Hey all, happy Friday! Bet you're as ready for the weekend as I am. Have you all heard I'm hosting a contest called "The Seven Deadly Sins Twific Contest"? I know, odd coming for a Fluff master like myself, but I can't wait to read the entries. The links to the contest are all over Facebook and you can find us on twitter too: 7SinsContest; just don't forget the at symbol that FFn will not allow.

As always, a huge thank you to Brie, kitchmill, Jen, Kelly, and Kim for their continued support and help. Also a huge thank you to Evelyne for her French help!

Today's celeb encounter is brought to you by madlisa. Here's her story:

"When I was in high school, I used to have the same circle of friends as this actor dude. My friends were known for weekend parties where alcohol was involved, and I'd get into friendly conversations with this guy.

The actor? Heath Ledger."

Pretty cool! Thanks for sharing Lisa. Now on with the Paris experience we go!

Chapter Twenty-Four

The next couple of days passed in much of the same way. I spent my days touring the city and my nights in Edward's arms. We made love each night. He cherished me and made me feel so special. This entire trip was a dream come true.

I saw Notre Dame and the Panthéon. Versailles was incredible and more magnificent than I could have predicted. I even toured the catacombs. After our busy days, I told Edward about my adventures at each place and showed him all the corresponding pictures I had taken. I wanted him to feel like he had been able to see the same things I had so that he could share the memories with me.

I think my desire to give him these things made him fall a little more in love with me, and I sure as hell wasn't complaining about Edward loving me. He made it seem so effortless, and that was most likely why I was able to trust him and give myself over to him so easily. He made me impossible for me not to fall a lot more in love with him.

Tonight Edward was planning a special evening for the two of us. I didn't know exactly what he had planned, but he told me to dress up. I donned the dress he'd gotten me for New Year's Eve and paired it with my heels from the Globes. Sure, he'd seen me in it a lot, but Eddie's eyes never failed to light up each time he saw it. I let my natural curls hang down my back and kept my makeup light. I was excited to see what he had in store for me since I had enjoyed every one of his surprise outings before.

When I walked out to the living room, I was greeted by Edward in a navy blue suit with a lighter blue shirt underneath, I swooned. He looked fabulous in anything he wore—from the wrinkled and holey jeans to the tux he had on for the Golden Globes. The man wore his clothes well.

"You look beautiful, coffee girl."

I smirked at him. "This old thing?" I spun around and shook my butt, attempting to be cute and flirty, but being as I was a clutz disguised as a lady, my heel got caught in the carpet and I began to fall.

"You're a danger magnet," Edward informed me after he had safely caught and righted me into a standing position.

"It's the shoes." We both looked down at my feet, but Edward guffawed at my reply.

"We both know that's not true. I do believe you were wearing Chucks the first time you fell in my presence."

I couldn't believe he remembered that, and I groaned as I realized he was right. "Then it must be you…I never have this many issues with remaining upright when you're not around."

He smirked. "I find that hard to believe, but for both of our sakes I'm going to keep at least one hand on you for the rest of the night."

I shook my head at his attempt to tease me, but quickly realized I could return the taunting just as well. "Only one hand?"

I watched his eyes grow dark from under my lashes. I was blatantly flirting when it wasn't needed, but sometimes Edward was too easy to rile up. When he growled, I knew I may have pushed him a little too far.

He took one hand and allowed his fingers to glide up my bare arm before moving to my shoulder. My eyes closed on their own accord when his fingers made contact with my throat as I automatically tilted my head back. Everywhere his fingers touched was on fire, my blood bubbling just below the surface of my skin. I hadn't realized I was panting or that he had closed the distance between us before I felt his warm breath against my ear.

"With you, that's all it takes." He was gone the second the last syllable left his lips. My eyes snapped open and I was left wondering what the fuck while he smirked once more with my jacket in his hands.

I walked toward him with a different fire burning inside and snatched my jacket from him and put it on. "You mean 'took,' because that's all you're going to get from me tonight."

I didn't give him a chance to respond before I grabbed my clutch and stomped out the door. Whether he was behind me or not, I was pissed—well, not pissed per se, more like horny beyond belief. I needed the chilly Paris spring night to cool me down.

He met me at the elevator and we walked in when the doors opened. "I'm sorry. You started it by looking utterly ravishing tonight, then teasing me when you already had me hard as a rock." He grabbed my hand and subtly grazed his hardness. "You don't even have to touch me and I'm aching with need for you. It's you. Your look, your smell…it calls to me. I need and want you every moment of every hour or every day. Forever. And even then that won't be long enough."

Edward had a way of making me forget everything, even when I was supposed to be pretending to be mad. "Do you honestly think it's any different for me?"

He shook his head. "No, and I'm glad it's not. The need to touch you, feel your skin under my fingers, is a feeling I plan to cherish always. I didn't think it was possible to feel like…ever."

"Me either, but then again, I never even tried before you."

"And that makes me a very happy man." I smacked his arm at his possessiveness.

"Okay, Mr. Caveman," I replied with a roll of my eyes.

The doors opened and we made our way out of the hotel and to the car where Henri was waiting. I was actually beginning to wonder if the man ever had time off.

The sun had begun to set, leaving the sky a rainbow of colors. Henri zipped through traffic and we soon arrived at our destination…a boat.

I stared in awe at the glass covered boat as Edward spoke to Henri, and then he led me down the dock and onto the boat.

"Bonsoir et bienvenue à bord, madame et monsieur. Puis-je prendre votre manteau, s'il vous plaît?" I must have looked like a deer in headlights because he repeated himself in English. "Good evening and welcome aboard, madame and sir. May I please take your coats?"

I nodded and Edward helped with my coat before he took off his own and handed them to the host. "Feel free to move about the boat. We'll begin our cruise in just a few moments."

Edward led me to the bow of the boat and stood behind me as we watched the other boats glide along the Seine. Jazz music was flowing overhead as we rocked with the gentle sway of the boat.

A throat cleared behind us. "May I offer you a glass of champagne?"

Edward and I both nodded. A couple of minutes later we were handed our glasses. I said thank you in French; there were a few things I remembered and was happy to use it when I could, even if my accent could use some work.

We moved slowly down the Seine and I continued to watch the other boats as they passed by at a slightly faster speed. Edward continued to sway me in his arms to the beat of the jazz music. I could spend the rest of my life in his arms and never tire of how safe and happy I felt in them.

When I thought of where I imagined my life heading as I began this final year of college, I never would have expected I would be in love or spending spring break in Paris. Edward had changed so many things for the better, and I was so grateful. He was one in a billion.

"Oh my gosh." I was stunned by the beauty of the Eiffel Tower lighting up in front of us as the sun finally disappeared beyond the horizon. "It's beautiful."

"Not nearly as spectacular as you." I rolled my eyes.

"You know I'm a sure thing for you." Our playful banter sometimes got out of control, but it was something I was never going to allow to change.

The boat docked, and the waiter who had helped us took our glasses and handed us back our coats. We carefully walked back up the plank and onto the street. Edward held on tightly to my hand as we made our way over to the tower. I was thankful he didn't rush me in my heels.

After checking in, we took the elevator up to 58 Tour Eiffel, the restaurant that was located in the tower. Although I was petrified of heights, looking out across the Parisian night sky was amazing. The fading blue sky was surrounded by a pale orange halo of lights as night set in the city. It was quite obvious why it was called the city of lights now.

We were seated almost as soon as we exited the elevator. The view was even more indescribable the higher up you went. When Edward informed me we could go up the rest of the way after we ate, I was as giddy as a schoolgirl. Nothing could have topped that moment, not even my fear.

Edward ordered for me and I was fine with that. I didn't want to know how much everything was because I was sure it was more than I made in a week at the coffeehouse.

They started us off with a deliciously poached lobster with spring vegetables. It was very light and refreshing, with only the butter for a bit of richness. The wine continued to flow freely as the courses continued to arrive.

The main course was a crispy leg of duck with an apple and turnip chutney. It was cooked to perfection and very filling. We didn't talk much since the tables were so close together, in fear that someone might recognize him and share our conversation with the public.

Dessert was as decadent as anything you could ever imagine. It was a chocolate 'bolt' praline with hazelnut ice cream all covered in a hard chocolate shell. Accompanied with a truly French café au lait, it was pure heaven on a plate. I could never have more than one, though.

I was completely stuffed when everything was said and done. I sighed and sat back in my chair, content to soak up the sound of clinking glasses and silverware scraping plates while people conversed around us. It had been a wonderful night so far.

"You ready to head up?" Edward asked, and my eyes opened and met his. His stare always seemed to ignite a fire deep within my belly.

I nodded. "Sure. Just promise me you won't let go of me. I'm scared of heights."

"I promise." And I believed him like I always did.

As soon as our meal was paid for, Edward took my hand and we headed up in the elevator. There weren't as many people milling about now that the sun was gone. After changing elevators once more, we arrived at the top of the Eiffel Tower. The city was completely shrouded in light without the hindrance of the sun, and the air was near freezing. I wasn't able to stay outside for long, but I had been able to appreciate the view for all it was worth. It truly was a once in a lifetime experience.

"I don't think I've thanked you for giving me such an amazing gift." I shook my head; I was on the verge of crying but I didn't want him to get the wrong idea. "This has been the most incredible thing anyone has ever done for me, and I will never ever be able to thank you enough."

"Seeing the look of joy on your face is reward enough. Everything you've done to try and share the city with me...it's priceless. No one has ever attempted to give me that." He kissed me sweetly, almost as if he was afraid I would disappear if the kiss was any heavier than a gentle brush of his lips.

I loved those lips; hell, I loved everything about this man. He was worth more than all the money in his bank account, worth more than all the coffee beans in the world. His love was priceless, and even though I sounded like a MasterCard commercial, it was true.

We made our way back down and found one of the taxis waiting for people who were leaving the restaurant. We headed back to the hotel where Edward worshiped me once more. I didn't think life could get better than that, but I was wrong. Each day with Edward was better than the day before.

Thank you for reading. Sorry there hasn't "visually" been another lemon, but I never wanted this story to be all about sex. There will be a few more lemons, but this one was all about the romance. Hope you'll all forgive me for that.

Also, I just sent the last four parts of this tail off to be beta'd. When I get them back, I will increase the posting schedule again so you're all not stuck waiting when they're all pretty and ready to go.

Have a great weekend everybody! xx Dee
