TGIF Coffee Girl addicts! This is the longest chapter ever. I added close to 600 unbeta'd words today, and so I hope any unanswered questions have been put to bed by the end of this.
Still, please show some love for Team CG: Brie, kitchmill, Jenn, Kelly, and Kim. They make miracles happen and then I fuck it up. lol
Today's encounter is kind of long, but so worth the laugh involved. I enjoyed msa121371's encounter with Dr; Carlisle Cullen himself!
"I work for a merchandising company and had to work at our local Target the morning of New Year's Eve. I usually go in to the stores around eight so there are fewer people there and it actually paid off that day. I had finished at about ten that morning and picked up a few things I needed for the house. They only had one checkout line open since there were only a handful of people in the store. I proceeded to the open line, standing behind theses two ladies who were chatting it up.
I happen to notice the guy in line buying an MP3 player, but what stuck out was how hot he was and his clothes because no man in Wichita Falls dresses like that, and so I continue to stare. When he turned and I could see his profile, I literally swallowed my tongue. At this time one of the ladies told him that he would really enjoy his purchase; that she had just given her husband one for Christmas.
I saddled up next to her and whisper, "Do me a favor and ask that guy if you know him from somewhere, PLEASE."
She does and his response was, "No, I don't think so." She then pushed a little more, all the while he's smirking because I am practically vibrating—doing the pee pee dance—behind her.
She asked him his name and he said Peter which led to me belting out a "Yes!" with my fist in the air.
They all thought I was pretty comical. He told the older women that they might know him from a little movie called Twilight or a show called Nurse Jackie.
When it was my turn to checkout and I ask the girl, "Don't you know who that is behind you?"
She said, "No."
I then told her, "It's Peter Facinelli. You know, Carlisle from Twilight."
She about passed out. Luckily I didn't cause too much of a commotion with only about six people at the front of the store. Needless to say he was really nice and I asked him what on God's green earth he was doing in the fire pits of hell called Wichita Falls and he said he was on a road trip. He let me take a picture with him and then he was on his way. It so made my New Years Eve!"
Nice to know Dr. Cullen shops where we do! Thanks for sharing and enjoy this chapter!
Chapter Thirty-Three
Our plane touched down just after one o'clock in the afternoon Hawaiian time. I could feel the humidity the moment the door to the cabin was opened. It was thick and almost unbearable, even in October. The blue sky was covered in scattered gray clouds, and it appeared like it could rain at any second. I began to worry since we'd planned to hold the ceremony outside on their private stretch of beach.
"Don't worry," whispered Edward. "It can rain one minute and be sunny the next. It's always changing. Besides, the Hawaiian Gods wouldn't let in pour before we said our 'I dos.'"
I shook my head at his optimism. "So trusting in the unknown."
There was no skepticism on his face or in his voice when he spoke again. "How could I doubt the work of the fates and God when they led me to you?"
"I already said yes. No need to continue wooing me with your cheese," I teased, but the smile on my face stretched wide as I fell even more in love with the man standing next to me.
"Woo?" He tested the word out, obviously seeing if it fit his thoughts. "I like it. I plan on wooing you into bed later. Then I plan on wooing you to have my babies, too. I plan on wooing you every single time I do something to piss you off, because let's face it, I'm good at that." He grinned, proud of something he'd thought of. "I'm going to woo you every day of forever. That's a great line for our vows."
He pulled out his phone and typed down what he'd just said.
"Are your vows not done?" I started to worry since mine had been written weeks ago.
He looked up from his phone. "They've been written since we decided to write our own, but a little fine tuning can be done up until we say them out loud to each other."
I nodded in understanding. I'd tweaked mine a few times too, wanting them to be perfect when I said them aloud to Eddie. "Just checking. Gotta make sure those feet are still toasty warm."
He wrapped me up in his arms, resting his forehead against my own. His green eyes were brighter than ever before. "My feet have been on fire since the moment you handed me that first cup of coffee. I don't think they'll ever cool off."
I sighed, I mean, was there anything else I could have done? And then I remembered that there was something I could say. "I love you, Eddie. Sorry it took me so long to catch up to where you were."
"Beautiful coffee girl, I would have waited forever."
His lips descended on mine in a sweet but meaningful kiss. It seared my soul like all the others, and I quickly lost myself. I opened for him and our tongues began dancing. Arms tightened around each other before hands invaded hair.
Everything disappeared until several throats cleared.
"Geesh, I'd tell you to get a room, but then I'm afraid you'd miss your own wedding!"
My cheeks took on their usual shade of pink and I buried my smile in Edward's shirt. I wouldn't miss our wedding for anything.
Another voice chimed in, one I'd only heard on the phone before. "Aloha, and welcome to Kauai."
I turned and smiled. "Makie, right?"
She nodded and spoke with a Hawaiian accent. "That's right. I brought a traditional welcome for you all."
She approached me first and slid the time-honored purple orchid lei over my head. After I thanked her, she then continued on with everyone else. It was a nice surprise.
"Not even in Hawaii for five minutes and I've already been lei'd!" Emmett's joke was met with a loud smack up upside his head from Rose.
"Pig," huffed Rose before she walked away.
I decided Emmett left himself open for a bit of teasing so I latched on to the moment he gave me. "Five minutes is all it takes you, huh? Poor Rose."
While Emmett pouted, everyone else laughed at his expense. "I'll get you back, Bella. Just you wait."
I rolled my eyes at him as Makie joined up with me again and began to fill me in on some little wedding details before she said she would follow us back to the house. She wanted to double check that all the final arrangements we agreed on were still correct.
Once we all had our luggage and my dress was back safely in my arms, we all climbed into the rental cars that had been arranged for us. The drive from the airport to the houses took about an hour. The rain had started fifteen minutes after we began our drive but had subsided shortly before we arrived.
"Wow. You weren't kidding when you said the rain comes and goes." I was amazed to see the clouds parting and the bright blue of the sky again.
"Not at all. It's pretty neat. Sometimes you can even be walking along when the rain starts and you can feel it, but it dries almost immediately after it hits your skin and clothes because of the humidity." He kept his eyes on the road as he talked and I just rotated between watching the scenery and him.
We turned down a long driveway, continued past a tennis court and then past a gorgeous two story, red tin roofed house.
"That's my parent's house. Ours is just up the drive a bit." I nodded at his words.
Though I knew the houses had been built almost twenty years ago, they were completely different styles. We pulled up to a white stucco, single story home that looked like it had been constructed in the seventies instead of the nineties. It had an art deco vibe going on.
When he parked he began to tell me about both homes. "Each house has four bedrooms and baths. Mom and Dad's has two half baths as well and we have one. We're closer to the beach than they are, but we keep a couple golf carts here for going between the properties since each house sits on over an acre of its own land."
"Wow." It was all I could think.
"We haven't done any major renovations since we don't get to spend as much time here as we'd like. It also felt like it would be a waste." I just nodded. "Each house also has its own outdoor hot tub, and we also have one in our room."
Edward wiggled his eyebrows and I just shook my head.
"Come on. We'll do a full tour after you hang up your dress."
Edward grabbed two of our suitcases and led the way to the bedroom. The walls were a crisp white, and the hand carved wooden bed sat at an angle that allowed you to look out onto a private patio. I was in awe of the room.
Edward turned on the light in the walk-in closet and took the dress from my arms and hung it on one of the empty racks.
"No peeking."
"I wouldn't dream of it. I can't wait to see you in it though, because when I do I know it will be just moments until you are officially Mrs. Cullen." He swept me into his arms and kissed me.
I honestly believed I would never tire of his sweet kisses, nor his passion filled ones either. They were promises of more, forever, and most of all, love.
My hands tugged at his hair. I needed more—wanted more. Edward bent his legs and I knew exactly what he wanted when his hands lifted me up by my ass cheeks. I wrapped my legs tightly around his waist and then he began walking us over to the bed.
I was lost in him. Eddie was always able to make me forget everything the moment our lips made contact with each other. He untangled our kiss and moved down the column of my throat. I tossed my head back, giving him more room so his lips could devour all of my bare skin.
I hissed and arched my back when he bit down where my neck met my collarbone.
"More," I begged.
He began to rock his body against mine, tingles of pleasure pulsed straight to my core. I ached in the best way. I would never get enough of him.
"Come on horny little love birds! Makie is waiting up at Mom and Dad's!" Emmett's booming voice shouted.
It was like pouring cold water all over us. We groaned simultaneously at the ill-timed interruption that I'm sure Emmett volunteered for.
"Come on, Eddie. Let's go get everything finalized so we can be husband and wife in two days' time." I forced him to roll off of me.
I couldn't help the giggle that erupted from my lips as he adjusted himself. Edward opened one eye, an evil look taking over his face. "It's not nice to laugh at my pain."
"Oh, sweetie. I promise to make it all better once we get back here tonight."
Both of his eyes popped back open and he sat up like a spring. "Promise?"
I nodded. "Of course. We have a lot of time to make up for. You were gone for so long."
His megawatt smile sent a rush of wetness straight to my already damp panties. "What are we waiting for? Let's go!"
He jumped off the bed and dragged me through the house, the tour forgotten as he grabbed a set of keys off the hook by the door and dragged me out to the golf cart.
Rose and Emmett laughed as we rushed by. I rolled my eyes at them. Edward's elation was infectious, and I couldn't help but smile like Eddie was. It was an exciting time for us. Happily ever after was just around the corner.
"Come on, slow pokes, or I'm gonna make you walk all the way back to over to the other house!" Edward shouted.
Emmett and Rose jogged down to us, complaining about how they had already been waiting and how it wasn't nice to make a pregnant woman run.
Edward pretty much ignored them and told them to hold on before he drove the golf cart as fast as it would go up to Esme and Carlisle's home.
After a bit of teasing from our parents, we sat down with Makie. She gave us the rundown on what to expect tomorrow with the rehearsal and how things would go on Friday. We hadn't left any room in the schedule for recovering from jet lag because of Edward's work commitments, so immediately after she finished the ladies and I piled into one of the SUVs with Esme behind the wheel. She knew where everything was, and so we were off to do a trial run with the hair and makeup people who would come to the house on Friday morning pre-wedding beautification. Before she drove off, she handed Carlisle a list.
Our men were given strict instructions from Esme as to the groceries they needed pick up while we were gone. I wanted to laugh when I saw the list because not only had she organized it into groups, she included pictures so they would know they were getting the right things.
It was both ingenious and sad at the same time. Especially when she told them if they were still confused, they could ask someone who worked there. Edward promised they would get everything handled, and I knew we could trust him because he wasn't about to have anything go wrong for us leading up to or on our special day.
The thing that sucked the most was how much time we were already being forced to spend apart. That was my first thought as we drove off. I'd just gotten him back, but the thing that kept me going had been the knowledge that soon we would be alone. I wasn't give much time to dwell on that fact of our separation before Rose began the first round of questioning.
"So, since I haven't seen your dress and I don't believe Angela has either—" she paused and looked at Ang for confirmation, who shook her head in the negative "—why don't you tell us about it."
I took a moment to remember what it looked like when I tried it on for the final time.
"It's pretty simple. Has a classic old Hollywood feel to it. The train is very short because I didn't want to be dragging the dress through the sand."
"Come now, Bella. It's not that bland," Renee disagreed with my description. "The dress plunges in the front and hugs her hips and ass beautifully before flaring out just a bit. It's got a two inch beaded band under her breasts that also covers the one inch straps before wrapping down the edge of the completely open back. It's made out of this ultra soft jersey material and looks amazing on her. Edward is not going to want to waste any time striping it off of her after the festivities, I'm sure."
"I agree. My son is not going to know what hit him when he sees her in it," Esme added.
"So the reception won't last long," Rose mused. "As another Cullen-to-be, how's the sex?"
"Rose!"
"What? I've had pretend sex with him. And even while acting he seems like he would be a very attentive lover."
I groaned and tossed my head back against the seat. My mom was quick to add her own two cents. "I know. I've tried to get the deets from her to no avail. It's such a shame how she's kept the details to herself."
My eyes shot open at her choice of words. "Deets, Mother? What are you, thirteen?"
"See, she deflects. It's so not going to work this time. Share."
With a huff, I shared the only thing I ever would. "Edward is everything one would hope for when they give themselves to the one they love. He's perfect, and that's all you're going to get."
"See." Renee huffed.
Esme glanced at me through the rearview mirror. "I'm glad he treats you well. It's all a mother could hope for. Now, have you decided on a hair style?"
I silently thanked her for the subject change and explained the up-do I had in mind.

The rest of the afternoon and evening flew by in food, laughter, and a beautiful sunset. We were finally alone, but thoughts of his sister crept in once again. I wondered how he was doing without her there, so I asked.
"It sucks, but as much as I wish she was here, as the sister I grew up with, I don't trust who she is now. Hollywood has changed her, and not for the better. This is going to be one of the happiest moments in my life and I can't honestly say I whether I want her here or that I even miss her." He paused and his poignant revelation was enough to make me realize he still wasn't over the hurt she caused, but that he was decided in the choice he'd made to remove her from his life. "I don't think I will be close to her ever again. All the rehab and therapy in the world cannot right the wrongs she's done to me."
When we climbed into bed shortly after our talk, a somber weight settled down on us. It wasn't how I imagined the eve of our rehearsal to end, but I felt better knowing where his mind was when it came to Alice. I wasn't going to let anything ruin this magical moment for us.
"I love you more than all the coffee in the world, Eddie. I'm so sorry that you've had to go through this, but I want to you to know that I will stand by you always. Your happiness is my happiness."
His warm breath combed through my hair as a contented sigh left his body. "I love you, coffee girl. And come Friday, I'll be the happiest man I've ever been since you said yes. Nothing and nobody can change that…ever."
Sadly, I neglected my promise to Edward from earlier in the day as heaviness of our talk and jet lag set in, but I would make up for it in the morning.
I really, really hope that all the Alice info I added, unbeta'd I might add, eases any worry and of you have. She will not be ruining Coffee Girl and Eddie's day because she has no idea it's even happening. Bella doesn't know where she is because she just doesn't care. She's not going to allow Malice to hurt Eddie ever again.
So, thank you for reading, reviewing, and being the most awesome people on the planet! xx Dee
