It's Tough Being Grimm

A trio of Beowolves sat in a clearing in the forest. All was quiet, and nothing disturbed the peace. After a few moments of silence, one Beowolf finally decided to break the ice.

"So, uh, initiation's today. What do you think about that?"

One of the other two Beowolves, the larger of the three, shrugged. "A few, but no more than ten dead. Mostly Ursas, my guess."

The third Beowolf blinked at the response. "Mostly Ursas? Why you think that, Ben?"

He shrugged again. "I dunno, Frank. There's that new bunch of guys, and they just love rushing into trouble. They'll probably all get themselves killed. You know what I'm saying Willy?"

The first Beowolf nodded. "Yeah, I mean, I don't have anything against Ursas in general, but those three in particular are complete idiots."

The third one, named Frank, shook his head. "Well, how's about the others then?"

Ben chuckled at the thought. "I'm saying one of each."

Willy nodded in agreement. "Aww, yeah. One Taijitu, one Nevermore, and one Death Stalker. Boarbatusks will probably all run and hide though."

The two heads of the King Taijitu watched silently from a safe distance as one of the students stood in the middle a large clearing. The white head turned to the black head and spoke.

"What's he doing?"

The black head hung it's head in annoyance. "He's just standing there not doing anything. He's not doing anything. That's what he was doing five minutes ago when you asked me, and five minutes from now when you ask me again, he'll still be doing the same thing. Nothing!"

Three Ursi stood in the forest. They had been talking, but the conversation had died down. Then, unexpectedly, something landed on one of them.

The other two Ursi exchanged worried glances, and one of them tried to alert their unfortunate friend. "Uh... Dan? I don't know how to tell you this, but..."

The other one finished for him. "There's something on your head."

Dan, the unfortunate, looked at his companions with confusion. "What? What is it, like a spider? Get it off!"

They looked at each other again, and then one of them tried again. "No, it looks more like a human."

Dan was starting to panic. "What, like a human spider? Get it off!"

Explosive grenades started flying off of his head, launched by the human. Terrified, Dan ran for the hills.

Two Death Stalkers exchanged glances as their friend ran off into the distance. Two small humans had invaded the city cave, and the immediate response was for all lights to be shut off. Unfortunately, one of the humans had stupidly grabbed on to Gavin's tail. Gavin hadn't been too happy about it, and had chased the humans away while yelling something about them probably being the humans that had been peeing on his floor. Gus and Burnie, the two that we are now left with, knew that this was ridiculous because humans don't pee.

Gus looked to Burnie. "Well, at least we can turn the lights back on now."

Burnie nodded and turned around. "Alright, they're gone! Lights on, everybody!"

The Death Stalker city lights came back on, revealing a massive cavern with thousands of Death Stalkers walking around. However, in amongst the crowds of giant Grimm scorpions, stood a small Faunus girl with bunny ears. Gus and Burnie looked at each other when they saw her, and they spoke in unison.

"Aww, crap."

After Jaune and Pyrrha were far away from the caves, battling Gavin the Death Stalker, the entire mountain exploded. Velvet flew from the giant fireball and landed on the ground in a dynamic pose. She looked up in time to see a dozen or so other students... watching some tiny girl drag a Nevermore up a cliff. Not a one of them had seen here amazing feat.

Velvet looked down at the ground. "Every darn time..."

Someone put a hand on her shoulder. "Don't worry, Velvet. Someday, with enough training, you might be as cool as Ruby Rose and be able to take down such a large Grimm all by yourself."

Author's Note: I'm just making up for leaving this sitting around doing nothing for so long.
