I know some people want a little tension between the two of them, but I just can't do it. If you guys watched the episode with him and Morgan, you'll remember that when Axl falls, he falls so hard it actually hurts to watch sometimes. I feel as though in his mind when he enters a relationship for him it means forever, he's one of those guys who are extremely sensitive but cover it up with that whole jock exterior.
So I decided to spice it up in other ways. Hope you enjoy, and sorry for the long wait. I know I'm a terrible updater. Also I'm sorry this is so short but I'm building it up to another chapter.
Chapter Eighteen
Of course we couldn't.
I thought we were over this but apparently not. I had noticed in the past couple of days that I had been followed by someone, someone I couldn't see and that made me so much more paranoid. I knew Axl believed me because he had become ten times more overprotective than he had been before.
"Who was that?" He asked, shrugging his shoulders in what he assumed was a casual manner. I rolled my eyes without looking at him.
"He's just a friend, don't worry. It's not him." Axl came closer, rubbing his thumbs over my shoulders and feeling how tense I was. He kissed the back of my neck and sighed.
"I'm sorry, you know it's this whole stalker thing that's got me snappy lately. I don't mean to." I knew he didn't but with his constant questioning it was almost as if he didn't trust me with anyone else. I didn't know if it was because he thought I would leave him or if he believed someone was going to take me away but I didn't like it. Not one bit.
"I know that. But you have to let loose a little. I'm not going to be snatched from you just like that." I turned in his arms and reached up to kiss him sweetly on the nose, causing him to smile. He grabbed my hand and we walked along the road, him pointing out cute things that I never noticed on my own. I heard the faint sound of something clicking behind me and went to turn around but Axl quickly grabbed my hand to stop me from walking.
Lucky he had as a car went zooming past with bubblewrap all over the windscreen. Wait was that?
"Sue!" Axl started running after the car, dragging me after him. "Oh my God Sue!" We ran and ran until we finally caught up with the car from where it had stopped.
"What on earth?" Sue was holding the wheel tightly in her hands. She was staring straight out of the window before turning to the shaking man in the passenger seat.
"Did I pass?" The man turned to her and shook his head before opening the door and vomiting violently on the ground.
I shook my head and smiled sympathetically. "I think that was a no." I helped Sue out of the car and left the poor man where he was.
Sue looked back nervously and I grabbed her hand to pull her back around. "Maybe you should try again next year." The sound of vomiting increased as the man clearly heard what I had said. I tried to speed her up.
I threw a basketball at Axl that was lying around on the ground which hit him in the back. I grimaced and was about to apologise when he turned around with a smirk and came running at me, he grabbed me and threw me over his shoulder before twirling me around so much that I couldn't stop laughing. When he put me back down I couldn't walk straight and stumbled into him.
He laughed at me and planted a kiss on my cheek before going over to pick up the basketball. I heard a car pull up behind me but didn't bother to see who it was assuming that it was one of the neighbours. I laughed as Axl landed one of his shots and celebrated wildly, turning to me with a massive grin on his face before that look turned to horror.
"Sam!" I raised an eyebrow in question before someone put a hand over my mouth, I inhaled some sort of gas and my eyes rolled to the back of head before I lost consciousness. "Sam!"
Axl watched in despair, running over to me but before he could grab a hold of me someone got to him as well. He was thrown into the van next to my prone body and to quiet down his yells someone hit him round the face with the butt of a gun, causing him to fall unconscious as well.
The van drove on, seemingly unperturbed at the fact that the occupants had just committed a crime, they had just kidnapped two teenagers who were completely innocent. But that van drove on.
Outside, Frankie and Mike had heard Axl's screams for help and had come running out, seeing their son and his girlfriend being thrown in a van and driven off. Frankie started freaking out and crying, whereas Mike was able to keep somewhat calm and hop into his car. Trying his best to follow the van but he was unable to follow after the first two corners, having lost sight of them in the traffic.
"Damn it!" He smacked the steering wheel and reluctantly turned away. As soon as he parked he ran inside the house to find that Frankie had managed to get the police round already.
"Did you find them?" She asked frantically, tears falling down her face. He shook his head disappointedly.
"I didn't. But I think I got the number plate."
