Chapter 10 Chained Wings
I felt like my head was about to burst. I was seeing so many images. All my fake memories was being replaced by new ones, my old, nostalgic, original memories. All I could see was darkness surrounding me. Suddenly my dark surroundings cracked, like a mirror after it fell, a bright light shining through. As everything shattered around me, my vision blurred and darkness overtook my vision.
My eyes fluttered open, the light too bright for me to fully open my eyes. "Hakuryuu?" I said looking at him. There were only the two of us there.
"Let's go, I don't know where the rest went, but we need to get you out of here as fast as possible," he said as he grabbed my hand and started towards the door just before a bright being appeared before us.
"Cynoria..." I mumbled.
"Now that you have recovered your memories, I am finally free," she said.
"What do you mean, you're free?" Hakuryuu asked, confused
"My being was one that was never meant to exist as well as the witch's 'father'. Part of me was sealed in Karujiko. When both of you destroyed her, I was complete. As a deity, I was able to truly, finally exist," she said, a joyous look plastered on her face. "You have my thanks," Cynoria turned around to look at the shattered glass pieces of the mirror that we came out from. "I can't destroy the witch's 'father', we are the same after all. That's why I need your help. Morgiana, you are the only one that can. You escaped from their spell," Cynoria said as she looked at me. "You are the only one..." Her voice became softer as she started to dissipate and disappear into crystal-like dust.
"Morgiana!" Naomi and Noielle, now in human form, said in shock as we came out of the door and proceeded to run towards me and hugged me. Jennifer and Leana did the same. Now that I looked at them, they looked around the age of 14 to 15.
"Thank you, Morgiana," Rosette said.
"No need to thank me, I was just trying to get out too," I said to her, shaking my head. I couldn't stop think about what Cynoria said.
We continued as we were trying to find our way out. We came across this round room with a huge circle and a small circle in the middle with six pentagons surrounding it. There was a statue of a beautiful lady with one angel wing on one side covering half of the body. I couldn't help but stare at it.
"Hurry... We have to get out of this room... I don't have a good feeling about this..." Aladdin said as we started walking faster.
I felt an urge to look at the statue again. When I looked at its half-opened eyes, a voice spoke to me, more like it was in my mind. This voice... I have never heard it before but it felt so nostalgic.
The voice said, "Come here... I'll bring you to where you belong... I'll set you free..." I suddenly froze. I couldn't move. It felt as if something was holding me in place.
"Morgiana? What's wrong?" Hakuryuu said, looking back at me. I couldn't even move my head or even open my mouth to say something. I just had a horrified look on my face.
As if me stopping has triggered a switch, the statue of the lady came alive and started attacking Hakuryuu and the others. Suddenly as if on cue, the six remaining girls started walking towards the six pentagons surrounding the circle in the middle and stood in the middle of each pentagon, as if something was controlling them.
"Come here, Morgiana," a familiar voice said. My body started moving, my legs moved step by step towards the middle of the circle and there was someone there. I was scared. I tried to stop but it was useless. I closed my eyes shut so that I wouldn't have to see what was coming.
Suddenly, I stopped walking. When I opened my eyes, I saw something I didn't want to. Before I knew it, I had come face to face with the witch.
