A/N: VERY IMPORTANT MESSAGE HERE! If you haven't read The Vampire Diaries's novels then some of the events will be confusing to you and the names too. I do apologize for this, but it's because I've already used the TV series' Bonnie's parents' names as the aunt and the uncle and I can't think of any names. I think that we won't in this chapter explain Bonnie's mother and other certain things.
I just blew up right now with so many ideas and I'm quickly writing them done and connecting them to each other for this story which I know you will all probably love. I love that I am combing the novels with the TV series though the novels are pretty complicated if you read them, but still good in the end.
Here's to you guys liking this chapter. Enjoy!

"So what did happen to Katherine Pierce?"
Damon stiffened at Marcel's innocent question when they were at Alaric's apartment or as he would call it…The Cave. Alaric gave a low sigh as he sat at the desk that was filled with various computers with different screens and wires connecting. Alaric was a technical man and so was his wife, Jenna, but no one knew that about them. It was actually their secret life. They worked for the FBI…very good at their jobs.
Damon had remembered when Alaric was uncover and disguised as a history teacher in a town called, "Mystic Falls" because there was an unknown hacker. That's how they met each other, whether it was love at first sight or not, there was definitely something between the two that made Damon determined to get them together. In the end, Jenna had been the notorious hacker that they were looking for. Everyone was surprised by her intelligence even Alaric and Damon who gaped at her when they found her hideout.
Alaric managed to convince both the FBI and Jenna for her to work for them as their hacker. Now she was on the elite team of other FBI agents that use their skills to put the criminals away. It was a stressful job according to Alaric, but Jenna seemed to immediately like it on her first day. Alaric was the muscle and she was the brains. He was smart too, but she was smarter. They still held their disguises though, just for safety of themselves and the Bureau.
If you had asked Damon who he trusted…he would immediately think of Alaric Saltzman, but tell you to fuck off.
Damon noticed that Alaric tensed too. Alaric and Jenna both knew what happened with Katherine although he never told him. Somehow they just knew…they called it a hunch. Damon pursed his lips and his eyes became cold and hard.
"Nothing," Kol said.
Confusion and suspicion spread all over their faces as they looked at Kol who was looking at his nails as he leaned against the wall. The Cave was a very large and gigantic room. It was underground which you had to take an elevator just to get to…probably fifteen or twenty feet underground. The walls were white and were the lights for the room. The ground was cement that was as soft as silk and very soft, but slippery when you had socks on.
It was just him, Alaric, Marcel, and Kol. They dropped Rebekah, Klaus, and Charles off at Damon's go-to-hotel which was, Trump International Hotel & Tower New York. He put security at their door just in case Mason pulls the same thing with them just like he did to Bonnie.
It was hard to think about her.
His thoughts would be consumed of just her which made it even worse.
Then his mind would go to that dark place where he wondered what Mason Lockwood was doing to her.
Damon twirled the ring in his pocket as he thought about how he was going to propose to her and he knew that he either sounded like an idiot or that he sounded like a lovesick fool, but the fact remains…he always loved Bonnie Bennet even when she confessed to him about what had happened to her and who she really was. She trusted him and he trusted her. He made another promise to himself that he was going to tell her everything including his father, sister, and Katherine. He didn't want to have a marriage with her when there were still secrets between them.
"Please, don't leave us in suspense and do tell," Damon growled lowly.
Kol chuckled. "She hates you, Damon. She hates you and your family. She's out for blood-why do you think that Mason is here and has Bonnie? I'll bet her life on that Katherine is the one pulling the strings on all of this. Alaric, mate, has your wife found Bonnie yet?"
Alaric glared at Kol. "No," he grumbled.
"Why's that? You do both work for the FBI and she is a hacker." Kol argued, actually making sense.
"Why can't you find her?" Marcel asked curiously.
"Jenna says that she's being moved all over the place."
"Who? Bonnie?" Damon asked.
"No. Both." Alaric stood up and clicked a couple of a buttons on the keyboard which showed a virtual map of a bunch of red and blue dots with wavy lines connecting them. Damon wasn't surprised that the FBI was more advanced in technology than the world would ever be. "Like for example, Jenna would get a reading on signal of Bonnie because of that tracking device that was put on her by an unknown suspect."
"We know who the unknown suspect is and it's Mason Lockwood." Marcel said.
Alaric shook his head. "It's not him sadly. This is someone much smarter than him. If Katherine is even alive-"
"Which she is." Kol said.
"Then it's not her."
"How? You said that it's someone smart and Katherine happens to be very smart. That's why my father hired her. She was cunning." Damon said.
"This is much bigger than any of us realize. I think that Katherine is just the disguise…you know make us and anyone else think that it's really her so she would be the one to take the blame for it. Whoever it is, is very intelligent and is holding a grudge over your family…or Bonnie's."
Damon arched an eyebrow and Marcel asked, "Could it be both?"
Alaric thought it over for a moment then shrugged. "I guess, but the odds that it would be both are very unlikely…there is something you should know, Marcel."
"What? What is it?"
"A couple of days ago, your mother, Ailsa MacLachlan McCullough filed two missing person reports after she got home from her business trip in Canada. Her husband, Colin McCullough and your brother, Connor McCullough. There was nothing to go on and it looks like the case has gone cold because there were no fingerprints. The place was so spotless and clean. Now usually if it were one missing person, the police would consider the option that maybe that person left or something, but that's not the case and it's two people from the same family." Alaric told him. "Do you live with your parents?"
"Yeah, sometimes," Marcel replied softly.
"I think that the person who abducted them was after you, but they had to compromise."
"What made you think that," Kol asked.
"His room was trashed like they were looking for something or someone. Connor hears the noise, inspects it and they take him. I think it was Mason who did it."
"Why didn't just leave Connor and take father instead? Why did he need two people?" Marcel wondered aloud.
Alaric shrugged. "I don't know, but it's very…"
"Creepy," Damon said with furrowed eyebrows in distaste.
"Remember Damon…Katherine loves to play games," Kol said.
Damon gave a chuckle and muttered, "How could I forget her mind games? She loved to have people wrapped around her finger, but she never like loose ends just like my father."
"Maybe your father knew that Katherine was bad and apart of something dangerous and that was why he had her killed," Alaric suggested. Damon thought it over and said nothing as he continued, "Maybe he was trying to protect you from whoever it was that was trying to hurt you."
Damon scoffed. "My father didn't love anyone, but himself."
"Ok, then maybe he was trying to protect himself then what? Huh?" Marcel asked, him and Damon both thinking about how Stefan killed him already.
"I think I have their plan figured out," Jenna exclaimed as she came out of the elevator. "Now, this is just a theory so bare with me and consider it possible. The first part of their plan is simple really. It's kind of like divide and conqueror."
"Continue," Damon said.
"Your sister if I'm correct, died almost two years ago?" Damon nodded solemnly and Jenna smiled widely. "Well, I don't think that her car crash was an accident. You loved her very much, didn't you?"
"Yes, what has that got to anything?" Damon asked coldly, the subject of his sister made him become icy and hard to like.
"Whoever this guy or they are, they are taking away the people you love most. Mari was the first to go because you loved her the most. There were police reports and 911 phone calls made, your sister was sure someone was following her and she was very scared. Katherine would've been the second one to go because she was your lover and you would've done anything for her, but she was probably in on their plan the whole time so she gets to live."
She continued, "I saw the front page about you and Bonnie which means that they saw it too and decided that Bonnie was next."
"So what you're saying is that Bonnie's dead?" Marcel asked softly.
"No!" she snapped. "If anything, Bonnie is the one who has to be kept alive. She's your love, your heart, your soul, your rock so when they have already killed everyone that you love and probably some of hers than once they have you, they'll kill her first then you. She's the most important person in your life it seems so she has to suffer the most. Isabella Salvatore-your mother just filled two missing person reports, Damon. One of them is your father and the other is…"
Damon came closer to her as she looked down. He asked coldly, "Who is the other one?"
"Damon," Alaric warned. "Back off, ok? Jenna has done so much already so give her some space."
Jenna looked up and told him the last name. Damon froze and felt his entire body go into a silent and yet uncontrollable rage as he backed away from her.
I'm going to kill them, he thought darkly.
Connor and Bonnie didn't talk to each other for the next few days. Connor was put in the far corner of the basement, but next to her bed. He was chained and handcuffed to a pole from which he couldn't move, but he tried to move all the damn time even when Bonnie was sleeping which really annoyed her, but she never showed this emotion aloud.
Bonnie sat the bed and her head shot up when she heard the door open. She heard whimpers and multiple footsteps as they came down the stairs. Connor sat up too, his face curious as to who was coming down those steps that they both seemed to despise so much now. They suddenly turned their heads to each other and Connor gave her a very soft smile and a nod as if saying not to worry and that he'll get them out of here. Bonnie returned the smile and nod then looked back to the stairs.
Her breath caught in her throat as a soft voice said, "Agent Swan?"
"Margaret!" she exclaimed. "Go! Run! Get out! Go!"
Bonnie struggled to get off of the bed, but the shackles around her ankles restricted her from doing so. Margaret came running towards her and quickly crawled onto the bed, jumping into her open arms. Margaret tightly wrapped her arms around her waist and said, "I was so scared! I-I didn't k-know-"
"It's alright," Bonnie cooed. "It's not your fault. Nothing is."
"Aw," Mason taunted. "How sweet."
"You monster," Bonnie snapped. "She's just a child."
"You're right…it isn't her fault, but she was born into the wrong family sadly."
"Go to hell," Bonnie yelled as he went back up the stairs and locked the door shut.
Margaret cried softly into her chest and Bonnie shushed her softly, stroking her wild brown hair. She had tear-stained cheeks and she looked like she was pulled from her bed. Bonnie knew that she probably was sleeping when they took her. Margaret was wearing a light blue nightgown and white socks though under them, it was dirty and there were tiny bits of leaves and sticks stuck to them. This told Bonnie that they were in the woods and in the middle of nowhere because no one could hear the yells for help or the screams of pain.
Bonnie held onto the girl tightly and swore that she would never let go, in fear that if she did then something bad might happen to her.
She's just a child…a little girl who doesn't deserve this.
She's an innocent.
