AN: Sorry of the delay everyone. I had a smidge of writer's block. I think I have worked through it and hopefully it will stay away for a while. I forgot how hard it is to try and write two stories at once. Happy Memorial Day and weekend to all of my American readers. I hope you have fun and safe celebrations. Anyway I hope you like the chapter. I will warn you there are lots drama lamas running rampant in the chapter. There are also some time jumps so be ready for that. Let me know what you think.

Chapter 33 Mistakes and Memories

Eric's Point of View

Another week has gone by without her here. I want to rip something apart. I don't understand what I am feeling. I should not feel this way. I am a fucking vampire, we do not let our emotions rule us. I spent my nights doing what I know how to do. I was sitting on this fucking throne, entertaining the masses of vermin that walk through the door. Pam banished me to my office after I flung a patron across the room. It is not my fault he tried to touch me. Now I am sitting in my office trying to deal with some paper work.

Pam has been trying to find a replacement for Ginger. The girl's brain can't take anymore glamoring. She has outlived her purpose. We have had three interviews tonight all of whom have been nasty, useless, breathers. There is a knock on the office door. I sigh unnecessarily.

"Enter."

"Eric this is Bridgette. She is hoping to be our new go to girl." Pam smiles at the little brunette. In the past I would have probably fucked her. She is pretty and her smell is not offensive. The problem is I don't know that her being attractive is enough.

"It's nice to meet you Mr. Northman. I heard a lot about you." Bridgette giggles smiling at me.

"What you have heard is irrelevant? Can you take orders and server our customers?" I ask looking at her with no emotion.

The smile slips from her face. "Yes sir I can. I worked for my daddy's restaurant in Baton Rouge since I was fourteen." This is somehow supposed to impress me? So daddy gave her a job to keep her out of trouble.

"You will have a trial period. If you do anything wrong you are out. Is this understood?"

"Yes sir."

"Pam get her changed into the appropriate attire and working." I motion for them to leave. Pam escorts her out and returns soon after.

"What the fuck was that Eric?"

"Nothing, I needed to know if she could do her job."

"Well you didn't have to be rude. I know you are missing Sookie but that does not mean you have to take it out one the rest of the world."

"YOU KNOW NOTHING OF HOW IT FEELS. I am lost. I feel like a part of me has been ripped from my chest. I am craving the touch of someone I can't remember." I vent at her.

"You just need a good feed and fuck, to get your mind off of all of this."

"What I need is for you to get out of my office. NOW!" I below. Sookie needs to be home soon I am going crazy not understanding what I think and feel. I throw my desk at the wall trying to release some of my stress. Maybe Pam is right maybe I do need to fuck this out of my system. I trudge out into the club, find the first mildly attractive fangbanger and take her back to my office. "On your knees." I order. She does what I tell her with an excited yelp. I release myself from my pants. "Suck." She complies. I can't help but think this will come back to bite me in the ass but at the moment I don't care.

Pam's Point of View

He is right I don't understand this. I don't know why he is stuck on a breather that may never come back. I acknowledge that I consider Sookie my friend but I will not sit around pining after her. I bottle up the feeling and move on. I will welcome her home if she returns but I am not going to hold my breath. I can't help but smirk when I see Eric drag one of the vermin back to his office. At least he can take some advice. I turn to look back out over the club when I see Freyda sweep in with her little were bitch. She has a lot of nerve coming in here after what she did to my maker. I zip over to her before she can get too far into the club.

"Freyda what do you want?"

"I came to talk to Eric. I am just sure that his mind will have changed." She smirks at this. I want nothing more than to wipe it of her face.

"It probably has but not in regarded to you."

"We will see. Is he in his office?"

"He is indisposed at the moment and I know he won't want to be disturbed for the likes of you. You can just turn around on you knock off Louboutins and leave. Eric has no need for you. He has never wanted you and he will never want you."

"I will have you know these shoes were designed specifically for me by Christian himself. Get out of my way." She moves to push past me. Thalia and Clancy are right behind me.

"The Sheriff is not taking meeting at this time. Leave."

"When I am your queen I will have each of you shown what it means to disrespect your betters." I could not help the laugh that bubbled up. Thalia's arm whips past me. She has the witch bitch by her throat, crushing her voice box.

"You may hold the sway in Oklahoma but that is all. Leave before I decide I want to be Queen of the wind swept hell hole you call home." This is the most I have heard from Thalia in years.

"A threat against a royal is punishable by the true death."

"Yes and tampering in kingdoms outside your own is too." I had not noticed King Davis before he spoke. This just keeps getting better.

Godric's Point of View

It has been exhausting dealing with Eric's emotions. I have not felt this drained since I changed him. I decided that tonight I would spend some time in Sookie's house. Eric has not been here since he woke with no memory. I feel that it is up to me to finish it. With that in mind I have contacted one of the witches I know to come and ward the house and land. Octavia will be here this week to start. She said she wanted to do it while the house was still under construction. She thinks if she can work her magic into the building supplies themselves it will strengthen the house. She told me she can make the wards so strong that even if the house is physically destroyed there will be a barrier around the foundations that prevents those that wish to do harm out. She is also planning to make it so that no one can pop into the house except Sookie and Hunter.

The work was well underway on the house it's self. The kitchen is almost finished. Only the paint and appliances are left to be chosen. While I think Sookie will not like that all of this was done without her, I can still appreciate the work that has been done.

The room that was once her grandmother's has changed greatly. They have taken all of the furniture out and are in the process of refinishing the floors. I hover in the doorway. I feel pulled to this room and I don't know why.

"You are drawn here because I needed to speak with you." An older woman appears in the corner. She is translucent and glowing. From the pictures around the house I know who she is.

"Hello Adele. What did you need to talk to me about?" I smile at her.

"My you are the perceptive one. I need to talk to you about Sookie. She is not safe. The longer she stays in the Fae realm the more she will forget about you, your child and everything she holds dear. It has already started. You have just over a month's time on Earth before she knows nothing of her home. You may have more time with Hunter because of his age but I do not know for certain. " She warns.

"What can I do? How can I get them home? It is not like I can just walk through the portal and get her." I want to laugh at the absurdity.

"Actually you can but only if you are willing to make a sacrifice."

"What do you mean?"

"How much are you willing to give up, to get them back?"

"Everything." I answer honestly.

"Good because you will." The colors in the room started to swirl and then everything went black.

Hunter's Point of View

Mama Sookie has been studying with Mr. Claude real hard. She can do all sorts of things. So can I. Mr. Claude has been teach us to use our magic. I can get as mad or sad as I want and nothing moves unless I want it to. Mama Sookie can make the weather change. I like that cause now if I want to play in the snow we can do that any time of the year. Mr. Claude says Mama Sookie is almost ready to go home, but I don't think she wants to go. She gets a funny look on her face when I ask when we can see Mr. Godric again. It's like she don't know who I am talking about.

I learned how to talk to my kitty friend. His name is Bob. He is not really a kitty but a witch. He made his mentor mad and she turned him into a kitty. I tried to make him not a kitty but he won't change. He said its cause I don't know what he looked like as a person. He also said that he can't change back till he learns his lesson. I told him he should read his book more but he just laughed at me and took a nap.

I am so bored right now. Mama Sookie is walking in the garden with Mr. Preston. I think she likes him a lot. I think he is nice. He can change into any animal he wants. He was a big doggy this morning and let me chase him. It was fun. Brande and Jackie played with us. They are fun too but I want to see Ms. 'Melia. I don't think Mama Sookie remembers her at all. She keeps forgetting lots of things. I hope she doesn't forget about me. I want to go home.

Sookie's Point of View

The last two days have been amazing. I feel like I have learned so much but still have things that are just out of my grasp. I love it here but I feel like something is missing. Hunter asked me earlier today if we could go see Ms. 'Melia. I had no idea who that was and he got sad when I tried to explain it to him.

I was excited when Preston asked me to go to the gardens with him. I feel more at ease when I am with him. "Preston why don't you call me Littl' Dove anymore?"

"Because Princess, it is not my place. I had hoped that one day you and I would be together but your heart belongs to someone else. I don't want to take that from you." This confuses me.

"What do you mean? There is no one else." I say firmly.

"But there is Princess you just don't remember. You have been in this realm too long. You are forgetting who you are and where you're from."

"Don't be silly. I am Princess Susanna and I am from the House of Brigant." Even saying this I can tell something is off.

"You are but you are also Sookie Stackhouse, the enchanting southern belle for Bon Temps, Louisiana. As much as it pains me to say this, you don't belong here. Neither does Hunter. Princess do you know how long you have been away from home? Do you remember your brother Jason?" The look on his face is a combination of pain and worry.

AN #2: I know horrible place to end right? I am going to try and get another chapter done this weekend so you won't have to wait too long. Leave a review and I may just be inspired to post sooner.
