Muk…really likes me. A lot.
It's quite the loveable Pokémon. He's really grown a liking to the Professor while I'm away. And pretty much anyone else he can catch within his reach.
But when he's around me…it's always just me. Cuddles galore. Being smothered galore.
I don't mind it, y'know? I love all of my Pokémon very dearly; they all mean so much to me.
Muk…was always a special case. All of my Pokémon return affection in their own ways. Mostly nuzzling.
But Muk can bombard me with love. So Muk gathers that amorphous, foul-smelling form of his and just tosses it upon me. If there was a way to describe drowning in affection, this was surely it.
Conversations on video phone with the Professor always involve a special guest. Muk comes along to steal the show—hi, Ash!—and then the Professor makes an appointment to see the chiropractor. Sorry, Professor!
My Pokémon have all made an important impact on my life. But I can surely say the affections of one such Sludge Pokémon never fail to make my day.
I dial up the Professor's number. Sure enough, fourteen seconds into the conversation…
"Muk!" he beams at me.
"Hello, Muk!"
I hope this is okay. I mean, putting too much effort into a human x Pokémon chapter will wreck my brain, haha
