Us wreak havoc? Yeah right. I started laughing at his comment.

"What's so funny?" Law asked

"I would like to see you guys wreak 'havoc'. You prefer to stay out of the limelight."

"Tch, well won't you be in for a world of surprise." Law snapped.

I rolled my eyes,"Show me what you can do then," I said with a smirk on my face. Oh, how the tables have turned. It seems that he is now the one that is annoyed. Ha!

"Penguin! Shachi! Bepo! Pull the ship up to the dock!"

"Yes sir!"

Law and I walked to the hatch and climbed up top. I sat down and watched as we slowly approached the island. As far as the eye could see the beach stretched out. The sand was a pink-redish color and it sparkled in the sunlight. Beyond the beach was a mountain area. The mountains looked like they touched heaven. The way the clouds covered the mountain made them look dark and mysterious. The sun was also in the perfect place, it illuminated the mountains, like the mountains were a stage and the sun was a spotlight. Very slowly more and more details came into view.

"Wow, it's beautiful."

"Ya." I turned my head and caught Law staring at me. I turned my head away so he wouldn't see me blushing.

"I mean the view."

"I know."

"Hmp, those trees look weird." I pointed to a tree that had the leaves all on the side. The top and bottom of it were completely bare.

"I agree, the sand color is also a bit strange."

"Ya, the mountains seem to be the only normal thing on this island." I said jokingly.

"I wouldn't be to quick to judge, I mean, they look a bit…yellow, don't they?"

I squinted,"That's just the sun."

"Kathren look were the sun is."

I looked up in the sky, the sun was at high noon. "Well, isn't that interesting."

We sat in silence for a little while before I realized something. "Hey, Law, there doesn't seem to be a dock. Actually the island looks uninhabited."

Law frowned," Yeah, I noticed that. But don't worry about it, we will get as close as we can and then go on shore."

"You want to go even though there's nothing on it?"

"Oh Kathren, you never know what you might find."

"We are lowering the anchor captain!" Yelled Penguin.

"Okay! Let's go to shore!" Law jumped off the ship and into the water. It went to about his chest area.

He looked up at me,"Come on and jump, I will catch you." I hesitantly went to the side,"Come on already, the water makes me weak."

I looked at him confused,"What? It does?"

"Yes, I ate a Devil Fruit, didn't I tell you that?"

"Um? I tried to think back on past conversations, but nothing was coming to my mind,"I don't know, maybe."

"Never mind then, just jump."

"Um.. Oka-" I was suddenly pushed from behind. "Ahhhhhh!" Law caught me in his arms and gently put me down in the water. I looked up and saw Bepo standing there.

"Oops," said Bepo, and then he jumped in and soon after Penguin and Shachi joined us as well.

We all waded to the beach together. The sand was cold and had a strange texture to it. There were strange animals crawling all around. One looked like a crab, but it had horns on it. Another animal looked like turtle except it had claws and was a bright blue color.

"Hey look at that bird," Penguin pointed up at one of the trees,"Well… I think it's a bird."

"It looks more like a squirrel," pipped in Shachi.

"I think it looks like both," I said.

They nodded in agreement.

"Let's split up, everyone knows what they are looking for correct?" Everyone but me nodded their heads. " Good, Kathren come with me." Everyone started off into different directions.

"What are we looking for?" I asked as I caught up with him.

"It's a type of medical herb called, Bachu. It's also known as Betulina Barosma. It helps wit kidney stones, bladder infections heartburns, colds and flu. The only problem is that it's extremely rare."

He looked all excited when he talked medical. "So it that what everyone is looking for?"

"No, everyone has their own medical plant to find. Since you are not experienced you will be with me for now."

"Ah, I see, so what does this plant look like?"

"It's white flower with 5 petals. The center of the flower is green. The leaves are oval shape and have ridges. Some say the leaves look like they have thorns."

"Hmm, Oh!" I stopped at plant that matched his description. " Like this one!" I bent over to touch it.

"No!" Law grabbed my hand, "That's Cerbera Odollom, it's extremely poisonous. People call it the suicide tree, if it's poison gets inside of you, your heart will paralyze and you will die."

"Eh!?" I back up, "Okay thanks for the warning, you can let my hand go now."

He dropped my hand," God, you are just trying to get yourself killed," he mumbled. "Look at that plant you almost touched and tell me if it really looks like what I told you."

I stared at it,"Well it doesn't have that texture you were talking about."

"Correct, also the leaves are a different shape. It's not an oval shape, it's long and narrow. The petals aren't the right shape either."

"You never told me the shape of the petals."

"Bachu has pointed petals, if you look at these petals you can see that they are rounded."

"Ah, I see."

Law started walking forward again, "Bachu likes to grow near the bottoms of mountains, let's go."

The mountain was farther away then we both thought. It was deep in this forest. The sun was starting to go down, which made everything seem creepy.

"The shadows are dancing," I mumbled.

"Yes, they are." We entered into a clueing,"Let's rest here for the night. We won't get anywhere in the dark."

I sat down in the grass," Even the grass is weird, being white. Go home grass, you're drunk."

Law laughed and sat down next to me,"Yes this is very strange grass, but there are many plants here that are familiar."

"You know a lot about medical stuff, where do you store it all." I tapped his head teasingly.

"Ha, ha, very funny." He snatched my hand. "You know, I am very grateful that you joined my crew, Kathren." He looked at me with soft eyes.

"Well it's been a pleasure!" I laughed. He's still holding my hand, do I say something?

The sun was setting and making the whole area around us shine in a beautiful orange light.

Law and I were both smiling and laughing, he took hold of my other hand.

"Law? Is something the matt-"

As I was speaking he leaned and kissed me on my lips.
