Yayyy! Chater 11! Didn't keep you guys waiting for too long did I? And don't worry, I'll keep the fluff coming! P.S. I started working on this before the new christmas special came out but it kind of reminds me of it in some ways, see if you can notice them! Enjoy!

Chapter 11: Christmas

"Merry Christmas!" Everyone cheered, shoving their drinks into the air in celebration.

"Merry Christmas," Lucy said softly while looking at her surroundings, "But why are we doing this in my apartment?" Lucy asked, watching the chaos infront of her. Erza, Mira, and Cana were having a drinking contest with some kind of wine and Erza really seemed to be struggling with the taste. Lisanna and Wendy were setting up the table with food while Juvia and Levy tried breaking up the fight the boys were having currently. Why did this always have to happen to her.

"You got quite the place here, Lucy," Sting spoke suggestively as Natsu yanked on him by his collar. "How did you find this place?" She questioned quietly, she only expected to be with a tiny group of friends, but instead, more than she expected came. She also didn't expect the party to be at her lace either.

"Lucy, how do you get this radio to work?" Gajeel asked, while pressing buttons on the machine.

"That's... That's a VCR player... The radio's on the other side of the room." Lucy spoke in astonishment, Gajeel blinked before walking over to the actual radio and turned it on.

"Natsu! Get away from the food! It's not ready yet!" Lisanna yelled at Natsu, swatting his hand away before he got dragged away in a headlock by Gray who ended up getting tackled over by Sting. The only sane men in the apartment were Jellal, Laxus, and Rouge who were searching for horror movies to watch during Christmas.

"Lucy, come join us with the booze, we got plenty," Cana slurred, her face pink while Mira toppled over. Erza was soon yelling that there wasn't any booze left before Cana just handed her another bottle. "Where... Where did you even get alcohol from? We're underaged..." Lucy's voice cracked. If her room gets reported because of ruckus and they see the alcohol, she can say goodbye to her sweet time in Magnolia because she'll be back with her dad.

"Food's ready now!" Wendy sang in excitement, before Lucy could even blink, the table was already filled with her friends, some extra seats were pulled up since her table didn't hold up to the certain amount of people that were there. Everyone was sitting by their loved one, Levy and Gajeel, Gray and Juvia, Sting and Rouge (well, she didn't really know with them, there was some kind of bromance going on), Erza and Jellal, Mira and Laxus. Wendy and... Cana? Natsu was sitting by Gray and the only other seat left open was next to him so Lucy placed herself down by him, sitting between him and Lisanna.

Though the table was chaotic, Lucy was enjoying herself, at the mansion, she would never have an opportunity to eat with friends like this. She always ate by herself, even on special occasions since her father was always busy with work. She snapped out of her thoughts when she saw a fork sneaking on to her plate.

"Natsu! Back off!" She warned, their forks clashing in a duel. Natsu only took it as a challenge of course and fought back. Lucy was actually very hungry, and she wouldn't let anyone get in the way of her and her chicken, not even Natsu.

"I'm still hungry," Natsu argued making Lucy snarl. "I haven't even taken a bite out of my food," She countered, pushing her plate away from him, "That's because you're a weirdo!" He countered her counter.

"Natsu, let the girl eat, you fat ass," Gray turned his head away from Juvia who was trying to feed him but failed. Natsu turned from Lucy, making her sigh in relief before groan. "What'd you just call me, you slippery shit?" The two stood up, making almost everyone groan.

"Not at the table you morons," Laxus spoke rather calmly. Lucy smiled, atleast there was one person who had the same mind-set as her. "Do it in the living room or something." Never mind.

"Nobody's fighting at my place, go outside if you're gonna fight!" Lucy yelled, silencing the two men, making them sit back down. Once everyone finished their food Levy stood up from her seat with an excited smile.

"It's time for the gift exchange!" She cheered, Lucy had almost forgotten about that, and from the looks of others, it seemed they must've too.

"I'm so excited!" Wendy piped in, rushing over to the decent sized Christmas tree in Lucy's living room where all the presents were, shortly followed after everyone else. They all sat by the tree, grabbing their presents or passing them to other people.

"What the fuck, Natsu. Really?" Gajeel said while he unwrapped a hotwheel to him from Natsu. Natsu laughed with a shrug.

"That's what you get for getting me a box of matches on my birthday," He sneered. Lucy blinked, when was Natsu's birthday? Lucy unwrapped her first present from Lisanna and smiled at the fuzzy mittens she had recieved, she'd always been complaining to Lisanna that her hands were cold and she didn't have any gloves or mittens so this was very useful.

Juvia gave Gray a scarf that she "made out of love", he had thanked her but she must've forgotten that she'd already made him a scarf last month for the hell of it. Gajeel got Levy a matching bracelet set and everyone ignored their romantic moment that they shared as they gazed into each other's eyes.

Almost every present Erza recieved was cake and she was very content with all the different flavors but was especially excited whenever she would unwrap another strawberry cake. Lucy had recieved more bows for her hair from Gray and Mira and a book she had been wanting to get from Levy.

Lucy was actually a little nervous, what did Natsu get her? She looked around eagerly for a present to her from him but never found one, she started to wonder if he wanted a present from her. Would he think she was weird for getting him something, would he feel guilty for not getting her something back? Lucy lightly touched his present that was to her side with a slightly despondent sigh.

"Are you not going to open your present, or what?" Natsu questioned, snapping her out of her thoughts. She followed his eyes which were staring directly at his present.

"Oh, uh, this isn't mine," Lucy's face became a little pink and she stared at the gift. Natsu lifted a brow, "Then who's is it?" Lucy sighed before handing it to him, avoiding eye-conact. Why was she getting so nervous around him, it wasn't like it was anything special and all... Right?

"Ah, thanks, Lucy!" Natsu cheered before ripping the elegantly wrapped box. When he opened the box, there were various items in it.

"Oh, a deluxe combo," He joked, making Lucy glare. "Shut up! Be grateful I got you anything at all!" Lucy crossed her arms turning her head away. Natsu's eyes lowered for a quick second before he glanced back at the box with a smile.

She had packed his favorite snacks, along with another wristband because he loved to wear them, she also got a toy for his cat, Happy, and a beanie for the winter. There was a card at the bottom and he picked it up.

"Dear Natsu-" Lucy smacked her hands over his mouth. "Don't read it out loud! It's embarrassing!" She whispered with a hint of threat in her voice, making him shudder.

"Sheesh, okay okay." He laughed before reading the card.

Dear Natsu, thanks for sticking up for me on my first day. You were my very first friend I've ever had and I just wanted to say thanks even though it hasn't been a very long time I feel like we've known each other since forever. I hope we can stay friends for a very, very long time! Merry Christmas! Love Lucy.

Natsu gave Lucy a smug grin after reading the card, making her cheecks go pink. "Don't you dare even start-" She was interrupted when he reached over and wrapped his arms around her, catching her off guard. Lucy started to sweat, thank God nobody was paying attention or everyone would be teasing them, but mainly her. Her mind began to wonder and she started asking herself the serious questions, like when would he let go, or why he smelled so good?

Slowly, she found herself wrapping her arms into his embrace as well, resting her head on his collar bone.

"Ahh, love is always in the air durning Christmas, isn't it?" The two jumped when Cana wrapped her arms around them from behind.

"Cana!" Natsu yelled while she only snickered at them.

"Oh, I'm sorry. Did I ruin a very special moment? A moment when love collides with love, and the angels sing sweet lullabies?" Lucy's face flamed while Natsu turned a little pink as well.

"Cana, are you still drunk?"

"Probably."

"Okay, now that everyone's done with presents, we've picked out the perfect movie for this holiday." Jellal spoke confidently while he held up a horror movie. Everyone cheered besides Lucy and Wendy.

"A horror movie?" Lucy asked in confusion.

"Yeah, it's kind of a tradition to watch horror movies during parties." Gray replied while turning off the lights once the movie was in, the only light source in the whole apartment. Cana was already passed out from the alcohol and was wrapped like a burrito in a blanket and placed on the loveseat while Wendy sat in the small space left on it, wrapped in a blanket and shivering. She didn't really like horror movies.

There were blankets and pillows all on the floor where everyone sat since the other small sofa was taken up by Mira and Laxus. Gray and Juvia sat by the window, leanig on the wall. Well, Gray was, Juvia was leaning on him. Lucy didn't really know if she was actually paying attention to the movie. Lisanna and Levy shared a blanket while Gajeel sat next to Levy, excluded from the blanket. Jellal and Erza laid in the middle cuddling together. Sting and Rogue sat with Natsu and Lucy but the two were on opposite sides of the loveseat Cana and Wendy were on.

"Like I said before, if you get scared, you can always hold my hand." Natsu said in a hushed tone, making Lucy sigh while she held the blanket around her tighter. Wendy squealed behind them when a dead body fell from the ceiling while Gray and Gajeel laughed, Lucy didn't know if they were laughing at Wendy or if they were just twisted.

A bit more time went by before Natsu elbowed her, making her hiss and glare at him. "I guess we're sleeping over too." He chuckled making Lucy blink. She looked around and saw Laxus and Mira sleeping, Levy and Lisanna were cuddled together but Gajeel was still up, but he was lying down in a more comfortable position. Gray was out cold but somewhere along the line, Juvia became deeply engrossed into the movie. Sting and Rogue were on the verge of falling asleep, Erza and Jellal were completely awake though and seemed to be enjoying the movie. Lucy never checked behind her, but she was sure Wendy was asleep now too. She could only sigh in defeat.

"Oh yeah, why do you have scary movies if you don't like them?" Natsu asked quietly, making Lucy shrug.

"I guess it was for occasions like this," Lucy smiled softly and Natsu stared at her a bit longer before digging into his pocket, Lucy turned her head to look at him in curiosity. He pulled out a small box and Lucy could only watch as he handed it over to her. "This is... For you." He seemed kind of bashful as Lucy took the unwrapped box from him, opening it to find a simple necklace with a star pendant.

"It's not that much, but I thought you'd like it since you like stars so much and all," He said as his eyes wandered everywhere but to her, Lucy laughed softly, catching his attention. "So you actually did get me something afterall." Lucy joked with him, causing him to only shrug and shove his hands in his pockets as if a huge weight had been lifted from his chest.

"Thank you." He glanced back at her and watched as she put it on and then looked up at him. He didn't know why, but his chest seemed to jump while she watched him, as if expecting something. He felt his face get a little warmer along with the rest of his body and he found himself leaning in to her, his face getting closer to hers before his eyes widened and he slowly pulled away, looking back at the screen and merely giving her a nod.

Lucy's heart was pounding, she didn't know if it was just her eyes playing tricks on her or if Natsu's face was getting closer to hers. She started to become jittery, she was nervous he'd hear her heart that was banging against her chest.

This was bad.

Lucy Heartfilia was starting to catch feelings.
