Third Person Pov
"Jack, are you sure this is the place?" Asked Onceler. "Yeah, I'm sure. This was where Pitch took me." Said Jack. Flynn, again, was not too sure that Jack was on their side. The Nightmare Sand around the tunnel in the ground seemed to move towards the white-haired spirit. Jack was about to go in the hole when Flynn stopped him by putting his hand on the older spirit's shoulder. "Shouldn't we practice with our powers first? We should make note of who has what powers." Said Flynn. In truth, he wanted to both practice and stall for time to convince the others that Jack was evil-for he was almost certain that Jack worked for Pitch now. Jack scowled, then smiled. He could make this work in his favor. "Why don't we tell each other about our weaknesses, too? It would help, so we could protect the others against Pitch better." Said Jack. "Are you sure? Because one of us could easily use that information against the others if we were to decide to work with Pitch." Said Flynn, inwardly scowling. Although Jack's reasons were good, he couldn't want to know their weaknesses for only that. "Ugh. Flynn, I'm telling you, Jack isn't working for Pitch!" Huffed Elsa, putting her hands in the air. The ground became a bit icy because of the emotional outburst. "The Snow Queen's right, Flynn. Jack isn't working for Pith. He's given us no reason to suspect him." Chimed in Mavis. "Yet." Grumbled Flynn, frustrated that his teammates wouldn't believe him.
"You thought I was working for Pitch? Why in Manny's name would I ever do that?" Asked Jack, smiling at Flynn. Inwardly, he was seething with rage. This thief, for Jack was sure he was such, managed to figure it out! He then smiled his creepy smile again. He shall be the first to die for trying to warn the weaklings. "Jack, would you stop smiling like that? It's creeping me out." Said Mavis, looking at Jack, who still had on his creepy smile. "OK then. So, Flynn, what're your abilities?" Asked Onceler, trying to resolve the tension between the group, for fear that they either would turn into Popsicles or be blinded by the light from Flynn."Well, I can construct things made of light." Supplied the Prince of Corona, demonstrating by making a shield out of light around his fist. "So, like Green Lantern then?" Asked Onceler. "Exactly. Except I don't have a Lantern Ring or a costume." Said Flynn, smiling gleefully that someone had brought up comics. In those caves, he'd had nothing to read, and so grabbed comic books when he went to the surface. He'd loved them ever since. However, I digress. Let's get back to the story, shall we? "I can control light. I can also see auras and absorb the darkness of auras. I don't know what the side effects from that could be, though." "Let's keep that as a last resort." Said Onceler, writing on a drawing pad-he'd apparently just had a drawing pad and a pencil with him. "Elsa, abilities?" "I can create ice and control snow." Said the Snow Queen, freezing the grass around her by waving her hand over it. "Mavis?"
"I can shapeshift, but that's limited. I can turn into a bat, a dolphin, a fox, an eagle, and an owl. I have enhanced senses and I can stick to walls." Said Mavis, laughing when the group jumped. They had forgotten that the vampire was there. "So, like Spiderman?" Asked Flynn. "Sort of." Replied Mavis. "I'm also stronger and faster than a human." "Jack, what about you?" Asked the vampire. Jack frowned mentally. He would have to tell them his weaknesses to keep up the charade. Oh, well. Besides, more likely than not, Elsa would have the same weaknesses as him. "I can, like Snow Queen, control ice and snow. I can fly, too." Said Jack. He didn't want to give too much about his abilities away. "What about you. Living Twig?" Asked Mavis, smiling as Onceler stomped his foot and vines grew out of the ground, toward Mavis. They stopped growing when they were at her feet. "Don't call me that! I'm calm. So, I can control vines and plants. I'm good with an axe or a scythe. I'm flexible and faster than a human. I have above average stamina." Said Onceler. Huh. No wonder Punzie picked that gut for the team. Wait, what? Thought Jack, confused at what he thought. Where had that come from?
"Weaknesses?" Asked Onceler, twirling his pencil in two fingers. He knew this was a touchy subject. After all, they were telling each other what could wound them. "I'm weak against fire or heat. Why do you think it's usually chilly in Arendelle?" Said Elsa. Onceler nodded, writing down the information. "Well, I'm not a spirit. I don't know if that's a weakness or not. I'm pretty much vulnerable to anything a vampire is." Said Mavis. "OK. Well, again, I don't know the side effects of the darkness control thing, and I've never been a big fan of closed spaces after I almost drowned with Blondie. There's always the strain of when I make an energy construct really big. If a weapon is covered in my blood, then it can get through my energy constructs." Said Flynn Rider. "That's just weird. Jack, your turn." Said Mavis. "Well, my weaknesses are the same as Elsa's." Said Jack. "Twig?" "I told you, I- Never mind. It won't do any good. Since I can control plants, they're sort of connected to me. Whenever the plants that I'm connected to dies, I feel a sting. I act as if it doesn't hurt me. The more the plant's connected to me, the more I feel it. If it's, say, one of these vines that are connected to my body, then I'll be in really bad pain. I also hate smog. I've lived with it once, I won't live with it again. It always gets in my lungs." Said Onceler. "OK then. Let's practice, then let's go fight the Boogeyman." Said Mavis.
