Ch. 17: Red Ribbon Army

Colonel Silver and Muscle Tower

We woke up the next morning in a new place. We landed next to a stream. We washed our faces and gulped down some water. Goku checked the Dragon Radar to see if we are near a Dragon Ball. We were, so we hopped onto Kintuon to head towards the Dragon ball.

We zipped lower to the ground past two men, one was a humanoid wolf and the other was an old man. We greeted them. I watched Goku fiddle with the Dragon Radar and search for the Dragon Ball. When he found it, the men started to threaten Goku for it. I was going to beat them up, but Goku had them. I huffed.

"I get the next guy that attacks, ok brat. You think we should keep this even if we don't need it?"

"Yeah, I guess. I hope that the next one will be Grandpa's ball."

"Me too"

I picked up the ball. I ruffled his hair when he got on. We shot off towards the next Dragon Ball. We were about a few minutes away from the men, high in the air, when suddenly an explosion went off under us, making Kintuon disappear. We landed on our feet. We saw our attacker with a large gun thing.

He was taller than me by a head. He had no shirt, but his pants, scarf, and hair are bright red. His long trench coat and boots were black. He started to question us like he hadn't just destroyed Goku's Kintuon. We got a name from him as he took off his coat. I wondered why he was called Silver when he mostly wore red and black. But, I was too angry care at the moment.

"You better apologize. That cloud was given to my little brother as a gift from our Master."

Colonel Silver ignored me and kept asking the same questions. I huffed. I turned around away from him, showing my back to him. I gave him the insult that he wasn't even a threat to me.

"Come on, let's head out. He's clearly not going to apologize."

Goku nodded and picked up our bags. I took mine from him to carry my own stuff. Then Silver tried to take our stuff but I was able to elbow him in the face. He lay on the ground squirming while holding his face. I motioned for Goku to make room as I gave him my bag back. Silver stood up and got into a boxing pose.

"I heard from my men that the boy was exceptional, but from that hit you gave tells me that you're not just a pretty face."

I scrunched up my nose at the veiled compliment. If he hadn't of been my opponent, I would have been flattered. He attacked me, but I was able to smoothly dodge him and flow out my own attack. He went down after I hit him once in the jaw. I sighed.

"Well, that was easy. Not much of a fight was it?"

Goku nodded. I grabbed my bag from him and went into one of the capsule houses. I found a box of capsules. I didn't know what he put in each of them. We went outside, and I tried one of them. It became a robot. It was a great help.

Now we are in the air in an airplane with the robot driving. Goku was in my lap with the bags on the floor between my legs. I was in the back seat, the only seat available. Goku compared the airplane to Kintuon. It was slower than our beloved cloud, but it was faster than walking.

It started to get colder a bit while later. I pulled out our blankets. They kept us a little bit warmer, but the further we go the blankets didn't really help much anymore.

We needed to land, but it seems our robot friend froze so we started to go down. I grabbed our stuff and Goku and jumped out and landed in the white stuff before we could crash. It was freezing! I strapped our stuff to my back with my bigger blanket. I wrapped Goku in his blanket, but I held him close to me. I wandered the white stuff for a bit, looking for some kind of shelter.

It was so cold. I fell to my knees. The cold was sapping my strength and trying to lock my joints. I was shivering and my vision was blearing. I stood back and traveled at bit more before I was about to go out I saw a small person cautiously head towards me. I smiled so I wouldn't seem threatening.

I could now tell it was a little girl.

"Hey, miss you shouldn't out here without warm clothes! Come with me, I'll take you to my house to get warm."

I smiled wider and thanked her. We trekked across the snow to her home. I just hope I can hold out until then and no fights were to happen. I wouldn't be able to protect anyone in the state I'm in.
