Onceler's Pov

I ran through the portal with the children Guardians. "Why do I have to carry them?" I asked. "'Cause it was your idea." Replied Jack. I looked around and saw what looked like the inside of a hotel, but different. There were little wolf-human children running around with a wolf man chasing them. I saw a girl with short black hair and pale skin. Her eyes widened when she saw us. To my shock, she flew over to us. "Oh my gosh! I haven't seen humans here for a couple hundred years! Hi, I'm Mavis Dracula. What're your names?" Asked the girl speedily. "Um, I'm Onceler and this is Jack." I said. The other monsters were looking at the girl like she was crazy. "Mavis, you OK? 'Cause you're talking to nothing but air. Unless Griffin's playing a trick on me." Said a mummy. "No, Griffin's not here. And I'm fine." Said Mavis. "OK." Said the mummy. It seems he saw a friend, because he ran past Mavis and through me to get to the doors. I hate that feeling, when people walk through me. It feels as if someone poured ice cubes down your back. I laughed at the adorable look on Mavis's face-wait, adorable? "What's so funny?" Asked Mavis. "Nothing, nothing." I gasped. "It's just that I'm still not used to the look on believers' faces when they see someone walk through me." "How can you see us?" Asked Jack. "Most people can't see you?" Asked Mavis.

"There's a reason why that mummy just walked through the Living Twig here." Said Frost. "Hey! I'm not that thin." I protested. "No, but you're tall, and that doesn't help." Laughed Frost. I saw black sand creep around the edges of the hotel ground. "How does he keep finding us?" I muttered. "Jack? We need to go. Now." I said while trying to get baby Sandy away from the black sand. "Fine." Said Jack. "Hey Mavis, how would you like to get out of this hotel?" Asked Jack. The black-haired girl smiled. "I haven't been out of here in ages. Could we not travel in daytime, though? Or at least not in the sun?" "Why would you- Never mind. Let's go." I said. I made a Truffula tree grow in front of us. "Aww, these children are so cute! Can I hold them?" Asked Mavis. "Sure." I said. Mavis grabbed Sandy from the ground, where the black sand was quickly covering. "Jack, come on." I said. "I'll handle Pitch. You guys go. Take care of the Guardians and try to get them back to normal. I'll try to get Pitch to tell me about the others." Said Jack. I sighed-why was he so stubborn? "Fine. Be careful, Jack. If you are taken then I won't know who else to gather for the team. You are the most powerful spirit besides the other Seasons. If Pitch takes you then the world's in big trouble." I said. "I know, Onceler. If I'm not captured, then I'll tell the wind to take me to you. If I don't come to you, then go get Elsa. I want you to get the most powerful spirit you can find first, though. Now go!" Said Jack, pushing Mavis and me into the tree.

We appeared in the Truffula Forest. "Stubborn Winter spirit. He's going to get himself killed." I muttered. "Winter spirit? Are you a spirit too? Is that why Murray walked through you?" Asked Mavis. "Yeah. You're not a spirit? You haven't died before?" I asked. "No. I'm a vampire." Said Mavis. I saw Mavis's skin begin to steam. "Let's go underground." I said. I stomped my foot on the ground and a hole appeared. I jumped into the hole, dragging Mavis with me. The hole closed. "Oh, that's just great. Now I can't see a thing." I said. "I can. Is there any way you can track a spirit?" Asked Mavis. "No." I said. I heard a whinny. "This way!" Said Mavis, dragging me by the arm. "Ow ow ow ow ow ow ow! Strong grip." I remarked. I stomped the ground and thorny vines appeared to block the horses from us. I filled in the gaps. "That should hold them." I said. "So... Where are we?" I asked. "I don't know." "I'll get some light." I said and the vines that were always around my hands started glowing yellowish. "Bioluminescence. That's what happens when you get caught up in an experiment to make bioluminescent trees." I said, wincing at the memory of being experimented on by the one person who could see me. I held my right hand in front of me. It glowed brighter. I had unwittingly almost walked into an abyss. "Whoa, careful." Said Mavis, who had caught me by my glowing left hand. She blushed. I felt my face getting hot. "Ahem. So, why couldn't you sense the hole?" Asked the vampire curiously. "I was focusing on keeping my hands lit up." I shrugged. "How are we going to get across?" "I have an idea." Said Mavis. In a flash of purple, she had turned into a bat. "Grab onto my feet." Said Mavis. "Are you sure you can hold me?" I asked. "Yes, I'm sure! I can hold up to at least 50 times my weight." Said the bat. I sighed and grabbed onto her feet. She zoomed across the chasm. In a minute, we were across. Mavis turned back into a human and fell on top of me. "Oh, sorry-that's my fault." "Here, let me-um-this is awkward." I said. We had only succeeded in being more tangled up. "Need any help?" Asked a voice. "Who are you?" I asked. "Now? I usually go by Flynn Rider."
