Shizuru sat behind her large oak desk, elbows against its hard surface as she rubbed her temples. Eyes closed she let out a low breath before sitting up straight in her chair. She wanted that soul, she could not understand how a woman so wild could have such a pure soul. Everything about Natsuki Kuga screamed bad, wild, does not play well with the law; yet she was perfectly clean, she looked at the blank files in front of her.

How would she ever claim her soul? She would have to do a lot of playing to get Natsuki onto her path. Leaning back in her chair she closed her eyes once more as a smirk appeared on the devil's lips. A plan was forming her mind and she hoped it would work her to be able to claim not only Natsuki's soul but the woman herself.

Natsuki wiped at her face with the towel to stop the sweat from streaming into her eyes. She rolled out from under the car and shook her head slightly. She felt bad for the poor car, the owner waited too long to take it to the shop and there was just everything wrong with it! The brakes looked as if they would have seen better days going through the apocalypse, the gas tank had small rust holes at the bottom. She sighed and headed over to the side table that held a pot of coffee, she poured herself a mug and took slow sips as she stared at the car. The car did not suit the owner, that was for sure, she had an air of confidence and class. Her car on the other hand, looked like it was bought out of the wrecking yard.

Green eyes scanned the empty shop, spotting the old radio she walked over to it and turned on the rock station. She turned up the volume and laid on her board once more rolling under the car, tapping her foot to the beat. She hummed with the music, careful not to open her mouth to sing as to not end up with a mouth full of rust.

As the hours went on, the main lobby filled with the orange glow of the setting sun. Natsuki sat at a desk, in one of the back offices, glaring at the computer as she did her least favourite part of the job; filling out the work forms and doing the paper work. The music was still blasting from the little radio, her brows were furrowed as she scribbled onto the papers, clicking through price lists and part numbers. She would pause to think of what she had done and would continue scratching the pen across the pages. She was so lost in thought she never heard the chime of the bells as the front door was opened in the front lobby. She couldn't hear the soft lilt of the tawny haired woman as she announced her arrival into the shop over the sound of the blasting radio.

Shizuru looked around the empty lobby room and raised an eyebrow, no one was around yet she could hear the loud music from outside the shop. She followed the music, cringing slightly as she got closer to the radio in the shop, next to her car. She looked around and still found no one, she puffed out her cheeks indignantly, quickly she recovered when she spotted a light from the back office. She smirked and strode over to the open door. Once she reached the doorframe she leaned against it, crimson eyes darkening as she watched the dark hair beauty sitting at her desk.

She wondered how close she could get before the woman would notice her. At this rate she would probably be able to strut in naked and sit on her lap without a glance. Her mind stopped at the thought, the thought was tempting and she would have to keep it for another time. She cleared her throat and concealed her grin as Natsuki jumped, nearly falling out of her chair. "I'm sorry, I did not mean to startle, Natsuki," she said with mirth swimming in her eyes.

"What the hell?!" Natsuki burst as she sat straight in the chair, cheeks flaring red in embarrassment. Shizuru's eyes widened slightly at the sight and she forced a sheepish smile. "I am sorry, Natsuki, I was just coming to see how everything was going with the car." Shizuru had to hide her disappointment as the blush on those pale cheeks subsided.

"Well I have good and bad news… The good news is I finished with your car. The bad news is you had quite the repairs that needed done…" Natsuki shuffled through her papers, looking for the invoice she had written up. She let out a slow breath as she held the paper towards Shizuru, who had pushed away from the doorway and reached for it. She looked the bill over and feigned surprise, honestly she had taken the car from one of the souls Tomoe had fetched for her. She did not really need the rolling hunk of scrap metal, but it was her ticket closer to Natsuki. She looked the invoice over and nodded her head slowly.

"Ara, I do hope, Natsuki accepts credit," she said in a slight teasing voice.

Natsuki sat in her small one bedroom apartment and rubbed her face slightly. How did it end up like this? One moment she was doing paper work the next she had agreed to let Shizuru take her to diner in a few days. She sighed and let herself lay on the couch, why had she agreed so easily? She shook her head and stood from the couch making her way to the bathroom. A shower and some sleep, after all that work today she needed a good night sleep.

Crimson eyes glowed in the candle light as she sat on the edge of a bed of a lovely blonde. Lifeless eyes stared up at the ceiling as Shizuru stood slowly, a small rattling sound brought her attention to an open bottle of pills she must have kicked. This was an easy collection, no persuasion was needed she just needed to come and collect her prize. She touched the deep purple pendant at her neck as it glowed brightly before dimming to an almost black gem.

Her eyes softened as she looked at the blonde once more, her eyes softening slightly before looking over to the note that was left on the bureau. "If you would have opened up to them, I would not be here tonight, child." The devil had come for the soul, but some souls were only hers by simple ignorance or fear. A small sad smile graced her lips as she walked out of the room, leaving the lifeless body alone in the room.
