Chapter 1 alone…
I awoke in the darkness of the cold night. I can't remember a thing my mind was just a blank slate. Just lying there on the cold hard ground. Staring into the distant forest. But out of nowhere my body started to move. Before I knew it I was standing up embraced by the little moonlight coming through the trees. My vision was slowly adjusting to the darkness of the night. I was scared, very scared. I started to look around in a panic for someone or something to show up, but nothing did. Just standing there all alone in the middle of some forest with only a pair of pants, a long sleeve shirt, and shoes.
Then out of the corner of my eye I saw a dark cave about 15 meters away. My body subconsciously walked toward it. It was as if the cave was calling with a warm and kind voice. As I entered the cave there was a small fire already there as if someone was here.
"H-hello is anyone there?" I said with a stutter.
"What a strange creature we have here" said a womanly voice at the back of the cave. I tried to strain my eyes to the back of the cave but it was pitch black further into the cave.
"How did you get here young one?" said the voice.
"I-I don't know I can't remember a thing, I just woke up wherever this place is" I said trying to figure out who's talking to me. Just as I was starting to calm down from what I just experienced from the cold to the cave I heard something move. Claws as tall as a grown man. Teeth that could tear trough trees. Scales white as snow and covered in dust as old as time itself. A dragon was in front of me. I was frozen in fear. All dragons are considered extinct why is there a dragon here and now.
"Are you afraid child?" said the dragon looking at me with such a relaxed look. I couldn't even think let alone talk. The world was spinning around me. I tried to walk away but I couldn't, I was stuck to the ground. I started to fall. I was in the darkness again alone in this dark place, I'm scared.
"Don't be afraid child we'll be here for you" said the warm and kind voice again. The darkness started to fade away and light started to fill the dark place, such warm and bright light. That is all I could feel.
"It's time to wake up child" said the womanly voice. I opened my eyes to see the dragon carrying me on its back. For some odd reason I wasn't scared, I was calm as any one person could be.
"The others are waiting for us ok?" said the dragon continuing to walk farther into the cave.
"Where are we going?" I said still half asleep.
"Looks like you're already getting used to me being a dragon and all" she said happily. I just started to notice as well. I'm strangely content.
"To answer your question we're going to meet the others" she said in a serious voice.
"Other what dragons?" I said. Now that I think about it the voice said "we" in dark abyss.
"We'll just have to find out won't we" she said starting to quicken the pace.
