhere drenching her in it. She lets go and his neck barely hangs on by a piece of flesh.
The now wingless angels look on in horror at this demon. Aranea snaps her fingers and her spidernoid warriors return to finish them off.
Toru continues the onslaught. "FULMEN!" She blast one with her lightning angel and decapitates another using her bare hands. She then unsheathes her sword and walks towards more angels. In a flash she's in front of one of them sliced in half. She ran towards the others cutting them in half as well. Blood splattered her body. As Toru skewers another angel several of them take to the sky and shot arrows at her. Toru just kept running towards them, her sword appearing to have a mind of its own blocking the attacks. She jumped in the air and killed them as well.
Some of the scattered blood landed on Hitomi's face, hands, and chest. The smell of fresh hit her nostrils and the sound of battle called to her. She couldn't take it, she had to kill something!
She sliced one angel into tiny pieces and then turned her metal claws into hooks slicing through more.
The monks looked on completely flabbergasted.
"No, no way they're this strong." Raimundo said in disbelief
"Where they just going easy on us this whole time?" Omi said talking out loud.
Raimundo balled up his fist so tightly his nail dug deep into his hand causing it to bleed. 'She's only Chase's apprentice, she's not nearly as strong as him but she took down these guys like it was nothing. Was Chase holding back all this time too?' He thought.
The assault continued on the barrier and Chase was beginning to weaken it. The attacks made the sky look like it was rippling.
'Just a little more'
'Something is happening to mate, can feel her magic changing'
'I know I can feel it too'
Toru created black energy wings and flew into the air straight at Michael. She swung her sword and created an energy blast but the angel dodged it. The blast instead went to the top of the barrier weakening it further.
Michael used his magic to summon light arrow and fired them at Toru. But it was of no avail, Toru used her new shield to create a protective orb blocking the attacks. There were so many however that many were still hitting the ground, spidernoids and angels alike scattered as to not be hit.
"Damn him! Using that attack on the fucking island and against a mortal no less." Raphael grunted.
There weapons clashed creating an epic light show. Michael didn't understand she was just a mortal she shouldn't be able to hold her own against him.
'What is she!? A mere mortal should not have these types of skills. To use fighting styles that are only know to us its impossible. Wait can she a-'
Toru noticed an opening and took a shot slicing downward and cutting off one of his wings sending him to plummet.
Raphael swung his ax taking down many of the spidernoid warriors. After receiving so much damage they reverted back to their original form. The spiders tried to get away but the brutal angel squashed them. Raphael then turned catching a familiar scent.
"You there, beast, stop!"
Hitomi stopped in her tracks and turned to the angel. She had her claws at the ready.
"You reek of Orion's scent." He growled.
Hitomi tilled her head in confusion, "You-you know Orion?"
"Yeah, the coward fled in battle and you carry his scent who would have thought he was still alive. Must have been afraid of death too." He chuckled and Hitomi lowered her head. "You look like her, so tell me beast was it chance or did he make you look like her so he could have some sort of pity fuck?"
"Take it back." Hitomi said lowly.
"Huh? What was that now?"
"I said take it back! Take back what you said about Orion being a coward! Either you take it back or I make you." Hitomi growled with a hint of death in her voice.
The Spartan angel laughed. "You have a warrior spirit, perhaps you will but up more of a fight than these insects." He grabbed his ax tightly. "Come beast!"
Hitomi hissed and they ran at each other with full force.
Michael struggle to stand up. He fell and fell hard. Just as he was about to regain his footing Toru's sword was pointed at his throat.
"Now shut off the cannon and I'll send you back home quick and painless." Toru said.
"Judgment has already been cast, there is no stopping it." Michael said holding his injured wing.
"Then cast a new judgment." She demanded
"Impossible. Beside even if it were you'd be too busy. Did you really think I wasn't watching, learning your weaknesses, I knew you'd be a resourceful mortal but didn't know you'd be this resourceful. So I had a trump card."
A scream was heard and Michael looked up with a smile and then so did Toru. Her eyes widened as to what she saw. It cant be.
"Karen?"
She saw her little sister being dangled in the air by 2 angels with their swords to her neck.
"So will you stop me or save her. Make your choice."

And there you have it. I hope you enjoyed it. So what you'd think? What choice do you think Toru will make. And who win the battle of Hitomi vs. Raphael? And what could Toru possibly be? any guesses? And honestly guys I know that a lot of you are mad at me about me going on hiatus after I'm done with this arc but please understand I write to test my abilities as a story teller and entertain the masses. So your love for it literally is my driving force and when I don't see it I don't have that motivation to write. So pretty plez with sugar on top review.
