"Inuyasha I want you to protect Kagome okay!"
I gave a giggle and looked back up at my father giving him a reassuring smile.
InuTaisho's POV
We were almost to the castle, just probably about a few more hours but until then I wanted to bond with my new daughter!
"So Kagome, before you came here how was everything?"
She looked up at me and thought for a few minutes, I let her take her time since she was still pretty young. Inuyasha was looking at her with interest as well, I could see he wanted to know more about his new found sister.
"Well, I played with my friends and helped my mama around the house when my grandpa couldn't. I think you already know about my daddy..." she trailed off "B-but I have you now! And I know you'll never leave me, I don't think my daddy wanted to leave me but I guess he needed to..."
I smiled, knowing that she now has a fatherly figure to look up to.
'I still think that a human father would fit her'
"C'mon hop on, I wanna get you home as soon as possible!"
I lifted them both up on my shoulders and raced home, I've got to get arrangements together so everything will be perfect for her. After all she is special...
