Story of Chikorita (ChikoShipping)
"She's too close!" Chikorita puffed her cheeks in frustration. Pikachu glanced over at her while eating an apple.
"What are you talking about?" Pikachu said in between bites.
"That red-haired chick! She's too close to my Ash!" Chikorita pointed. Pikachu looked over at Ash, Misty, and Brock sitting at a picnic table and enjoying lunch. Misty was sitting next to Ash while Brock was across the table from them. All three of them were laughing warmly about something.
Pikachu narrowed his eyes in a mock manner toward the Grass-type Pokémon. "C'mon, now. She's just sitting next to him."
"She's trying to get a kiss!" Chikorita flailed her stubby arms. "I know it!"
"If that were true, that'd be a disgusting kiss," Pikachu smirked. "They're eating."
"That doesn't seem too matter to that tramp!" the Grass starter exclaimed. "Ash would smack her so hard! Maybe they won't be friends anymore!"
"Oh my Mew, Chikorita," Pikachu huffed. "You're going a little overboard."
"Am not!"
"You sure are."
"Am not!"
"Yep."
"Am not!"
"Definitely true."
"NO!" Chikorita yelled, pounding the ground. "NO, NO, NO!"
Pikachu rolled his eyes. "Ugh."
"I'm not letting her win! Ash is mine!" Chikorita began trotting in place like a Ponyta.
Pikachu finished his apple and threw the core behind him. "And how do you expect to win his affections?"
Chikorita glanced over at the table and noticed the three humans standing up. They were finished with their lunch. Brock began gathering the dishes to clean them by the pond while Ash and Misty were walking over to the large tree not far from them.
"Like this!" Chikorita suddenly charged toward Ash and Misty. Pikachu was staring at her in a monotonous manner, but that instantly changed the second he noticed her pick up speed. The yellow Mouse Pokémon's eyes widened.
"No, Chikorita!" he yelled. "Don't!"
But it was too late. Before Ash could glance over to figure out what Pikachu was hollering about, Chikorita lunged toward Misty.
"Yah!" Chikorita cried and rammed straight into Misty's legs.
"Oww!" Misty fell over into a heap on the ground while Chikorita landed upright and stood proud over her limp figure.
"I win!" Chikorita smiled.
"M-Misty!" Ash ran over to Misty and knelt down next to her. "Are you okay?"
"O-oww," Misty whined. Ash helped her to sit up, suddenly joined by Brock.
"Can you stand?" Brock asked her.
"I'm not sure…" Misty rubbed her leg. "It doesn't hurt too bad, but that'll leave a bruise…"
"Just sit still for a minute," Brock told her.
Chikorita looked over at Pikachu. He was facepalming.
"Chikorita!" Chikorita glanced over as she heard Ash call out to her. She was beaming, but her expression immediately turned sour when she noticed the angry look on his face.
"Why did you Tackle Misty?" Ash asked. "That wasn't very nice!"
"But she—!"
"No excuses! I'm returning you to your Poké Ball!" Ash pulled out Chikorita's Poké Ball from his belt.
"No, Ash, no! I'm sorr—" Chikorita was cut off as the red light enveloped her and sucked her into the capsule.
"I don't know what made you think that was a good idea," Pikachu was talking to Chikorita later that night. Chikorita had gotten a good scolding from Ash and was told that if she pulled anything like that again, he would return her to Professor Oak. She shut up and promised not to do it again.
Now she was pouting as Ash, Misty, and Brock were eating dinner at the same table from earlier.
"Shut up," Chikorita glared at the table.
"Misty didn't even do anything wrong," Pikachu mentioned. "Besides, even if she did like Ash, he's too dense for his own good."
Chikorita didn't respond, watching as Ash got up from the table. He picked up something off of the table and began walking over to her and Pikachu.
"Here, guys!" Ash set down a bowl of Pokémon food. "Here's your dinner!"
Chikorita blushed as Ash smiled at her. Even though he had been mad at her earlier, he seemed to have forgiven her already. "Chikorita, everything's okay now, right?"
"Chiko!" she cried happily, rubbing her face into Ash's knee.
He patted her on the head. "Okay, that's good." He stood up and returned to the table.
Chikorita turned her head. "I'll have him one day…"
