Omg our ship just became canon! im literally in my room dancing, singing that while putting away my clothes! ahh, im like so done right now. I'm on it count as a date if they didn't eat food? Also seeing the promo from next week get me thinking about why they split up as partners for 8 episodes and I think that promo answers how and why. but I'm too frickin happy right now to do anything other than reflect on the fact they legit just slept together. I'm over the proverbial moon. OMG, um so I think I might be done fan girling or now so you guy can read the chap :p as I wrote it listening to Christmas music. I'm already in the Christmas mood.

Chapter 27: Legit Reunion

"What's going on?" Kensi and her mom both asked in unison as monitors began to get unplugged and things moved around.

"You're being moved to another room."

"Why?"

"We don't know. Some higher ups told our boss to put you in the same room as another patient." The head nurse informed continuing on about his job.

Kensi's heart skipped a beat. Hetty was moving her to the same room Deeks was in. She didn't know such a thing was possible but she wouldn't put it past Hetty to terrorize someone to benefit her family. Her mom followed along side her bed as she was wheeled to the wing Deeks was in.

She grew restless as they got closer. She tried preparing herself for the sight her eyes would show her but her imagination paled in comparison to the actual damage inflicted upon his body unnecessarily.

"Deeks!" She cried in excitement upon first glimpse of his face. But then as her eyes drifted to his torso and chest her breathe was caught in her throat and tears threatened to fall. After years of claiming she had no weak spots, she'd finally found one. It was seeing Deeks in severe pain and injury.

"Hey Kensilina. Welcome to my new temporary apartment for the next week." He said with a smile. He noticed the look on her face and drew the blanket up to his neck. "Eyes up here Princess." He reprimanded with a snap of his fingers.

"I'm sorry. I wasn't prepared."

"No one can ever be." He replied soothingly. "Evening Mrs. Feldman."

He said politely offering out his hand to shake.

"That's quite alright dear. I don't want to risk hurting you. Kensi already can't stand to see you hurt. I wouldn't want to accidentally add to that."

"That's okay, I understand. I hate making her sad too." He replied.

"Still in the room." Kensi replied as monitors were plugged in and vitals taken.

Julia and Deeks chuckled. "So, I have to ask, what delicious dinner did we miss out on last night?" Deeks asked curiously now that he was restricted to liquids.

"I believe I made tacos, or something like that." Julia replied pondering.

"Oh god, that sounds perfect." Deeks moaned in pseudo agony. Kensi just rolled her eyes.

"Is he always such a drama queen?" Julia asked with a laugh.

"Always. I have to work with this." She said feigning complaint.

"Hey, I take offense to that." Deeks protested.

"To what? The truth?" Kensi quipped.

"The truth? Oh please. The truth is I'm the one who puts up with your drama queen antics." Deeks accused.

"Drama queen antics?" Kensi questioned.

"Yeah. Like, 'Oh, Marty, I'm soooo hungry I'm going to die. If only I had some form of junk food stashed somewhere to help.' " Deeks mocked in a high pitched voice as he tried to mimic Kensi.

"What? I do not sound like that first of all! And secondly, that's you who freaks out on me if you go without food for more than three hours." Kensi defended.

Their banter argument was interrupted by Julia's laughter. "You two are really something. Two minutes in the sane room together and you're already in an argument."

"Discussion." They both corrected in unison. They looked to the other and smirked.

"Besides, couples do that. And I love Kensi despite her drama queen meltdowns."

"Right, and I love Deeks despite his childish behavior when he gets hungry."

"Whoa whoa, childish? I hardly doubt that." Deeks defended. And just like that they started in again. Julia laughed and smiled. It was very obvious the two were in love and so she decided to watch and observe rather than interrupt. It was their own kind of love language that only they knew. And that's what made them perfect for each other in Julia's mindset.
