Third Person Pov
"Does the Nightmare Sand hurt you any?" Asked Onceler. "Sometimes. The closer I get to Night Mares or, say, the controller of Nightmare Sand, then it starts to hurt a lot." Said Flynn. "Anyway, your turn. Tell me why you need me and why you need to get to Denmark." Said Flynn, smiling at the two in front of him. "Well, I don't know the whole story, since someone never explained it to me, so I'll let Onceler explain." Said Mavis, hitting Onceler's arm. "Ow. OK, so Jack Frost came to get me at the Truffula Forest." Started Onceler. "Wait, Jack Frost? The Guardian Jack Frost?" Asked Flynn, looking amazed. "Yes, how many Jack Frosts do you know of? He said that Punzel was taken by Pitch. I went to get her back. We then went to Santa Claus's Palace, where there were Nightmares everywhere. We found the Guardians as babies." Said Onceler. "That explains them." Said Flynn, nodding his head toward the babies. The babies were so quiet that everyone at the meadow had forgotten that they were there. "We then went to pick up Mavis at that hotel in Transylvania. The horses somehow found us and Jack held them off, but I think he has been captured. He then told me to gather the most powerful spirit I could find and then go to Arendelle to get a girl named Elsa." Said Onceler. "If Jack told you to go find Elsa, and if he's been captured by Pitch, then couldn't Pitch know where you're headed?" Asked Flynn, biting a double-chocolate cookie. "Where'd you get that?" Asked Mavis. "Oh. Max can get through the barriers of the caverns, and he's fast as lightning." Said Flynn. Max whinnied, looking smug. "Oh, shut it." Said Flynn, hitting him with his hand.
"So. Arendelle. Let's go." Said Flynn. "Wait, you said that you're not able to get out of the caverns." Said Mavis. "Well, it's funny, that. See, when I got that Nightmare Sand stuck in my body, I discovered that I could walk out of the caverns for a little bit. I guess the walls think I'm just part of them. It usually only lasts for an hour or so. Once I use it, I can't go back to the surface for another week. Maybe there is not enough Dark energy and Nightmare Sand in my body." Said Flynn, shrugging. "OK then." Said Mavis. "How do we get out of here?" Asked Mavis. "Hey Max, would you lend a hoof?" Asked Flynn, smiling at him. Max snorted. "I'll give you a couple of apples." Said Flynn. Max nodded. Flynn got on Max's back. "I'll take Mavis up to the surface and use a shield for her sun problem. Can you teleport? Excellent. I'll see you at Arendelle." Said Flynn. Max turned into as blur as he went through a tunnel. Onceler went through a Truffula tree. He appeared in a kingdom covered in snow. "No fair, you beat us!" Said Mavis from behind Onceler, making him jump. Mavis laughed along with Flynn. "Flynn, shield please!" Said Mavis, who was starting to smoke. Flynn nodded. He waved his hand and a blue-green shield appeared around Mavis before disappearing. "Don't worry, it's just invisible. Figured you would not want a glowing blue-green shield around you. OK, so where's Elsa... whoa!" Said Flynn, looking around. Ice spikes grew out of the ground and surrounded the group. A beautiful girl with platinum blonde hair and a dress with ice patterns on it walked up to the group. None of the humans seemed to pay her any attention."Um, hi. I'm Flynn Rider." Said Flynn. "Flynn Rider? I'm sorry, I didn't recognize you." Said the blonde girl. "I didn't recognize you! You look different. Did you do something with your hair? Anyway, Onceler, Mavis, this is Queen Elsa of Arendelle. How are you?" Asked Flynn, more relaxed than before. "Good. How's Rapunzel?" Asked Elsa. "Onceler and Mavis here think that she's been captured. We need your help at getting her back and stopping Pitch." Said Flynn. The ice spikes around the three immortals had disappeared. Onceler noticed that wherever Elsa stepped, snowflakes designs formed on the ground.
"Of course I'll help you if it's for Punzie." Said Elsa. Flynn groaned lightly. He fell to the ground, holding his heart. "Flynn! Are you OK?" Asked Elsa, reaching for his hand. Flynn took it, then was lifted up by Elsa. "Yeah. I'm OK. I think. You remember how I told you about the Nightmare poisoning in my heart?" Said Flynn. Mavis pointed to the sky. The others looked to where the vampire was pointing and saw a person flying. He had silver hair and a staff. "It's Jack!" Said Onceler. The spirit of Winter stumbled when he landed. Onceler caught him when he was about to fall. "You OK? What happened?" Asked Mavis. "Pitch. He captured me. He has my friends Hiccup, Merida, and Punzie in cages. We have to get them out." Said Jack. Flynn eyed him warily. His heart hurt the closer Jack got to him. "Jack, do you have any Nightmare sand on you?" Asked Flynn. "Who are you? Also, why would you care?" Asked Jack, eyeing Flynn cautiously. "Name's Flynn Rider. Anyway, I sort of have a Nightmare sand poisoning in my heart. It hurts the closer I am to Nightmare sand." Said Flynn. Onceler looked at Jack carefully. Was it his imagination, or did Jack smile mischievously at that? Onceler shook his head, sure it was his imagination. "I might've gotten some on me from fighting Night Mares." Suggested Jack. "Anyway, we should go." "Where are the babies?" Asked Mavis. "I think they're back at the caverns." Said Onceler. For a minute, Jack looked confused. Instead of asking the question on his mind, he asked a different one. "What caverns?" Asked Jack. "The underground caverns where I've lived for 30 years, and got that poisoning." Said Flynn.
"So, could you show us to where the place where Pitch is?" Asked Mavis. Jack smiled. "Of course." Said Jack. Flynn frowned. He still did not trust the white-haired spirit. "Guys, could I talk to you for a minute?" Asked Flynn. "Sure. What is it?" Asked Jack. "Without you." "Oh. OK." Said Jack. He looked a little angry, and flew off to freeze something. "What is it?" Asked Flynn. "I don't trust Jack. He seems off. He has an odd aura to him, as if he has been… I don't know, tainted or something." Said Flynn, blue-green sparks coming from his hands. "Calm down, Flynn. I know you're sensitive to auras, but Jack's an OK guy. I remember meeting him when I first became a spirit. He's not tainted." Said Elsa, laughing at such an odd assumption. "Fine. Believe what you want to." Said Flynn, shrugging his shoulders. In a couple of seconds, Jack came back. "Great! Let's go." Said Jack. Flynn got on Max. "Bud, follow the silver-haired traitor, OK?" Flynn muttered into Max's ear. Max nodded. "I think we might be able to get there by ourselves." Said Onceler. He made a Truffula tree grow and walked through it with Mavis. Elsa got on Max also. "Is it OK that I go with you on Max?" Asked Elsa. Flynn had a blush on is face. "Of course, Queen Elsa." Said Flynn. "No need for formalities. You know I hate those. Plus, you aren't even a resident of my Kingdom." Said Elsa. Flynn laughed. "True. Max, let's go!" Said Flynn. Max followed the flying Jack.
