I didn't know what to do. I have never been kissed before. I mean it was such a surprise that I just sat there dumbfounded, with his lips on mine. And damn did he taste good. I felt myself sinking down and he grabbed me before I could fall to the ground. He wrapped his arms around me and held me tight. His lips still glued to mine, I really didn't know what to do, I felt so awkward. Should I do something with my hands? I have no idea. With his arms wrapped around me and his lips on mine we sank to the ground. He then released me from his grip and let go of my lips. He was now on top of me. Law's eyes were looking deep into mine. Which most likely showed a lot of shock and confusion.

"You need to work on your kissing skills."

"Uh…um…what?"

"Have you never been kissed before?" He asked with a laugh.

"Uh…uh" It seems I have forgotten how to speak.

"Really now? Someone as pretty as you? Well then, it;s no wonder why you have to work on your kissing skills." He had his normal smirk on.

Now with the confusion and the shock came some anger. How dare he just kiss me like that! I mean what the hell!?

So with my new built anger, and with him still not getting off of me, I managed to find some strength in my body, and I slapped him, real hard too.

He sat up on me his hand on his face,"What the hell Kathren? What was that for!?"

"You don't just go and kiss people randomly!" I was really angry and I didn't fully understand why, maybe it was because he did it without my acknowledgment. What ever it was I was pissed.

"It wasn't random Kathren! I kissed you on purpose!"

I puffed up my cheeks and gave him my best death glare.

His eyes went dark and his face turned into a sneer,"Fine Kathren, act that way if you want." He got up and moved to the other side of the opening. He leaned up against a tree and put his hat over his face.

I sat there in complete silence. I had multiple feelings running through me. But I started to feel shame for the way I acted. Maybe I shouldn't have been so angry, I mean it was just a kiss. It wasn't like he took my virginity away. I should go apologize.

It was maybe 10 minutes after the argument that I decided to go over to him. It was almost pitch black at this point and I stumbled over rocks and branches. I sat down in front of him. "Law….," I sighed,"I'm sorry, I over reacted."

"…" Law returned with silence.

"I understand that you are mad at me, I will just go back over there." I looked over at the now completely pitch black area. Damn, I can't see anything, I can't even tell if Law is still sitting there.

I started to get up to leave when I felt a hand grab my ankle. "It's to dark now, sit down."

I hesitated, and then slowly sat down.

"Was it bad?" Law asked.

"Was what bad?"

"The kiss, Is that why you got so mad?"

I laughed awkwardly,"No, I was just really surprised."

"I see, so it was good then?" I could hear the smirk on his face.

"Um.." I felt my face start to turn red. It's a good thing he can't see me.

He started to chuckled,"Alright then,"he yawned, "It's time to go to sleep."

"Ya," I laid down," Good night."

"Ya…"

I could tell he was still angry with me or maybe it was more frustration. I felt my eyes getting droopy and I was soon drifting off to sleep. Right before I was completely taken over by sleep I heard Law say something.

"Kathren…My mystery girl."

And then I was out, in my own nightmares and desires. I dreamt of my parents that night. Of the horrible tragedy that took place those so many years ago. Will my nightmares ever end? Only time will tell.

I awoke at dawn in a cold sweat. I sat up and wiped my forehead with my hand. I hate these dreams. I hate my father for killing my mother. I hate that man for starting it all. I hate the revenge that I want. I feel such anger toward myself, it was showing clearly on my face.

So clearly that Law spoke up,"Are you alright?"

I had forgotten about Law, and the situation we were in. I glanced to the side and saw him looming above me. I smiled,"Ya, just had a bad dream."

"Another?"

"I tend to have them every night."

"Sadly, as a surgeon, that is something I cannot fix."

"I know, don't worry about it."

Law offered me his hand and I took it. "Thank you," My back was sore from sleeping on the ground.

"You look exhausted," Law observed.

"You don't look any better yourself." I saw Law's face go into a half smile.

"True, let's get going. I would like to be back at the ship by tomorrow, if possible."

So we left the clearing and started towards the strange colored mountains. Since there was no definite pate I stumbled, a lot. Sticks, stones, my own feet, thin air, ya… I/m pretty clumsy. Luckily Law was being generous today and helped me out. He guided me through the wood and picked me up when I fell. We were walking for about an hour when I realized that I was starving. We haven't eaten any breakfast yet. My stomach talked before I could say something.

"I take it that you are hungry?" Law asked as he glanced at me.

"Ah, yes."

"Good, cause I am too and we didn't eat anything last night either."

"Ya, guess we sorta just forgot about food."

"I wonder why?" Law said teasingly.

"Shut up."

We continued on walking while looking for food. I found some berries, which Law told me were poisonous. Then he found some mushrooms, which I hate. We stumbled upon a creek and filled up our canteens. I found a fruit tree, it looked like bananas but they were red and tasted like raspberries. While we munched on the rasp-bananas, we got attacked by a bat-tiger. We managed to escape from its sharp fangs and long claws, but we could see it flying about the trees searching for us.

"Are we almost to the base of the mountains," I asked as I watched out for the crazy bat-tiger.

"I believe so." Law replied without taking his eyes off of the path.

I looked up to look for any animals.

"Hey, Kathren, watch out for the-"

"Ahhhhhh!"

"Hole…"

I fell into the hole and landed with a thud on the ground.
