And it's back with even more luck references.
The lead up to this event that I found myself in would be another stroke of luck. Gamblers would go wild for who would be considered the lucky one here. Is it me for finally finding someone worthy to unleash the Tempered Dragon's wrath or is it the Queen of Ice who has finally found the one person who could hurt her beloved when she was there to protect him? To the outside world, our supernatural essence would merely look like a motif which complemented our fighting. I would be the boy with a fascination towards dragons, taking favourite of the famous Welsh Dragon while my opponent was a stern and cold person. She was blunt to the degree where seemingly neutral comments become hurtful just through her expression and tone which are completely missing. The Tempered Welsh Dragon versus the Devilish Queen of Ice.
Looking towards the fascination towards this fight and you'd mistake a lot of separate people for the gamblers although these people would most certainly have thoughts of gambling and wonder who would come out on top. Looking at it through perspective, the Dragon would come out on top as he has continued to get stronger since he wounded the Ice Queen's husband who is stronger than her but looking at it through facts would tell you that the Ice Queen would come out on top 100% of the time right here. His multiple advantages mean nothing against someone that resembles the thick, permeating ice itself.
The Ice Queen, Grayfia Lucifuge, is an anomaly which is always holding back regardless. It is not intentional but it is a part that was left behind and could never be returned, not to her at least. A traitor could never truly get what they lost back, especially when it is just simply replaced.
Just like the Ice Queen, the Tempered Welsh Dragon, Hyoudou Issei, is also an anomaly which is both predictable and unpredictable. He can be seen through easily because he is practically an open book but the way his life is makes all that pointless. When you consider luck into anything, it all changes. The thoughts of the impossible flood into your mind making you paranoid.
So all these points lead to the ultimate question of who would really win in an all-out battle between these two juggernauts? The Ice Queen who is unable to be deterred or the Dragon who runs on luck which by nature deters?
To get to this point at all though there has to be a lead up, and just like any other there is but it comes through a Stalker that's stalking his own stalker.
This one-of-a-kind battle came when the young dragon found himself walking around the Kuoh Academy grounds during the time that the two Devil heirs were in talks about something secret. It wasn't something anyone else could know but of course the fact that he had no idea this was going on meant a thing to the Ice Queen.
They just stared off at each other, not moving a muscle. The Queen stood emotionless while the Dragon held a lopsided grin.
…
[Yanno Aibou, I didn't think your luck was that strong. To think a fight like this could really arise when I simply go for a nap.]
Ddraig sounded like something incredible had just happened, he knows as well as I do that when I fully left to my own devices weird things will always happen. Even if he is awake, i'm more than likely to find something out of the ordinary to deal with anyway. We are both magnets. Me to the Strange and Ddraig to Women and Power.
'You do know that the only chance I have against her is Juggernaut Drive and even then we haven't perfected it so without Gabriel-nee or Michael-sama here I will die.'
[Of course I know that Aibou. You are a one of a kind guy, I'm kinda happy that I got you to possess me this time around.]
'Sound a bit more happier then when you say it.'
I then dropped my smile as I saw Grayfia start to let out some hostility towards me. It would seem that I dropped by at a terrible time. Perhaps her presence here is the reason why my beacons stopped. Oh well, no use burning myself out thinking about it.
Actually … what if she found out I came to talk to Rias Gremory alone and without notice? They would probably see that as suspicious.
[Aibou … You are being pretty suspicious right now anyway. She looks ready to attack us.]
'Ideas then, Ossan?'
[What about trying that Sub-species then? You aren't as powerful as you are with the Scale Mail but that's not what you need. You are here to look at the beacon, use the stealth and speed to do what you need then leave. I'm pretty sure the Ice Queen won't drop any power to kill us here.]
Unfortunately Ddraig was very correct with his statement as I could feel the raw intent to kill flowing out straight from Grayfia. It seems like the Sub-species will have to work then, hopefully the flip side is enough but that leads to a problem for me.
'Then unlock the second half of my Angel side. I can only get out of this with my life by activating it but in return, it'll signify the presence of the "Angel of Solitude".'
[That is true, she may be a Queen to the Lucifer but her strength alone makes her a King also in the Devil World. I see, let's prepare for the aftermath Aibou.]
'Just like that? Are you sure? Temperance is the complete opposite of a Dragon's nature.'
[It's fine kid. I'd rather this than the possibility of your other side leaking out, I don't know how i'd cope if you could actually be a 'Harem King'.]
'Then it's Angel/Dragon time.'
[Heavenly Dragon's Temperance!]
As I cooly stared down Grayfia, Ddraig's voice boomed out into the world for the first time today along with the unsealing of my angelic depth. While the unsealing wouldn't make me stronger at all, it would at least make me become more in sync with my blood.
A pillar of light exploded from my body shooting up straight into the sky with my 6 wings breaking out of my back and flapping lightly taking on a new slight gold glow as the feathers gained a gold trim while the rest of my plumage stayed it's original pristine white.
My casual exorcist clothes broke away as the light disappeared as quickly as it came showing me sporting the white and gold colours that are typical to all angels. I was now wearing my own custom version of the church's battle outfit which was white with gold trim to compliment me being the only exorcist who is an Angel. The only difference being I wasn't wearing the pants that came with it. I was now wearing a completely white, skin-tight unitard with short sleeves, golden pauldron and white, hip-high boots that were adorned with gold straps. A white waist cape fixed itself around my waist using a gold belt, inside the cape was my two exorcist pistols. As the cape fluttered millimetres above the ground a golden lizard tail grew out from the belt spanning nearly a metre.
Ddraig's familiar dragonic energy then surged throughout my body and then outwards as it combines with my angelic side but unlike my innate change to the standard balance breaker, this sub-species relies on my angel side much more than Ddraig. This is shown in full force as the red gauntlets form themselves around my arms but they don't stay red long as my angel side takes the helm colouring the whole of both gauntlets gold and force them both to slowly break away leaving only the claws around my fingers left from the gauntlet themselves.
I then summon to my right hand Excalibur Ruler as red and gold will-o-wisps start to fade into view around my body. While hot, the wisps did not set the grass beneath my alight despite the short distance between them.
'Didn't really expect that beacon at all. If Kokabiel is here then I may have just got us and the Ice Queen killed.'
[You say that like her death is a bad thing Aibou.]
'Don't get me wrong, killing her would be great for me and the church but i'm not gonna waste my life to have it happen.'
[Well, that's up to you Aibou. I can already sense the tainted ones approach and which the light show we accidentally created along with the foreboding presence of Temperance, i'm sure we might have some more devils to contend with as well.]
'Please don't make it sound like the next Great War will start soon.'
Quickly bringing myself back to reality, I sidestep an icicle which was quietly but not sneakily fired my way. Giving Grayfia a hurt look I saw her already racing towards me. With a quick shake of my tail, I shot off towards her and flapped my 6 wings to shoot up into the air and over the top of Grayfia as I continued further into the school grounds leaving her behind just so I can find my beacon.
[Aibou … I think you just severely pissed her off.]
'Don't worry about her Ossan, we got a job to do.'
A series of grunts from Ddraig came in response before he decided to not worry his large red self about and leisurely allowed himself to fall asleep. With him asleep, I gained a state of clarity that was probably my angel side taking front seat rather than any animosity towards Old Man Ddraig.
As I neared the beacon I was here for, I could feel the number of signatures nearing the school. Thankfully there was no human signatures nearby so my two girls would be perfectly fine dwelling in the apartment I have in town. Keeping my speed up while I took the scenic route towards my beacon I could only just single out Grayfia's presence that was inching closer towards me by the second. While still moving I summoned my katana and unsheathed it upon it's appearance and skewered the ground with it setting up the barrier that would only stop any magic from escaping the it.
I eventually stopped with the scenic route and came upon the beacon to find it royally screwed, with the time I had to fix it at least. With everything going on I was rather tempted to contemplate whether I should fix it or replace it with another one but in the end I chose to just stuff it because everything is converging on this area anyway. I stood still and waited for the approach of every supernatural presence in the area, while I did so I invoked my magic that I stealthily implanted I might add onto the two Excaliburs of my girls and the Excalibur that was staying behind at the church for safe keeping. While I might get some flack in the long run, it's not like I really care as I now have four shards and they have three.
When Grayfia arrived with the two heiresses and their peerages in tow, they didn't stop to oppose me at all. Maybe because I wasn't looking at them completely or because they knew there was a greater evil, not that I as an angel could be considered an evil at all. They actually surprised me a little and came over to stand by me, Grayfia levelled with me on my left side where Rias, Sona and their peerages stood behind us like I was their shield.
"Sekiryuutei, I will stand by you for this battle."
"Sounds good to me Grayfia-chan. Water under the bridge, I forgive you for attacking me."
"You wounded Lucifer-sama!"
She practically hissed at me causing the devils behind me to shrink back slightly, if it wasn't for my current carefree nature I probably would have done so as well.
"Then you both should have let me and my men retreat like we were doing so. You and your husband retaliated and underestimated me. I wounded your husband and only that to save my squads lives. I could have killed Lucifer but my blood be damned, that wasn't within balance."
"Is that so? You haven't lied yet so I will take your word for it … for now."
I could only shrug my shoulders in response, it was better than most would have got in response from her. I'm lucky she hasn't decided to just kill me outright yet.
I turned my head as I allowed Ruler to disappear back into my pocket dimension to look to Rias Gremory's Knight who was looked rather peeved at the current development. I don't think he wants to be working with me right now at all.
"Knight of Gremory, I know this isn't a very ideal situation i'm going to give you as I doubt you want anything from me but I will allow you what you want. As the traitors to Grigori approach, I will tell you what I will start off by doing. I will begin by taking two of the three Excaliburs that they have and then converge on Kokabiel. I will leave the final piece for you to break and fulfil your revenge if you so wish. Allowing a piece to break is no biggie, I'll have all the others after all. Is that fine by you?"
We stayed in silence after I finished speaking and the response I was given was a deep scowl accompanied with a reluctant nod. It was better than nothing at least.
"Then I will formally re-introduce myself to you devils as I've unsealed my true heritage. Upon my position as the Son of Solitude and Tears, I, Hyoudou Issei, the new Angel of Temperance and Archangel of Heaven ask for your assistance in retrieving the final Excalibur pieces."
[Oooh me too. I'm the Welsh Dragon and the True Heavenly Dragon. You can call me Ddraig.]
"Shut it Ossan, they already know you."
Putting the light chuckle from behind me to the side, I turned to Grayfia who closed her eyes before nodding lightly to me. Once she opened her eyes once again we both faced forwards as surprisingly very few enemies came into the space within my barrier. Two humans and about 9 Fallen Angels. My body shifted on instinct to the newly attained knowledge and I could feel the devils ready themselves as well as our enemies started to come into our line of vision.
"Ohoho, so we finally meet Son of Cassiel. Who would have thought you'd be working with the Strongest Queen. What would the lovely Gabriel think about this?"
Kokabiel's booming, joking voice permeated through the school grounds as an extra two dark presences started to make themselves known through deep growls and two towering infernos.
"Who knows Kokabiel? She'd probably be ok with it as long as I return untainted, she does seem to value my chastity after all."
I replied in an equally joking voice as Kokabiel and his squads' bodies came into full view along with the two house-sized Cerberus. My reply was met with a booming chuckle straight from Kokabiel's mouth. Taking in the beings that were with Kokabiel, I took note that the 8 fallen angels that were with Kokabiel all held 4 wings save for one female Fallen who held 6 wings much like myself but obviously without the grace that my white and gold ones held.
I dropped my body down further and pressed both hands against the ground as I tried to feel out their power. I came up with a quick guess so this how debacle could get started and finished before another Great War can be incited.
[Boost. Boost.]
[Transfer.]
As the two boosts leave my body and break up into equal parts to boost the devils, I pushed my weight into my arms lifting my legs just off the ground and flapped my wings furiously along with pressing off the ground with my arms to shoot out away from the devils leaving them bewildered at my lack of words. I surged straight towards the two humans there with my eyes firmly on the younger of the two due to him holding the three swords.
I approached him within a second before anyone else could effectively get off an attack. As I took a hold of the coat that the human was wearing, I felt slightly surprised as I saw him take hold onto one of the Excaliburs hidden within the coat. Continuing on with the momentum, the sword he quickly took a hold of ripped through the coat as I wretched it from his shoulders. Shifting my momentum, I planted my feet down into the ground and released the coat by taking a hold of the two swords and took in the signature and felt both Transparency and Nightmare leaving only Rapidly left. Coating them in my magic as I came to a stop they disappeared away into my dimension along with the other 4 leaving only one left for the Knight of Gremory to deal with.
Turning to the fight that was now getting into full gear I saw the Knights of both Gremory and Sitri surge towards the two humans. The older of the two was now accompanied by one of the 7 4-winged Fallen and they were both dealing with Sitri's knight as the younger one dealt with the Knight of Gremory. The two Cerberus were attacking the peerages leaving Grayfia alone to fight Kokabiel and the 7 remaining Fallen, this left me with only one actual option and that was to help Grayfia take on Kokabiel. While I knew the 7 Fallen wouldn't pose much of a problem for Grayfia, adding Kokabiel into the equation greatly changed that. She couldn't take them all on, luckily she wasn't taking any of them on just yet as they were all floating in the air with Grayfia glaring at the Fallen Angels.
I gave my wings a few flaps and took to the skies myself positioning myself just on Grayfia's left.
"You are the stronger of the two of us, who do you wanna take one? Kokabiel or the Bodyguards?"
"I will take Kokabiel, Hyoudou-san. I am yet to deal with him for the foul words he has uttered towards Lucifer-sama."
"Then as you please Grayfia, just don't kill him. He is needed for questioning."
The only answer I received was Grayfia flying off to fight Kokabiel 1-on-1 leaving me to deal with the riff raff and personally the choice I would have went with myself as I know I couldn't take on Kokabiel with this many people around.
I took a deep breath and allowed my piece of mind to change and shift into gear, upon doing so the wisps that floated around me expanded and the area started to feel their intense heat.
[Boost. Boost. Boost.]
[Explosion.]
With my body now bubbling with more power I engaged myself in combat with the Fallen Angels who all took to further up in the sky. I grabbed both pistols from within my waist cape and surged Ddraig's power into them as their chambers glowed emerald. Crossing my arms I fired off a shot from each pistol eliciting a strangely gargantuan bolt of emerald magic to shoot from both pistols and surge at two of the 7 Fallen instantly disintegrating one of them as the other was quick enough to dodge. Both bolts continued on and crashed against the barrier dissipating upon contact creating no recoil or reverberation to go through the grounds.
I couldn't help but feel slightly annoyed at the simple power difference between the number of wings. Three boosts from a 6 winged angel like myself could easily kill a 4-wing Fallen in one shot but against Kokabiel, it would probably burn his hand slightly at most and not even force him into using a magic barrier to stop the attack like he currently was doing in tandem with Grayfia's stream of icicles.
The jump in power from 2 to 4 wings would be consider as a simple double in power but the jumper in power from 4 to 6 would be considered as a quadruple in power. This all means to attain the next level you have to acquire the power that is your current number of wings to your current power. That though is the case for Fallen Angels and Fallen Angels only as they fell for their lust creating a different ranking system due to their ideals being different to the Angels. Our power level came from balance of everything, every fibre of our being had to increase but the power increase wasn't as steep to denote elevation in number of wings. Even simply acting as an Angel could constitute to getting closer to your next two wings.
This started to show in my battle with these Fallen Angels. I was completely owning the fight despite the number advantage they had on me along with one of them having 6-wings like me. That power meant nothing if it couldn't be used effectively and that it was not against an opponent like me who was currently able to move at speeds they'd find incredibly hard to follow with ease.
One. Two. They vanished from existence with ease as my gargantuan bolts of Dragonic magic tore through their bodies like it was air itself leaving nothing behind, not even a single black feather was left. I stopped with this approach when I came face to face with the single Fallen left, the 6-winged Fallen.
Her face contorted in anger at the ease of my assault against her squad. She shifted from the usual style of Light spears and formed two light swords in her hand creating two glows of a dark gold than resembled European swords. I decided to take up her unsaid request and locked my two pistols away within the inside on my cape. Throwing my clawed hands out to the side of my body, I surged both my Dragonic and Holy powers to create an Emerald katana in my left hand and a light gold katana in my right hand. Destruction in my left and consistency in my right.
Keeping the anger on her face she gestured for me to make the first move and that I did albeit surprising her and not doing what she expected. I allowed my wings to stop keeping me up in the sky and I dropped from the sky falling straight down to the ground in front of the two peerages that were still fighting the Cerberus, both sides of which were wounded but not out. The Fallen dropped down but stopped herself so she was floating in between the accumulative 6 canine heads.
"You think i'm that weak Angel?!"
The female Fallen seemed to misunderstand my reasoning for dropping down to the ground. I merely wanted to have a proper sword-fight, my intention was not what she thinks. I didn't drop down to stop her and the two Cerberus while saving the two peerages. That wasn't was I was thinking in the slightest, although I can't say it's not a bad idea to have.
Not bothering to really care about the opinion of the tainted, I just shrugged in response to her. Not something that went down well with her.
"Attack him you stupid mutts!"
The two Cerberus roared in annoyance from being commanded by someone who wasn't their master but they complied nevertheless, all 6 heads reared back before shooting a large volley of flames which came straight at me. I did what any sane man would do at the sight of blistering flames that headed his way and that was smirk. I lifted both of my arms into the air and let go of the swords causing them to levitate in the air, I quickly pushed my open palms into the both causing them to break apart into small shards that shot themselves towards the two Cerberus in front of me.
As the flames got closer, the wisps that floated around took to the stage and placed themselves haphazardly in front of me. Order was not something they needed as they sucked the oncoming flames right in making them expanding in size until the flames were all gone. The numerous number of wisps started to group together to make two large red and gold flames which rivalled the Cerberus in size before plummeting down towards the ground. The two flames then burst exploding, sending small wisps around like they were shrapnel effectively destroying the attack causing our small patch of the battlefield to grow silent until the Heiress to Sitri decided to questioned my Wisps' method of stopping the attack.
"Was that really needed Hyoudou-san?"
That was something I didn't really know actually. It worked so I never questioned it, i'm kinda getting the vibe that I should have. I mean, in the past it stunned an opponent enough for me to end them … well the few that thought fire would work against me.
"Please don't question the wisps, Sitri-chan."
I could feel a few balls of irritance and anger build up from behind me at the use of the friendly honorific. It would seem we aren't friends yet.
'Ddraig, are you able to link the other Excalibur pieces to my left eye?'
[Can and already done. It would seem that the original effect had dealt with the Excalibur presence itself. I guess this constitutes as another piece of your random luck.]
'That's good then. Can you assimilate them together at all?'
[Yes and no. It would take time to create another sub-species to work with combining the swords or even to just combine the swords, even then it wouldn't last long as neither of us have no idea what to do when it comes to creating weapons outside of stone spearheads.]
'Couldn't we just rely on my luck to somehow make it possible in a split second?'
[Aibou, I don't think luck works that way even despite your innate ability to be lucky in everything. Are you sure you wanna chance it in a position where you could die any minute? I mean, we are working with devils. Who is to say that they won't kill you after dealing with Kokabiel, that is if you win though. After killing you, that Gremory chick might make you her pawn. She'd have to ask Lucifer to borrow pawns but they could do it in theory.]
'Ossan … That was an unexpectedly smart thing for you to say. We should try to be on this level more often.'
"Hyoudou-san, can you please pay attention? Even if your 'Wisps' eat up that fire there is still physical attacks and that Fallen to deal with."
I was brought out of my reverie by an irritated sounding Sitri heiress, although I don't remember her not sounding irritated at all since I got here a few days ago.
"Just you wait Sitri-chan. I will deal with them soon, Old Man Ddraig is being smart and I want to enjoy it while it lasts."
[Fuck you too Aibou.]
"As much as it annoys you we both know it's very rare for us to have an intellectual conversation, even if this situation is dangerous I want to treasure it."
By this time we started to actually talk out loud as this skirmish carried on. The situation carried on like I was still talking to Ddraig internally, that fact didn't linger in my mind at all.
"Is the method to our madness done yet?"
[Of course it is. Coulda done it after the first collection if we boosted though.]
"I'm not sure i'm ok with you casually not mentioning it … I guess I can forgive you this once Ossan."
[Then let us create the Tempered Inferno.]
The wisps flew away from the front of us leaving us temporarily defenceless but as luck would have it, the two mutts and single Fallen were too fixated on what the wisps were doing as they leisurely flew around the air looking they had no idea what they were doing. When they finally got Ddraig's acts together they littered the ground creating a circle around the two Cerberus and ultimately the Fallen who was still flying up in the air. A soft click resounded as the wisps released their control on themselves allowing the ground to light up in a Red and Gold blaze. And then without warning, it intensified immensely shooting up into a towering pillar of fire.
"Are you satisfied now Sitri-chan?"
"No, not really."
"Tch … buzzkill."
'Though that did use up a hell of a lot of magic. Who cares, there should only be Kokabiel left. I'll allow Grayfia to deal with that as I pick up what remnants of Rapidly.'
I let out a soft shrug to no-one in particular and journeyed on to where the two Knights stood, standing wounded above three fallen bodies which actually consisted of one Fallen body. Rapidly was cut in half with small shards that had splintered off around it, as I bent down to pick it up I looked at the Knight of Gremory to see a slightly passive face. It was one which looked solemn rather than happiness from completing his revenge, I had no way to tell what had happened but I could see that it might have had something to do with his own sword and it was something i'd have to report afterwords as it was out of place. It wasn't possible but to the average supernatural being it shouldn't exist, it was a Holy-demonic sword and only possible because God and the Four Great Satans were killed.
Without a word the remains of Rapidly fused with my body and started it's own repair due to the influence of coming together with the other Excaliburs. Looking back up to the sky I could see Grayfia still going at it with Kokabiel, neither side backing down but Kokabiel looked to be having the other hand. When I looked at him I felt something ominous growing inside of me, it was dark and sinister but in no way evil or demonic. It also held hints of draconic energy … no wait, reptilian would be more appropriate with snake being an exact vibe I was getting. It was odd, it wasn't something I could deal with outside of Juggernaut Drive right now and my full control last 10-15 minutes at best. At least I have enough magical power to sustain it and not sacrifice my life force.
With each passing blow I could see Grayfia being pushed back, it wasn't massive but with the speed they were going it was definitely enough to make heads way. Looking at it I can't tell how the whole fight would go even if I was to intervene. In this instance I would fare greater being on the defensive but Grayfia would beat me in offence but with this strange boost I don't know whether it becomes naught.
[Aibou, how about using the Excalibur pieces' abilities to assist the Ice Queen?]
'I get what your going for but we aren't really a team, without a sufficient weapon I'd only be a hindrance.'
[Then what about that whole uniting thing with Xenovia?]
'...Oh, good memory Ossan. If I was to ever go berserk then she could summon Ascalon without my help and in turn I could summon Durandal. Sure is lucky that damned thing recognizes us, better yet i'm lucky I have you in general Ossan. You are the reason my life got flip-turned upside down.'
[Don't Fresh Prince it Aibou. What other plan is there really? Mass of destruction along with Rapidly.]
'I guess that there is no way around it. I'll have to summon the single secret that was kept, remind me to keep the fact it's Xenovia's away from them.'
Keeping my eye on the sky, I took a long and deep breath. I wasn't hurt at all but I was definitely starting to get tired, this was the first time activating this sub-species in a real fight along with the unsealing of my true angel side, not that it does much combat-wise.
"Saint Peter. Saint Basil the Great. Saint Denis. Holy-mother Mary. Please hear my voice."
I had never seen Xenovia summon the WMD but it was not what I expected. The space to my right side distorted as a two foot tall golden magic circle appeared with intricate swirls and shapes. Out from the centre of the circle came the hulk of a sword, a uniquely shaped broadsword with a blue blade and golden edge. It was being constricted by steel chains that reigned in it's destructive aura. I placed my right hand around the steel grip that was being defended by a semi-circular guard, once my grip became tight enough the blade felt happy the chains broke the sword free from the magic circle causing it to disappear.
"In the names of the saints whom reside within this blade, I will release thee. Durandal!"
Upon the call of it's name the chains still wrapped around the blade crumpled in on themselves as Durandal's presence exploded into existence sending a sharp gust of wind whipping throughout the school grounds.
Feeling the weight of it I felt a little annoyed that it felt so right to be there. I felt more at home holding Durandal than I did Ascalon. Shame I cant just simply exchange the swords with Xenovia as Ascalon isn't really her style by it being rather small in comparison to Durandal which only just trumped her own height.
[Shall we Aibou?]
'Let's go Ossan, invoke Rapidly.'
[Boost. Boost. Boost.]
Rapidly's interference came along with three boosts courtesy of Ddraig. Gotta love the no-time limit for boosts during this sub-species. Shame I only have a 5 back log on the original balance breaker.
"It's time to rejoin the party."
There is that chapter done and gone and remarkably easy to write without notes.
Depending on the interest for this chapter, which Issei stories tend to get, i might upload the next chapter of this for next week putting a one week pause before i go back to the schedule i've set up now for my uploads.
Luck and Temperance will have heavy involvement in words alone. Even if they don't sound right or make sense in a sentence, that's what i will be going for at times. Issei may not be 100% with his father but as a typical Tsundere he still has the attachment which will show through his use of the words Temperance and Solitude along with their variations of the tenses.
This armour i released this chapter is the one of two new armours Issei will have. The balance breaker will cater to his opponents, The Angel/Dragon form which appears here is against Devil opponents or the much darker beings because his Angel side is more responsive and allows him to keep up with the Knight/Queen speeds. The Dragon/Angel would be the standard Scale Mail and caters to his dragon side which will be when he fights strong opponents so he has the defence of the Armour.
The second new armour will be the Juggernaut Drive and the perfect fusion of his Angel and Dragon side, i think you can guess what the name for that will be or what it will involve at least. I do have a thought of when i will involve it, i'm thinking of doing it when Issei does for the first time in Canon but like i have with this arc and the rest of it so far, change it up again but how i am unsure as of yet.
Anyway guys, i'll let you go now. Ciao.
