Didn't really think people would be reading this, YAY.

Thank you for your review guest! :3

"Here we are!" She smiled, putting her hands behind her back.

"Alrighty. Thanks, Alice." I nodded, putting my own in my pockets.

"I can meet you after class to walk you to Chemistry if you'd like." She looked hopeful as she gave me the option of not getting lost.

"Oh totally. That'd be great." I nodded quickly, giving her a small smile. She broke out into a grin.

"Great! Your day is going to go so well! By the way, I'd sit in the back row next to the blonde girl if I were you. Shes my sister so I'm a little biased but she draws wonderfully." Alice clapped her hands together then popped her head through the door motioning to the back row. I popped my head in after her, bumping shoulders as she pulled back a bit.

The same blonde girl from the cafeteria was in the back row but the creepy guy wasn't in this class, thankfully. She smiled a little and waved at me which I returned with a bit of awkwardness. This school was a bunch more welcoming than I thought it would be. Though it could just be because I stumbled onto the super friendly girl that would introduce me to everything and everyone. That actually kinda made me feel a little better. At least now there was a chance I'd only be carless in Forks instead of carless and friendless.

"Alright, I'll see you after class." She put a hand on my shoulder when I popped my head back out of the art class room. It was just as cold as before but that wasn't exactly strange. I mean the school had their AC on and it was like 41 degrees Fahrenheit outside.

"Alrighty." I smiled back at her, even going so far as to give her a thumbs up. I think my mood getting better had a lot to do with the whole possible friend thing. It made the day a lot better when you might have some friends. She squeezed my shoulder as she smiled at me and then nodded. Turning, she let go of my shoulder and started back down the hallway, almost skipping.

I stepped carefully into the classroom, handing my slip of paper to the teacher. I really only had a pencil and a notebook with me today in terms of school supplies. Again, not so great at planning ahead. She just nodded to me, handing it back so I followed the paths between desks up to the back row and sat down next to Alice's sister.

"You must be Emilie." She spoke with southernish accent before I got a single word out.

"Yeah." I nodded slowly, taking in her appearance. She and Alice had the same eyes and skin tone but I think she was a foot taller than Alice, they were the same level of odd beauty but instead of Alice's quirky nature, she seemed more reserved. She didn't try to shake my hand, just smiled at me from the other side of the desk. She dressed more, old timey, I guess. A floral dress with a blouse over it, it covered her shoulders and back from view. Alice had newer tastes, I think.

"Oh sorry, that must be strange, a random girl already knowing who you are. I'm Catharin Hale. Alice already told everyone in our family about you, so you might get that a lot today." She grinned with less teeth as she laughed. She seemed more...wise? I guess? She didn't talk as fast nor did she really move a lot when she spoke.

"Right. Yeah. Shes really...enthusiastic." I gave her an awkward smile, shrugging.

"Shes a ball of energy, alright. Just wait till she gets excited." She let out a snort which made me smile in turn. It was so unladylike which didn't quite fit her image, or the image I'd seen so far. She seemed really down to earth which I personally loved in a friend so all in all, I was really hoping I'd make one today.

"So um, how many siblings do you have then?" I asked, making conversation as people slowly started coming in through the door.

"Oh there's six of us total. My twin, Rosalie, then Emmett, Edward, Jasper, and Alice." She nodded, counting off her fingers.

"Wow. Your parents must have been busy." I cracked the joke, then felt like maybe that wasn't entirely appropriate to say to a girl you'd just met about her family.

"We're all adopted." She snorted again with a grin.

"Oh wow." I let out a little high pitched laugh, at least she wasn't offended?

"Today, we're trying out life drawings." The teacher called out from the front of the class signaling it'd begun. I pulled out my one notebook and listiened in to the front of the class.

Alice was there right after class as she said she would be. I was almost surprised but kept pretty quiet as we went along. She was chatting about everything she'd done in her class then jumped to asking how mine was. We came into the chemistry room before I knew it. I went to plug my phone charger into the electrical outlet on the desk and got zapped. I jumped from the current and my finger went numb but it wasn't anything out of the ordinary.

"Are you okay? Should I take you to the nurse's office?" Alice instead was quite worried as she took my hand, inspecting the finger.

"Oh it happens sometimes. I'm fine." I shrugged as she turned over my hand, frowning.

"That happens a lot then? Getting zapped?" She asked sounding interesting.

"Yup." I nodded.

"Can you send the current to other people?" She asked again as I raised a brow at her.

"I mean if I rub my feet on the carpet and touch someone, sometimes they get zapped too. Like sometimes I shock my mom by accident." I determined with another shrug.

"Do you get lonely with just your mother?" She nodded quickly, tracing a small circle into the palm of my hand. I was a little thrown she hadn't let go of it yet but focused on her question. It was odd how personal she'd suddenly gotten but I brushed it off in hopes of making friends here still.

"Um. I mean I am an only child so I did when I was younger." I answered slowly. She pursed her lips, not saying anything else, so I went to slowly slide my hand out of hers. It took some pulling before Alice seemed to realise what I was trying to do and let my hand go entirely.

After I got my hand back, I turned and faced the teacher who had just walked back in. He'd signed my sheet and walked out to get a book. When he came back, he plopped it on my desk with a loud bang that made me jump slightly.

Alice walked me to the cafeteria to be pulled aside by another blonde with pale skin and dark eyes. I guessed this was Catharin's twin, Rosalie. She was absolutely beautiful in an old Hollywood way with blonde curls and curves but didn't look happy to see me. They spoke in hushed whispers for a few seconds before Alice motioned for me to go ahead without her. I did so and found that the cafeteria was now a hub of activity.

There were teenagers yelling and throwing things as a game, all the separate tables were full of people having their own conversations. I felt a little lost and confused without Alice there to direct me which was a little off putting. I felt like I was independent in general so I decided to prove it and get my own food and talk to someone. I got the tray of food and searched over the cafeteria to find someone to talk too. Someone that looked just as awkward as I felt.

"Hey." A girly voice greeted me. I turned to see a brunette around my height with a friendly smile. Maybe she was actually the super friendly one in school, I mean she started the conversation without me having too.

"Hi. I'm Emilie." I gave her a small smile, feeling just a tad shy and out of place.

"Jessica. You're the new girl, right?" She asked, pulling away from the lunch line herself with a tray of food.

"That obvious, huh?" I nodded quickly with the same small smile as before.

"Yeah. You had that lost puppy look going on." She grinned. I shrugged with tense shoulders, the sounds of a full cafeteria and people were starting to close in on me.

"Well, uh. you can sit with us over there." She motioned with her head after I didn't say anything. I really needed to start to reply to people. After a while they'd just stop starting the conversation. I mean I'd lucked out twice today by meeting the super friendly people, the school couldn't have that many more of them.

"Awesome!" I dictated with a bit of forced enthusiasm.

"So you're from like Las Vegas, right?" She made conversation. I nodded.

"Yeah, not as much gambling as you'd think once you get out of the downtownish touristy area." I replied, following her. She laughed at that.

"I bet it was more interesting than Forks." She responded.

"Probably." I agreed with a grin. She snorted at that and sat her tray down next to a blonde haired guy.

"Hey guys, this is Emilie. New girl." Jessica introduced me as I gave a small finger wave, still holding my tray.

"Oh, hey. I'm Mike." The blonde boy greeted as he shifted down, giving me room to sit down.

"Thanks." I smiled gratefully at him. After that the table went around introducing themselves. There was an Angela, Eric, Jessica who I'd met already and then Mike. Really the only person that didn't introduce themselves was Lauren, Angela told me her name when Lauren just sort of rolled her eyes and kept texting. That kinda made me feel crappy but I tried to ignore it.

"So. Anything interesting around here?" I queried hopefully.

"All the interesting things are in Port Angeles." Mike snorted, shaking his head at my question.

"Hey! We have one interesting thing." Jessica defended. I looked back at her to ask what it was when she just sort of continued in a lower tone.

"The Cullens." She let the name roll off her tongue with some delight. It sounded like this was popular gossip subject since Lauren left her phone to join in.

"Thats pretty much the only interesting thing. " Lauren snorted. I raised my brows at this. Alice was a Cullen, right?

"Whats so interesting about them?" I looked around at the table as it went quiet. I mean the paleness and the beauty was interesting but I didn't think it was enough for the family to be a main topic of conversation.

"You already know about the Cullens?" Jessica asked sounding surprised.

"Yes?" I nodded slowly. Was that the right answer? Is there one?

"What? Who told you? Was it Jennifer?" She asked, exasperated. It sounded like she was little miffed that someone beat her to talking about the family.

"I don't know a Jennifer." I shook my head.

"Then who?" Lauren asked from across the table.

"Um, Alice?" I responded warily, looking around. Everyone's face drifted into varying expressions of shocked and annoyed.

"So then you know how weird the whole family is, right?" Jessica asked conspiratorially.

"I didn't think they were that weird." I shrugged, taking a bite of lettuce.

"Seriously? The whole family is dating each other." Jessica just sort of stared at me for a second, incredulous.

"Really?" I raised a brow, not really believing her. Pretty sure that was incest.

"Uh yeah. Rosalie and Emmett are a thing then Catharin and Jasper are a thing. Like only Alice and Edward are single and we're all pretty sure Edward is either gay or has a serious crush on Catharin." Lauren answered me from the other side of the table, not bothering to keep her voice down.

"Wow." I replied, surprised. Must of missed the memo on that.

"Are you sure you met Alice Cullen and not Allison Johnson?" Mike asked me with a bit of light laughter.

"Pretty sure. I only know of an Allison from back in Nevada." I looked back at him and nodded slowly. He stared for a second before laughing lightly and leaning closer to me.

"We need to work on getting you into the realm of normal people, Annily." He snorted, shaking his head as he patted me on the shoulder. His hand was little bit warmer which was almost nice because I was cold as hell right now.

"Emilie." I corrected with a small smile. The table began asking me all sorts of questions about my encounter, putting me on the spot for a lot of things. They tended to disagree with how I saw the interaction calling it strange instead of nice or weird instead of kind.
