Hey everyone, I didn't want to keep them apart for long, so by the end of this chapter they will be reunited. Yay.
Zelena arrived back at the Cavern, to find Regina sitting on the dirt, with her wings wrapped around her.
"Regina.." Zelena said shakily, as she knelled beside her.
"Your back" Regina replied lowly.
"Yes, I'm back are you okay?"
"No, what if Emma's badly hurt?"
"She won't be. She's strong Regina"
There was a pause.
"Did you find Gold?" Regina then asked, staring forward into the darkness.
"Yes I did"
"And?" she now looked to her sister.
"He was annoying and refused to tell me what I needed to know. However I did find out that Emma's parents were here"
Regina's eye's widened.
"He did help them" she added.
"And?" Regina asked.
I don't know. His up to something that is for sure" she sighed.
"Oh"
"Were work this out Regina" Zelena reassured her.
"Yeah, I just want to see Emma" Regina said sadly and Zelena put her hand on her sister's wings and said "I know"
Meanwhile, Emma was now in her room. Quickly sorting a bag with bits, that she wanted to take with her.
"What are you doing honey?" her mother asked from the doorway.
"Sorting out what I want to take with me"
"Too where?"
Emma sighed.
"To Regina" she answered seriously.
"You can't go anywhere just yet. You need to rest" her mother told her and Emma rolled her eyes.
"I have already waited too long mom" she turned to her. "Are you going to come with me?"
"To the alley?" she asked skeptically.
"Yes and the device I got will take us to Regina" she stated.
Her mother pondered for a moment and she reasoned, that nothing would happen if they went to the alley and proved that this was ridiculous, so what harm would it do.
"Okay" she said.
Emma smiled widely.
"What about dad?"
"I will talk with him"
"Okay. Um, you better pack what you want to bring but it can't be a lot"
She nodded sadly and walked away to the kitchen, where she worried about her daughters sanity.
Later that evening, David returned home to find Emma, looking through a cream, across the shoulder bag whilst sitting on the sofa.
"Is everything okay?" he asked Mary Margaret, as he watched Emma rearrange everything in the bag.
"I don't know. She still insists on going to go to the alley, no matter what we say. I think we need to go with her to make sure shes okay, as when she realizes nothing will happen, shes going to need us and then we take her to the doctors"
David thought for a moment.
"Okay"
Emma now got up and walked over to them.
"Did you talk?" she asked. Hopeful.
"Yes. Were both come with you honey to make sure your okay" she smiled and Emma rushed to both of them and hugged them.
The next morning. Emma was awake and ready to go at seven. However her parents had just got up.
"Have you guys ready?" she asked eagerly and David sighed.
"Were have breakfast then go, okay?"
Emma frowned but agreed.
"So, what are you going to pack?" Emma asked a long moment later, over her cereal.
David looked to Mary Margaret.
"I have just packed a change of clothes" she said.
Emma shook her head and said "No, you need to bring what is important to you, what you'd regret not taking"
"Photo's" David said softly. Knowing his wife loved to look over their family photo's.
Emma nodded at this and quickly ate the rest of her cereal.
When they arrived at one of the towns alley an hour and a half later, they walked ten steps forward until Emma turned to face her parents and said "put your hands on my shoulder"
They did hesitantly, with Emma putting the device on her wrist.
Nothing happened.
"I don't understand" Emma mumbled and she tried again.
"It's okay honey, lets just go home now" her mother said.
"No. You don't understand" Emma snapped and then it hit her. They were in the wrong alley. It must be, the next one along the street and she hit her forehead, in a duh like fashion.
"Were in the wrong one mom, it's the next one" she told them.
"Emma" David warned.
"Dad, please" she whined "If I'm wrong, were go home okay?"
They looked to each other and hesitantly agreed and two minutes later, they were again standing in another alley and looking at Emma worriedly.
"Right. Are you both ready?" she asked.
"Not really, but go ahead" he father joked and placed his hand on her shoulder, while her mother put her hand on the other shoulder.
Emma however, took a deep breath and thought, I'm coming Regina. I'm coming.
She then turned the device on, not knowing what she was doing and suddenly felt that flash again. The one that had knocked her out in Regina's old room.
Moments later, Emma opened her eyes to find herself flat on a dirt floor. She coughed and then pulled herself up on her knees.
She then looked sideways, to find her mother laying there, but awake and blinking and her father not far away from her mother, pulling himself up.
She then noticed, as her eyes adjusted that there was wings. Wings on her parents backs.
"HOLY FUCK" she shouted, which made Regina and Zelena look at each other, from just outside the cavern, as the echo had traveled down to them.
"Did you hear that?" Zelena asked.
"EMMA" Regina shouted and quickly headed into the cavern to find her, with Zelena following closely behind.
"Don't swear" Mary Margaret said, as she pulled herself up and held her head. She felt dizzy.
Emma just stared in shock at her parents, grey wings.
"Where are we?" David asked and looked to his wife and then said "What the hell" whilst starring at Mary Margaret wings and that's when she noticed his wings and stood in shock.
Emma immediately moved closer to them and that's when they looked to her and gasped.
"What?" she asked, seeing her parent's shocked expressions.
"You...you have wings" they said together.
Emma quickly turned her head and saw a part of her white wing.
"Holy crap" she said in surprise.
"Emma...what is going on?" her mother asked shakily.
"Are we dead?" David asked and Emma rolled her eyes.
"I told you. I was telling you truth. Do you believe me now?" she said sarcastically.
Both her parents looked to one another and just stared, but suddenly a voice shouted "EMMA" and they all looked in the direction of the voice. To see Regina running towards them, with Zelena close behind.
"REGINA" Emma shouted, as her heart went into overdrive and she run towards her love, feeling overjoyed.
"EMMA" Regina shouted back, as she embraced her, closing her eyes and feeling her love against her.
"Oh Emma, you came, your safe. I love you so much" she said shakily.
Emma melted into the embrace.
"Of course I came. I had to find you. I love you" she replied shakily. Both not taking notice of three gaping family members.
Regina then pulled back, to look at Emma's face.
"Your so beautiful" she whispered and Emma pushed their lips together, in a soul shaking kiss that reunited there souls and made their wings flutter.
Zelena then coughed after a long moment and Emma chuckled.
It was then, that Regina noticed Emma's wings, because they were slightly fluttering and she stepped back slightly and gaped.
"Regina?" Emma muttered.
"You have wings Emma" she whispered.
"I know, what's that about?" Emma asked, but Regina just stared in awe, she had never seen an guardian or any being of her world, with pure white wings.
Zelena stepped closer and said "I believe your parents left here many years ago" she looked to David and Mary Margaret, how were holding each other in what looked like shock and disbelief and she quickly went to over to them, to reassure them that everything was okay.
"I know this is a shock to you both, but I promise, you are okay here" she told them softly, looking between the two.
"What is going on?" David asked her.
"I don't know the full facts, but I am sure you both left her many years ago for some reason and a man called Gold. Helped you leave"
"Who are we then?" Mary Margaret asked.
"Guardians" Zelena said happily. "Like me and Regina" she smiled.
Meanwhile, Regina was still marveling in her loves wings, Emma looked like an angel and Regina was looking at her, like a lovesick puppy.
Emma chuckled lightly at Regina's expression and squeezed her hands.
"Why does Emma have white wings?" David then asked and Zelena smirked.
"You two are true loves" she told them "True love is very rare here and me and Regina, have never seen a product of true love"
"A product?" Mary Margaret said, confused.
"Yes. True love's produce guardians, with pure white wings. They are very special and are said to have magical ability"
"What?" Emma said in surprise and Zelena smirked at her and then said "Looks like I could be an aunty after all, that's if you want any little ones" she chuckled and everyone else just gaped at her.
Thanks for reading everyone & things will start to become clearer, now their back where they belong.
And in case anyone is wondering, they can see their wings because that spell breaks, once back in their own realm but the forgetting potion they took, requires a memory potion to remember, because its more complex. I hope that makes sense.
