Thanks everyone for the reviews of the last chapter, sorry if i upset anyone with Rachel's response to being asked out. I personally felt like Quinn deserved it for messing around with Rachel but its all coming out in the wash so to speak. This is probably the second last chapter but i am not sure about that just yet. I might keep it going a little longer dependent on how you, the readers, feel about it.

Rachel hadn't said anything to anyone about Quinn asking her out, preferring to keep it to herself. During the following week how ever the female Berry found herself regretting saying no to Quinn. She really did want to date the blonde but she was scared that Quinn would not want to take it as seriously as Rachel herself.
So Friday had come around and Quinn still hadn't said anything to Rachel regarding the matter and Rachel was getting a little worried that she had missed her chance. Rachel found herself moping by the end of the day as she made her way to Glee club and found her seat without looking up. Had she looked up she would have seen Quinn standing in the middle of the room beside Mr. Schue watching her.
Rachel had been the last one to show up so when she was settled the glee club director got everyone's attention and explained a few things regarding some song choices and their friendly rivals the Warblers. Then Mr Schue explained that Quinn wanted to sing a song which had Rachel looking up at the blonde curiously.
"Thanks Mr. Schue." Quinn said with a smile as she indicated the band behind her could start to play.
Everyone sat and listened to the brief intro before Quinn began to sing and Rachel felt a radiant smile growing across her face at the familiar song.

Quinn stepped closer to Rachel making it obvious to the others that the blonde was singing to the short brunette and no one else.

Rachel beamed and when Quinn extended her hand out to the brunette she willingly took the hand and let herself be pulled up as they began to sing the rest of the song together.

The two were looking at one another as the song ended, both smiling and when it became quiet Quinn sighed and looked seriously at the brunette before she spoke.
"Rachel, I like you because of who you are. You aren't fake like most people our age. You know what you want and you plan on getting it. You are nice even if you are awfully blunt and sometimes come across as... well a bit bitchy. Your also beautiful to me. Will you go out with me?" Quinn asked a little hesitantly.
Rachel stared at the blonde for a long few moments before she swore she felt someone staring at her, she looked over her shoulder and saw Santana silently urging her to respond to the blonde.
"Yes." Rachel said after a while.
Quinn was so relieved and happy that she leaned forward forgetting herself and kissing Rachel hard yet chastely on the mouth. Rachel smiled when Quinn leaned back looking a little shocked at her own action and then glared at the boys as they started cat calling.
Rachel had agreed to a home cooked meal at Quinn's house that night for their first date and she soon found herself standing at the blondes front door knocking gently. She wasn't left waiting for long as the door swung open and Quinn stood looking at her with a wide smile. Quinn was wearing a knee length red dress with spaghetti straps over her shoulders.
"You look great Rachel." Quinn said as she stepped back and let the brunette into the house.
Rachel smiled and returned the compliment honestly as she followed the blonde into the dining room. Rachel was wearing a short black skirt and a rich purple blouse that clung to her in all the right places. They sat and Quinn served them both a vegetarian pasta dish that had Rachel's mouth watering.
The conversation was light and Rachel found herself genuinely enjoying herself as the night progressed. It was almost an hour later when Quinn stood up and looked down at Rachel, she looked a little anxious.
"I have some desert, would you like some?" Quinn asked before moving off to the kitchen without waiting for a response.
Rachel frowned a little and then chuckled softly before she stood up and walked after the blonde. Quinn was standing at the kitchen counter messing with something in front of her and Rachel stood in the doorway and watched her for a moment before speaking softly.
"Are you nervous Quinn?"
"Rachel! You scared me... A little." Quinn admitted as she turned around and looked at the small brunette.
"That's a little perplexing for me. You were so at ease when you were coming onto me a could of weeks go." Rachel pointed out with a raised eyebrow.
"Yes, but i'm actually trying to impress you now." Quinn explained with a nervous laugh.
"I'm going to be blunt with you Quinn..." Rachel said stepping a little closer to the nervous blonde.
Quinn instantly looked more anxious and she actually expected to hear Rachel say that this was just not going to work. What did come out of the brunettes mouth was very shocking and unexpected and left Quinn speechless.
"I want you." Rachel's voice had dropped to a sultry tone as she stepped yet closer to blonde.
"Y-you do?" Quinn swallowed convulsively as her mouth went dry.
