The butler shut the door behind us, "You shouldn't have done that," he said in a grim voice.

"What did you honestly expect? When someone has a bizarre voice such as that?" Law brought up his hand in a threatening way, "Now get out of our way."

The butler glared at as,"Alas, I do not wish to fight and neither does my master. Just leave." He stepped out of our way and pointed down the hallway. "Once you get to the main staircase go down it and out through the door. Then take a right. Continue to head straight in that direction and there will be a path that will lead you to the surface."

"Good," Law grabbed my hand and we headed down the hallway.

The butler yelled after us, "You will come to regret laughing at my master. It will come back to haunt you and do not forget it."

"That's a bit creepy," I said to Law.

"Just ignore it, they're just freaks."

"I guess I'm just glad we got out of there without a fight."

"Yes, but I feel like this is trap."

Our pace quickened, "I doubt that, I mean they were mad but I don't think they mean any harm."

"I don't tend to trust people."

"You trust me, don't you?"

He stopped walking and I ran into him, "Law, you shouldn't stop when you have a person being dragged behind you."

He slowly turned towards me,"Kathren." He let go of my hand,"Kathren…"

He had a look in his eye that concerned me,"What's the matter?"

"How little you know of me," he mumbled. He caressed my face,"How little…"

"Law, you're scaring me." I backed away slightly.

Law shocked his head,"Sorry, let's go." He took my hand again and strided down the stairs.

I don't understand what did he mean? Does he not trust me? After all this time of traveling together and he doesn't trust me. What secret is he hiding? He looked so sad! What happened to him?

We finally reached the door, "Law-"

"No, Kathren just shut your mouth."

I was so appalled, I shrunk back and bit my lip.

Law dropped my hand and pulled the colossal door opened.

"Come on," He took hold of my hand again and dragged me out of the castle. We turned to the right and walked along an almost invisible path. There was so much dirt covering it that it just looked like the cave floor. I kept my head down as we walked, trailing after Law. I wanted to talk to him, ask him questions, but he was pissed off.

The cave floor slowly went up and soon we were walking on a steep incline. I glanced up and noticed light seeping in from the top. Of course, being the clumsy me, the moment I looked up I also tripped over my own feet. This hill we were on was extremely steep too. So when I tripped, I was also falling backwards.

"EEKK," I shut my eyes.

The next thing I know is Law's hands holding me up. "You need to work on your walking. I guess you were never properly taught."

"Ha, ha, very funny."

With Law's help we finally made it to the opening at the top.

"Let's not do that again," I said as Law helped me out of the hole.

"As long as you don't do anything stupid, we won't have to."

"It's not like I did it on purpose."

"Or maybe you did. How am I supposed to know?"

"You'll just have to trust me on that."

"And how can I trust you?"

I was flustered, "Law, why would you let me join your crew if you didn't trust me? What was the whole point of anything? Why did you not let me die in the house fire? Why did you treat my injuries? When we were in Treetops why didn't you just leave me after the storm? Why listen to my past? Why bother training me? Why did you help me get out of that castle? Why have you done anything that you have? Why do you continue to help me, protect me? Why would you do any of these things and not trust me!?" Seemed like it was my turn to be angry.

"Because.." Law sighed,"It's difficult to explain Kathren."

"What is? What are you thinking Law? I want to know."

"Honestly?"

"Yes?"

"I'm only thinking one thing right now." Law took a step towards me and wrapped his arms around me. I felt my face turn bright red. His face came closer to mine, our lips just inches apart.

"Hey! There, WOAH! Sorry we did not mean to interrupt." Shachi came bursting through some bushes, along with Penguin and Bepo.

"Oh my god," I said; Law dropped his arms and faced his crew.

"We will just go on our way," Shachi said, Penguin and Bepo were both giggling.

"No, we weren't doing anything. Let's get going." Law said with some mixed emotions in his voice.

"Oh! What about the flower?" I asked, trying to act like nothing happened.

"I got it already," Law said with his back turned towards me. "Now let's go."

"Yes captain!" The three said and headed after him.

I sighed,"Way to ruin a perfect moment. Knowing Law, that will never happen again." I watched the 4 walk. "I really want to kiss him now…" I closed my eyes and frowned, "Whatever, Hey wait for me!" I yelled after them as I took off running.
